Seeing Jun Tianyun’s body falling, Luciel didn’t show any change in expression.
” Hmph, You might have escaped this blow, but you can’t run away. I have sealed the entire domain.”
” I am asking you again, surrender, and you shall leave. You have the potential to serve before the Heavenly Lord.”
” You can be a true angel of the lord, doing his bidding!”
” You aren’t not coming out? Then, I will find you myself.”
His eyes glowed with an intensity of abyssal flames as a demonic aura erupted around him. However, at the same time, the reality around him twisted, clouding his sense.
” Damn it, This is the power of that old ghost. I should have killed him a long ago!” Luciel cursed as he realized it was the illusion of Pale Bone Ghost King.
” You think you will be able to do something by slowing me?” Luciel’s snarl rang across the sky.
” Very well, I shall show you how pathetic your attempt is.”
Turning into a black pillar of flame, he descended from the sky, plunging the ground with his halberd.
*BOOOOM BOOOM! BOOOOOOOOOOM!*
The ground shattered like someone crushing a cookie. Crumbles flew across like a tsunami of stones and mud, a crater formed with its depth unknown.
However, Jun Tianyun’s array formation also blazed with magical seals and runic symbols. It suppressed the impact, making the destruction smaller.
Moreover, it created more and more spatial layers, creating a maze made up of spatial rifts to slow down Luciel.
But Luciel’s strength was no joke, his power of destruction wiping out everything on his path.
However, he was getting more and more annoyed as he realized some illusions could even pass through his divine gaze.
” This bastard…I will rip apart his body and flay his soul in holy fire.” Luciel snorted as he swung his halberd, covered with pitch black lightning.
It was truly an apocalypse in the Nether Realm.

Jun Tianyun was sitting at the center of the palace of Pale Bone Ghost King, at the center of the formation. He didn’t mind the mocking sound of the remnant spirit of his divine core.
” Well, I don’t think I can wait till his Radiant Sacrifice effect is over. Even then, He is way too overpowered.” Jun Tianyun sighed.
” Sister Qingyao, any insight?”
” That’s the power of destruction. He can use it freel.” Su Qingyao replied with nostalgia. ” Hmm, Even back in my world, the Grand Dao of Destruction is something very hard to comprehend.”
” A true emperor with the pinnacle of Grand Dao of Destruction could simply erase a continent with his breath. Nothing can stop it.”
Jun Tianyun couldn’t help but become annoyed. ” Doesn’t that mean I am just sitting here for nothing? Should I just wait for my death?”
” My divine authorities aren’t combat oriented, not at least for now. Just dodging his attack is taking a huge amount of divine energy!”
After Jun Tianyun recovered his power, he managed to uncover the secrets of his divine authority. One of the powers he learned from the Throne of Fate was Twisted Probability.
Using his Fortune Points, he could use the power to manipulate the probability of something happening. The more the situation aligns, the more he would be able to change the future.
Hence, he used the patial rifts as mirrors and changed the probability of getting hit by Luciel’s attack into Luciel getting hurt by counter attack instead.
However, just for that slight damage to Luciel, Jun Tianyn burned a hundred thousand Fortune Points. The gap in strength between them is too big.
‘ I have also mastered the use of the Wheel of Fortune. However, to cast misfortune of such degree that could hurt Luciel would be very difficult for me unless I find that chance to do it.”
” Mana is useless, physical ability is useless too. I don’t even have time to craft a weapon to hurt a divinity.” Jun Tianyun murmured.
Jun Tianyun only survived the attack of Luciel right now because he used probability manipulation and transferred the energy of destruction to the undying trait of the Pale Bone Ghost King, giving him an escape.
However, some threads of the destructive energy still remained in his body, making him use his Wood and Water energy to cleanse it.
” The opposite of destruction is creation. If you master the art of creation, you can defeat him.” Su Qingyao sighed. ” Alas, your Chaos Devouring True Body is still in infancy.”
” But, I did notice something.”
” What is it?” Jun Tianyun’s ears perked up.
” Luciel’s power wasn’t completely the trait of destruction. It contained evil energy along with destruction energy.”
” As long as you can counter the evil energy, you will be able to cut off his strength by half.”
Jun Tianyun gave a wry smile when he heard that. If Luciel was only a normal demon king, Jun Tianyun could have simply used Holy Magic along with Lightning Magic against his evil energy.
However, the problem was…Luciel also had the blessings of Holy Energy. How can you defeat evil energy with holy energy when the evil energy has immunity to holy energy?
The palace walls trembled as Jun Tianyun sat cross legged with closed eyes.
‘ No, let’s think for a moment. Luciel isn’t someone who is invincible.’
‘ Luciel’s body is covered with both gold and black color. The Eyes of Fortune will never lie. That means I have the chance to defeat him.’
‘ If I think… Barry Burton should have defeated him in the future, right? If he could do it, why can’t I?’

The palace wall trembled once again. Jun Tianyun could feel the array formation outside of the palace was already half destroyed.
Suddenly, he recalled something as he pulled out the pendant of Barry Burton. Looking at the sword pendant, he saw small letters engraved on it.

‘ Righteousness Shall Defeat the Evil…’ Jun Tianyun murmured as he realized something.
Yes, it didn’t say Holy shall defeat the Evil, it was righteousness!
Righteousness is something different than all elemental energy, all physical strength; it’s something unique, yet the bane of evil!

Jun Tianyun got up with a grin, a murderous glow in his eyes.

Luciel stood before the palace of the Pale Bone Ghost King, most of the soldiers were dead, while the high ranking specters escaped the moment everything started.
Though, only a small amount of them managed to escape the destruction range of gods’ battle.
Suddenly, Luciel felt an energy wave as he turned around. He saw the pillars engraved with magic circles flying across the sky. Strange enough, the target wasn’t him.
” Hmph! You think you can distract me with this?”
” Why not?”
Luciel’s eyes squinted as he saw a portal opening. Jun Tianyun walked outside in his usual gait.
” So, You finally chose to walk out?” Luciel grinned. ” Not afraid of death, huh?”
” Indeed, I believe it’s time to end this.” Jun Tianyun’s expression was placid as he raised his hands.
Luciel’s eyes squinted as he saw three things floating above Jun Tianyun’s head. A pulsing blob of corrupted blood, a diamond that looked like it trapped thousands of souls, and a crystal that looked like the eye of a beast.
” Hahaha, You think the divine cores are some medicines? Go ahead, absorb them. I don’t even need to lift a finger to kill you.” Luciel snorted.
” No, I am not going to absorb them. However, I am going to use them.”
Suddenly, the ground trembled as flesh and blood started to converge around Jun Tianyun. The destroyed city turned into a gigantic array, made up of flesh and blood.
” YOU BASTARD!”
Luciel had an ominous feeling as he swung his halberd.
” Spatial Lock! The Rain of Destruction!”
Suddenly, the sky darkened as countless weapons made up of evil destructive energy rained down on Jun Tianyun.
” With three divine cores as payment, I summon a divinity.”
Jun Tianyun’s eyes flashed with nine colored brilliance as he became the center of the array formation.
” The flesh and blood of millions, the divine energy of these cores, I request exchange of fate!”
