Two men strode towards the martial practice field.
They stood before the crowd.
“We’ll soon be having a war and yet you’re only concerned about settling your personal feud?”
The middle-aged man in brocade robe looked reproachfully at Shi Long and Su Mo and said, “Since you’ve so much energy, I hope you can use it on the battlefield and not on bringing disgrace to the four sects.”
Su Mo and Shi Long were sheepish when reproached by him.
“Well, let me introduce myself!”
The man in the brocade robe looked at the crowd and loudly said, “My name is Fang Xiao and I’m the city governor of Guanwu City. This person beside me is the City General, General Yuan Zhan.”
“General Yuan shall now update you on the current situation!”
Having said this, he stepped back. The other man scanned through the whole martial practice field.
With just a glance, he knew the cultivation and strength of each of the disciples of the four sects.
There were three from the Cloudsword Sect, whose cultivation had reached the Lv 6 Spiritual Martial Realm.
17 of them had reached the Lv 5 Spiritual Martial Realm. There were five each from the Sky Yuan Sect and the Scorching Sun Sect.
Four were from the Cloudsword Sect and three were from Gale Island.
Furthermore, there were more than 60 disciples at the Lv 4.
The rest of them were either at the Lv 3 or lower.
The man in armor looked grave as he spoke to the crowd.
“We’ve received news that the army of Ironforest Country has left its camp and is heading towards Guanwu City. It’ll be reaching the City in six hours.
“The emperor has ordered me to lead our army and protect Guanwu City. Even if it means giving up our lives, we must not allow anyone from Ironforest Country to step into Skymoon Country.

Yuan Zhan’s voice was thunderous, cold, firm, deadly and without emotion.
Hearing his voice, Su Mo was sure that Yuan Zhan was the one who had stopped Shi Long earlier.

Su Mo and his friends went back to their abode.

Su Mo was stunned. He had heard that the Black Scale Army was one of the most powerful armies in Skymoon Country. Even the soldiers of the lowest rank were at the Lv 9 Qi Cultivation Realm.
