Scorching Sun Sect’s treasury was located in a palace. There was a stone door deep into the palace which was covered in a flaming radiance, obviously meaning that there’s a powerful formation protecting the door.
This palace was supposed to be guarded, but the guards had long escaped, allowing Su Mo to get to the stone door without facing any obstacles.
“This is our sect’s treasury!” the middle-aged man stopped before the stone door and said.
“What’s the formation here?”
Su Mo asked as he looked at the spiralling flame aura on the door.
“It’s the Eight Rotating Flames Formation! It’s an extremely powerful defensive formation, even an expert of Lv 1 Enlightenment Realm can’t possibly break it!” the man replied.
Following which, he looked at Su Mo cautiously and asked uncertainly, “I’ve brought you to the treasury, can I leave now?”
Su Mo glanced at him and said, “It won’t be too late to let you go after I destroy this formation and get into the treasury!”
Su Mo couldn’t possibly let him leave because he might be lying, and this place might not be the treasury.

The middle-aged man put on a bitter expression.
He was complaining inwardly because he didn’t think that Su Mo could destroy this formation at all. The Eight Rotating Flames Formation had an extremely powerful defense, and without a way to open it, even two or three Lv 1 Enlightenment Realm experts couldn’t possibly destroy the formation.
Su Mo walked before the stone door and fixed his gaze on it. His aura suddenly surged as a five-colored light surrounded him.
He then punched the door violently.

Seeing that Su Mo refused to give up, the man looked at Su Mo disdainfully. He believed that Su Mo was wasting his strength as he could never succeed.
Although Su Mo was powerful enough to kill a martial artist at a half step to the Enlightenment Realm in an instant, he was still far from being able to break the Eight Rotating Flames Formation!
Su Mo stood before the stone door and took a deep breath. He wanted to break this formation with one strike!

This sword was heavy as a mountain as its power reached the extreme. Shrouded in the five-colored sword radiance, the sword split the air and slashed at the stone door.
The flaming aura formed a giant flame shield again and collided with the sword.

With a thunderous explosion, the shield trembled, and then, to the man’s disbelief, it was blown to pieces.

The Eight Rotating Flames Formation was completely destroyed and exposed the antique and simple stone door.
“This…he really broke it!” the man fell into a daze.
After breaking the formation, Su Mo pushed open the door gently to reveal a gigantic treasury.
The first thing he saw was a milk white radiance coming from an enormous pile of spiritual stones.
Apart from spiritual stones, there were many other various treasures like spiritual herbs and weapons.
However, Su Mo felt slightly disappointed when he saw everything in the treasury.
The fortune inside the treasury was much less than Su Mo had expected. He had thought that Scorching Sun Sect, as one of Skymoom’s four sects, would contain an endless amount of spiritual stones and treasures. But now that he took a look at it, it was less than even 10% of what he had.
However, Su Mo wasn’t too disappointed. There were over 200 million lower spiritual stones, not to mention the spiritual herbs and weapons that were worth even more. This was a big fortune.
After entering the treasury, Su Mo started keeping the treasures.
Meanwhile, the middle-aged man chose to run away hastily.
He didn’t count on Su Mo to let him off, so he took the first opportunity he had to get away.
Su Mo didn’t care about his escape since he had found the treasury!
He soon emptied the treasury.
Su Mo then left the palace and shot into the sky above Scorching Sun Sect.
“From today onward, Scorching Sun Sect will cease to exist!”
