The blinding radiance was like a pillar of light descending from sky, making the demons cower in fear. Duke Bemoth’s expression turned dark as he saw the figure amidst the burning radiance.
” To think someone dared to barge into nether realm. How foolish!”
Duke Bemoth got up as he walked to the figure. A strong demonic aura erupted from his body, almost making the air ripple around him.
” You are a Duke rank demon, Huh?” The figure spoke in slight amusement. ” Speak, Demon. What are you proficient in? Magic? Or combat?”
Duke Bemoth snorted as he raised his finger. ” Hmph, For a bug like you, I don’t need to use my magic.”
*KRREEEEEEEEEE*
A purple orb appeared before his fingertip as it suddenly expanded. A beam of light erupted from that orb, charging towards that figure of light.
*BOOOM!*
For a moment, the beam of purple covered the figure, only vanish into mist the next moment.
” Not bad. Projecting your demon energy into attack. Alas, it’s too basic.”
The light faded as the figure of a handsome human appeared. White robe shimmering like the purest pearl, with golden borders and blue imprints of vines and flowers gives it an illusion of an imperial porcelain vase.
Eyes were as bright as luminous stars, a chaos of multiple colors made it look vibrant yet intimidating. A face that excludes divinity, confidence, and unparalleled superiority…
Who else could it be, other than Jun Tianyun?
” Well, Since you said you are good in magic, allow me to show some of my tricks too.”
Jun Tianyun raised his finger as an intricate magic circle appeared in the air. The magic circle was in pitch black color, giving off aura of night and darkness.
” Darkness? You are a dark magician?” Duke Bemoth was stunned. He thought Jun Tianyun would be a part of Radiant Church due to his appearance.
Suddenly, the simple magic circle, with one circle and one hexagon, suddenly expanded, turning into an intricate cycle of spinning magical runes.
” Nightfall!”
*WHOOOSH!*
Suddenly, Duke Bemoth felt like a gentle breeze blew on his face. And the next moment, he found himself in darkness. It wasn’t like he had gotten blind or couldn’t see.
He simply felt like standing in a void, isolated from the world. Other than him, there was nothing around him, other than the pitch-black darkness.
A sudden chill spread from his heart he looked around,
” BASTARD! YOU DARE TO TRAP ME IN ILLUSION!”
A roar filled with demonic energy erupted from Duke Bemoth’s mouth,
However, he felt even more terrified as he realized nothing happened. No echo of his roar, no response of his effort to use his magical eyes to break the illusion, nothing at all

Suddenly, Duke Bemoth felt a wave on his face before a radiance blinded his eyes. Squinting, he looked at his surroundings, the reality had returned.
Alas, all he saw was a battlefield filled with torn corpses, he was the only living being standing there.
The army of demons and monsters who were standing here a moment ago, all of them kay as corpses without a complete body.
” Wh-What have you done?”
” Me?” Jun Tianyun shrugged. ” While you were just standing still, I was experimenting with my new magical techniques.”
” I mean, You didn’t make any effort to stop me. So, I will take it as you consent to my action?”
” You bastard…”
Duke Bemoth clenched his fist as a demonic aura ruptured from his body like a storm.
” I don’t know who you are. But I will make sure to grind your bones and scatter on my soldiers.”
Duke Bemoth held a gigantic mace, which seemed to be forged from dark iron and crystal spikes on it. It radiated a bloody aura as if it crushed thousands and thousands of beings into pulp.
Jun Tianyun sighed, shaking his head in a slight disappointment. ” Haah, Unfortunately, I can’t grant you this request.”
” But be grateful, I am allowing you to rest along with your soldiers.”
Suddenly, magical circles appeared around Duke Bemoth’s figure as they suddenly broke and fused into a giant circle.
” You think you can stop me with your puny magic!”
But alas, Duke Bemoth thought it wrong.
” Try this, Astral Wind!”
*WHOOOSH!*
Duke Bemoth suddenly felt the space around him turn rigid. It was as if the formless wind turned into a treacherous bog.
The moment Jun Tianyun snapped his fingers, the space around Duke Bemoth ripped apart as blades made up of misty wind appeared.
*BANG! BANG! BANG!*
As the misty wind blades swirled around Duke Bemoth, he swung his mace to block them. However, the more he tried to block them, the more he realized something.
