Inside the inn, Tyler and Emilia’s gazes met briefly before diverging.
At this moment, Tyler’s heart sounded an internal alert, and he readied himself for battle.
His numerous experiences in real-time scenarios had honed his ability to discern that the atmosphere in the room was decidedly amiss!
Tyler realized that if the current situation were to proceed unaltered, he might no longer be able to travel or operate independently.
However, Tyler was a seasoned hand who quickly analyzed the situation and promptly devised a countermeasure.
“Ah? You want me to take a look at you? Emilia, are you feeling unwell?”
Tyler reached out and touched Emilia’s forehead, finding it alarmingly warm.

In the tender atmosphere, Emilia addressed Banning by his name for the first time, a warmth she had not felt in a long time enveloped her.

Banning’s scent filled her senses, making her feel as if she were being held by him, her heart pounding even faster.
