These were the words that I was able to understand from the repeated sentences of all those cursed fairies and I think, I have a rough theory of what’s happening.
These fairies are being controlled by something since that day one of them said that she is going to bring dusk for her master.
Now, they want help but I still don’t know what ’Go to the middle’, ’Negative mana’, ’Tree’s root’ and ’Heart Fruit’ means.’ Leon thought as he continued to think about it.
“Hey… A-Are you alright ?” Mia asked from a distance, a scared expression visible on her face.
“Oh yeah. I thought you were scared and went back home.” Leon replied with a neutral expression as he looked at her.
“No, I was watching you the whole time while hiding behind that house. You aren’t hearing any voices in your head are you ?” Mia asked with a worried expression as she walked upto him.
“Unfortunately no. I guess, I won’t be dying anytime soon.” Leon replied with a smile.
“Hey don’t say that… I don’t want you to die before you take me out of this stupid village.” Mia replied with a smile as she sat right next to him.
“Hey, I think… The cursed creatures that you fear so much were once good creatures and then something turned them into these monsters.
Although it’s just a theory… But, what do you think ?” Leon asked with a curious expression as he looked at Mia.
“I don’t know what to say… Those creatures have killed so many of us in such cruel ways that even if I want to agree with you… I just can’t.” Mia replied with a sad expression as she added a wood to the wood.
“Who got killed from your family ?” Leon asked with a neutral expression.
“My grandfather… He heard their voice and went crazy, at first he said that those voices were in his head and then he just went crazy, he started drawing unknown things on the walls and floor of our house.
My father tried to stop him but at last, he just went crazy and ran out of the village, later that night he got killed by the fairies.” Mia explained.
“Ah… That’s why the villagers call you crazy huh ?” Leon asked with a neutral expression as he looked at Mia.
“Yes… My father went out on hunting one day, never returned. I thought what worse can happen after this and just then… Robi came into my life.
He was so great, we got married and had a kid. But I don’t know what happened to him… One night he just took our six months old son and ran out of the village.
I don’t know what happened to him. The fairies never brought his head back, so I still think that they made it out of the forest but everyone thinks I am even more crazy for thinking that.
… I don’t know, Leon. I think, I might be going crazy and I am afraid that I will also run out of the village one day.” Mia spoke with a sad expression as tears started coming out of her eyes.
Leon slowly placed his hand over her shoulder and Mia placed her head over his shoulder.
“I just want to get out of this place… Leon. I can’t stay in this fear of going crazy, I can’t stay in fear of those fairies and I can’t stay in the fear that something even worse is going to happen to me.” Mia spoke as she closed her eyes and tears continued to flow out of her eyes.
“Life is not fair to everyone, Darling. My parents abandoned me when I was little… It wasn’t a very good life until now but one day you just-” Before Leon could’ve completed his sentence, he noticed that Mia has fallen asleep on his shoulder while crying.
“I am sorry for her childish behaviour.” A familiar sound came from the other side.
Leon immediately looked up and noticed that the chief was sitting on the other side of the campfire.
’When did he get here ? I didn’t hear any noise. I didn’t feel his presence. He is like a ghost.’ Leon thought with a serious expression as he immediately used his skill on him.

In just a few seconds, his white hairs turned brown, his wrinkled face turned into the face of a very young guy in his twenties and four transparent wings popped out of his back.
He was wearing magical rings in every finger and his staff was also made out of an unknown shining material.
“Mr. Leon ? Are you alright ?” Orion asked with a suspicious expression as he stood up from his place and started walking towards him.
“Oh… I am good. I-I just heard the chants of those cursed creatures and they are just disturbing me now.” Leon replied with a neutral expression as he looked at Orion.
“Wait… You heard their chants ? Oh my god, do you need any help ? I can help you with it. I have a herb that can-”
“I can deal with it. Don’t you worry.” Leon replied with a neutral expression as he acted completely normal.
“Ah… I see. I don’t want you running out of this village before impregnating the women. Haha…” Orion spoke as he laughed a little.
“Don’t you worry… I have called one of them to my house tonight. After taking Mia back to her house, I will be going to do it with her.” Leon replied with a smile.
“Oh… That’s very very good. You can just leave Mia to me and go. I can take her to her house and you can just go and start doing it right now.” Orion replied with an excited expression.

“I see. Well then… I will see you tomorrow.” Leon spoke as he left after that.
“If you want more women, I will send them to you. Don’t hesitate to ask for another partner.” Orion spoke as he also stood up.
