Leon is now sitting near the campfire and he is eating some wild berries and meat of some unknown monster.
All the other villagers are also sitting around the fire and they are also enjoying their food.
“How is the food ?” Oliver asked with a smile as he looked at Leon.
“What kind of monster’s meat is this ?” Leon asked with a confused expression.
“We call them Dire boars… They roam around the nearby areas and gets caught in the traps really easily.” Oliver replied with a smile.
“What about the berries ? They taste kind of sweet and sour.” Leon asked with a confused expression.
“Oh… These berries are being eaten for so many years in this village but we just call them berries, no name.” Oliver replied as he sat down and started eating his food.
“So… Tell us, how did you survive in the outside world for so long ?” The muscular man who was sitting right in front of Leon asked with a confused expression.
“Huh…? Ah, yes… It was really hard. You know how the world is covered with those cursed monsters.
It wasn’t a easy life.” Leon replied with a neutral expression as he looked at him.

“I never got to know your name…” Leon asked as he looked at the muscular guy.
“Oh, I am Benny. I am the strongest guy in this village… See this ?” Benny spoke with a smile as he immediately placed his plate down and started showing his biceps to Leon.
“Oh I see it… You are the guy who placed that sword on my neck yesterday, aren’t you ?” Leon asked with a smile as he looked at Benny.
“Look man… I had no choice. You just barged into the village with a monster and It’s my responsibility to protect them.” Benny replied with a neutral expression as he looked at Leon.
“So… Have you ever thought of fighting those cursed creatures with that strong body of yours ?” Leon asked with a neutral expression as he looked at Benny.
“C-Cursed creatures ? No one can fight them… They are really strong and so fast that you can’t even properly see them when they move.
No one can fight them. We just have to stay away from them until god comes to save us.” Benny replied.
“God comes to save you ?” Leon asked with a confused expression.
“Yes… Village Chief says that one day, god will come down and save us from these cursed creatures.” Oliver spoke as he looked at Leon.
“I see. So, What’s God ?” Leon asked with a smile.
“God is a really powerful being who can do anything he wants and he can even bring back the people who have died.” Oliver explained.
“Oh… Is that so ? Who told you about this ’God’ ?” Leon asked with a curious expression.
“Village Chief.” Mia replied in a low voice as she looked at Leon.
’So… He is giving them fake hope.’ Leon thought with a neutral expression.
“We are very-” Before Oliver could’ve completed his sentence, cracking noises started coming from the forest.
“T-They are here.” A woman spoke as she immediately stood up and started walking towards her house with a scared expression on her face.
“Hmm…?” Leon looked at her with a confused expression as he noticed that all the villagers have placed their plates down and stood up from their places.
“What happened ?” Leon asked as he looked at Oliver.
“The cursed creatures… They are coming. Look…” Oliver replied as he pointed towards the village’s boundary.
Leon immediately turned around and noticed that the Cursed Fairies were standing right outside the boundary and they are staring at the villagers.
“They can’t enter inside the village, right ? Why are you guys so afraid ?” Leon asked with a confused expression as he looked at Oliver.
“They talk in this odd manner… Once you hear their voices they won’t get out of your head and give you nightmares for countless nights and one day… You will loose your mind and just run out of the village, then they will kill you.
We have seen this happen with so many.” Oliver replied as he turned around and started walking towards his house.
As all the villagers walked back to their houses, one of them turned around and noticed something odd.
Instead of walking towards his house, Leon was walking towards the fairies.
“H-Hey… That guy is walking towards the cursed creatures.” He shouted.
All of them immediately stopped and turned around to look at Leon.
“Oh no…” Mia spoke as she immediately ran towards Leon.
“Hey, Hey, Hey… Stop. You can’t go there, if you listened to their voices, you will go crazy. Didn’t you hear Oliver ?” She asked as she immediately grabbed Leon’s hand and stopped him from going.
But the fairies kept staring at him as their mouths continued to move in a silent manner as if they were chanting some kind of spell.
’I should listen to her but for some reason… My mind is telling me to get closer to them and listen to what they are saying.’ Leon thought as he silently removed her hand from his hand.
“W-What are you… Doing ?” Mia asked with a confused expression as she looked at him.
Leon didn’t reply and continued to walk towards the fairies.
“Instant Kill…” Leon spoke in a low voice as he manually activated the skill.

They were speaking gibberish but they were speaking in a very sad tone and black tears were falling out of their eyes.
