Su Mo shook his head. Although he did not want to fight against anyone, this man insisted on challenging him. So of course, he would not back off.
Then, Su Mo walked out of the store.
There were a lot of martial artists in the hall. As soon as they saw the two young men arguing, the crowd also went out with them.
Zhu Shaojing was standing proudly outside of the Sky-sea Pavilion. On seeing Su Mo come out, he smiled and scornfully said, “Hey, man, even though I don’t know your strength, you’ve got balls.”
If a normal martial artist heard that Zhu Shaojing was on the List of Top 100 Talents, he would run away before the fighting even started. But this young man’s attitude and calmness surprised Zhu Shaojing.
“You’re also brave and fearless,” Su Mo said indifferently.
“Fearless?”
Zhu Shaojing snorted at Su Mo’s words. “You know, I didn’t even use 30% of my strength. If I attack you with all of my strength, you will certainly die.”
Zhu Shaojing raised his head slightly, hoping to see the fear on Su Mo’s face. But Su Mo, who still looked very calm, disappointed him.
“Do you want to fight or not? If not, I’m going to leave,” Su Mo answered him without any facial expression as if he did not care about Zhu Shaojing’s challenge at all.
“How arrogant!”
Su Mo’s indifference irritated Zhu Shaojing. He said in anger, “I’ll let you see the real strength of a martial artist on the List of Top 100 Talents. I’ll teach you a lesson.”
Having said that, Zhu Shaojing calmly motivated his power. Meanwhile, the Genuine Vitality in his body surged up and his long robe blew in the windless air.
“How many moves do you think the boy can withstand?”
“I’m afraid not even one!”
“Well, this guy seems very confident of his strength, so his power may be beyond our imagination. I’ll guess five or six moves!”
“The power to fight against a talent at a higher level? Zho Shaojing has great power as well! This guy is too young. You know, young people are always fearless.” The crowd was discussing it in low voices.

All of a sudden, the surging palm force formed a black peak, which was over 10 meters high, with great power that was quickly moving toward Su Mo.

“Excellent! He’s definitely a genius on the List of Top 100 Talents!” Everyone was shocked and praising Zhu Shaojing’s strength.
The peak of palm force was very overwhelming as it quickly moved right above Su Mo’s head and suddenly descended on him.
“Good job!” Su Mo could not help praising him as well. “This strike has the real power of a genius on the List of Top 100 Talents.”
When people thought Su Mo would be squashed by the peak, he fought back.
Suddenly, Su Mo released a golden light. Also, the radiant Spirit-slayer Sword clanged out of its sheath and directly struck at the peak.
Clang!
When the sword struck the peak, it first gave off a loud clang, and then the peak immediately collapsed.
Powerful Qi rolled out from all sides, resulting in a vigorous wave rippling hundreds of meters away. Su Mo, however, stood still.
“He did it! He withstood the attack!”
“This young man is something.”
“Excellent! He can block Ferocious Palm of Mount Tianshan from Zhu Shaojing. He’s a good martial artist.”
The audience burst into an uproar. “This young man must have a profound Kung Fu foundation, so he is quite confident and fearless.”
Zhu Shaojing furrowed his brows while his expression turned solemn. It was unexpected that Su Mo could resist his Ferocious Palm of Mount Tianshan.
Zhu Shaojing had used at least 80% of his strength, enough to kill a martial artist at Lv 4 True Spirit Realm. But now, he had not even hurt a guy at Lv 2 True Spirit Realm. He felt a little embarrassed.
“Young man, no wonder you’re so arrogant. You do have some strength!”
Zhu Shaojing said in a low voice, “Next, I’ll put all of my strength into my fist. If you can successfully withstand it, I’ll let you go.”
Zhu Shaojing decided to try his best to attack Su Mo. If he still could not defeat this young man, then he would have to give up.
Su Mo scoffed sarcastically. “I’m too arrogant?” He had only visited the store to buy some Beast Souls, but Zhu Shaojing insisted on stealing his Beast Souls and censured him for being arrogant.
Su Mo did not say anything, but just silently looked at his opponent. Regardless of how powerful Zhu Shaojing was, he did not fear him.
“Nine Spiral Killers of Mount Tianshan!”
Zhu Shaojing suddenly roared and then sent out nine palms, which formed nine higher peaks than before. The nine peaks circled and were rotating toward Su Mo. They connected with each other and formed into a simple killing array, which multiplied the attacking power.
As soon as he saw Zhu Shaojing’s threatening attack, Su Mo looked a little serious because the power of the nine peaks was enough to defeat a martial artist at Early Lv 5 True Spirit Realm.
“Break!”
Before the nine peaks approached him, Su Mo shouted and raised the nine Spiritual Spirals in his body. Simultaneously, his Spirit-slayer Sword shone again and chopped at the peaks.
“Wind Roaring in the Sky!”
The wind howled in a flash and the Sword Qi formed a hurricane. Then, its radiance blended into the wind before disappearing and the wind collided with the nine peaks instantaneously.
“Boom! Boom! Boom!”
With an explosive sound, the nine peaks disappeared, while the wind howled and the ground cracked.
When the wind blew the nearby Sky-sea Pavilion’s hall, it shined. Suddenly, a giant air shield emerged.
“Oh no!”
“Get back!”
The crowd became panicked and they quickly retreated.
Some of the martial artists who were not yet in the True Spirit Realm were immediately blown away.
“How can you be so powerful?” Zhu Shaojing was stunned. He had released all his strength, but he had not defeated this anybody at Lv 2 True Spirit Realm.
After meditating for a while, Zhu Shaojing knew that he could not beat this young man today and had to let him go.
“Young man, count yourself lucky today. The next time I see you, I’ll not let you off!”
After speaking those threatening words, Zhu Shaojing turned around to leave. He, a genius on the List of Top 100 Talents, could not kill a martial artist at Lv 2 True Spirit Realm. Zhu Shaojing felt a bit awkward and did not want to stay here.
“Did I say that I’d let you go?” That cold voice came from Su Mo.
“I want to leave. How dare you try to stop me!” Zhu Shaojing turned back toward Su Mo, whose eyes were full of hostility.
“I’ve taken two of your moves. Do you want to run away without taking a move of mine?” said Su Mo indifferently.
The crowd, who was watching them at a distance, felt very surprised. “This young man is preparing to counterattack Zhu Shaojing, the genius on the List of Top 100 Talents?”
Zhu Shaojing’s lips curled into a smile and he scornfully said, “One move? I’ll take 100 of your moves without even blinking.”
Although Zhu Shaojing could not defeat Su Mo, he did not believe that Su Mo could defeat him either because, in his eyes, their strength was very much the same.