He wasn’t blocking the blades, he was simply slowing them down. His crystal spike mace got chipped more and more as he tried to block them.
” Alright, I have played enough. I should go.”
Jun Tianyun turned around as he looked at the castle from distance.
The moment he vanished, the blades suddenly churned Duke Bemoth, tearing him into pieces.
He didn’t even have a chance to defend himself before turning into minced meat.
” Hmm? Another powerful force has entered the nether realm. Who could it be?”
On a throne sat a figure, frail and elongated like a malnourished living being. His eyes were covered with an eye mask, with a single star in the middle.
” Hmm, Who could it be? Did those Radiant Church bastards manage to summon an angel?”
On the throne sat the Pale Bone Ghost King, one of the four kings of the nether realm.
” Nope, It’s just a human who came to say hello.”
” ?!!!”
Pale Bone Ghost King’s body turned into mist as he vanished from his throne.
” Which bastard is trying to sneak attack me?” His voice echoed with a ghastly chill as his figure formed right on the floor.
Suddenly, several silver spears appeared out of thin air, shooting toward Pale Bone Ghost King like arrows.
” Hmph! Reveal yourself!”
The Pale Bone Ghost King stood emotionlessly, the silver spears phased through his body as if they were passed through the mist, impalling on the ground without hitting his body.
*RAAH! RAAAAH!*
” Bastard, To think you killed my subordinates outside!” Pale Bone Ghost King hissed. With his divine sense, he realized why no guards came even though his malicious aura erupted.
It was because they had been killed outside. And they were killed so secretly that even Pale Bone Ghost King didn’t notice till he used his divine sense!
” Has that old hag finally lost it? Did she send you?” Pale Bone Ghosy King snorted as he waved his hand, making a pitch black staff appear.
The staff looked like it was made from pitch black twisted root of some giant old tree, with a green gem trapped on the crown of the staff.
Suddenly, the entire throne room turned silent as the wandering specters turned into pitch black mist, trapping the whole room and turning it into a sealed domain
” Whoa, No need to cast the revelation spell. I am showing myself.”
Pale Bone Ghost King snorted as he saw Jun Tianyun appear before him as he sauntered around his throne.
” Well, You might be thinking who am I, or how I got here?” Jun Tianyun sat on the throne and leaned back with a relaxed face.
” Oh wait, Maybe you are fuming because I sat on your throne?”
” Good! Very good! You have successfully angered me!” Pale Bone Ghost King laughed in a cold voice.
” Your soul, I will have some delicacy today.”
Suddenly, a dagger appeared right before the Pale Bone Ghost King. But he merely laughed as it passed through him.
” Hahaha! Foolish brat! You are still this ignorant?” He sneered. ” My body is immortal! No physical item can harm me, no spiritual art can surpass me!”
Jun Tianyun nodded. ” I know that, in your void ghost state, you are simply an untouchable cockroach.”
” But what will happen if the cockroach loses its trait of evasion?”
Pale Bone Ghost King frowned as he looked at Jun Tianyun’s grin. A strange foreboding appeared in his heart.
” Hmph! Let’s see how you are going to talk after this!”
*ROAR! ROAR! ROAR!*
Vengeful spirits erupted like shadow serpents as they charged towards Jun Tianyun. However, with a flicker of Jun Tianyun’s fingers, they vanished into mist.
” Well, Rather than attacking me, why don’t you check where you are standing?”
Pale Bone King’s expression changed when he looked below. The silver spears impaled on the ground turned hazy as they emitted a strange light.
” This…This is a magic formation?! When did you…”
” Dome of Thundering Prison!”

Suddenly, golden lightning crackled as the spears turned into chains of lightning arcs. But instead of attacking the Pale Bone Ghost King, it simply created a barrier around him.
” Hmph! You think these puny arcs of lightning can harm me?” Pale Bone Ghost King snorted as he saw Jun Tianyun throwing another dagger at him.
But his expression turned wide as he looked at his chest, seeing the dagger stabbing into his body.
” Yeah, This can’t harm you at all.” Jun Tianyun vanished from the throne as he appeared right before the Pale Bone Ghost King.
” But it can sure restrain your trait of void ghost.”
