Thousands of years ago, a great cataclysm stuck the planet. Monstrous beings from other invaded the Blue Cloud Star and spread destruction.
It all started from a meteor shower, that created a strange energy and mutated the beings of the earth. Such superficial knowledge was known to everyone, thought a vast number of people still deny its claim.
After the cataclysm, the civilization almost had to start from scratch. However, they progressed much more rapidly than the previous civilization, quickly crossing the era of feudalism and arriving into the modern era.
However, what was hidden from the public, was the origin of meteor shower and the monstrous beings.
The continents and oceans of the Blue Cloud Star on the map is in fact, not the entirety of the planet. A different dimension exists along with the human world of Blue Cloud Star.
Both dimensions overlapped on each other perfectly, but thick enough to make no one notice at all.
The existence of this dimension was already known to ancient people. They named it as the Nether Realm.
The four inhabitants of the Nether Realm are Monsters, Beasts, Ghosts, and Demons.
However, people put all of them under the umbrella term of Demon.
After the first cataclysm, both the human world and the nether realm entered into a pact, sealing off the borders of the dimensions. However, the beings of the nether realm were inherently superior and found ways to influence the human world.
The spatial realms were strictly guarded from the eyes of the general public, as they were both filled with resources and susceptible to invasion of the nether realm.
Sacrifices and summoning methods, with enough energy, they could enter the human side of Blue Cloud Star. However, below the rank noble beings of the nether realm couldn’t sense a summoning, much less respond to it.
However, the beings of the nether realm could at least be called inhabitants of Blue Cloud Stars. But there were other beings of outer dimensions, who also managed to bring changes in the world.
The Church of Radiance was one of them, as they followed the God of Radiance. Similarly, old myths and legends also had some truth in them, though their powers were long buried in history.
Those who managed to gain such powers, they created their own factions and kept the secrets well guarded.
Be it the hidden sects, the secret military units, guilds that operated as conglomerates, cults, and noble houses, they all kept the knowledge hidden.
The Olympus Guild of Federal State Nation is considered the top guild across the world. Their leader, code name Zeus, was one of the very few SS rank Mutant with an ancient bloodline that gives him the ability to wield lightning. Similarly, the other members of the Olympus Guild have ancient powers of the deities of Olympus.
However, even Zeus at the moment looked at the sky with a grave face.
The beings of the nether realm are divided into five ranks. Soldiers, Nobles, Marquis, Duke, and King. General Kakhaz and Nephier could be considered as Half step into Duke Rank.
It took five main members of Guild of Olympus along with a thousand superhumans to defeat two of them.
But if a King rank being gets summoned, it would be total annihilation.
” Damn it! To think they planned it from the beginning!” Selene cursed under her breath.
Zeus landed on his feet as he looked at the sky with a grave expression.
” Everyone stay alert. If a Demon King is really summoned, I will try to hold it back. In the meantime, everyone just focus on escaping.” He spoke in a serious voice.
” Elder Brother, I won’t go.” Snorting loudly, Ares held his blazing axe. ” I will fight alongside you.
Before Zeus could say anything, the beam of light suddenly broke apart, as if they were shattered by an invisible force.
” Wh-What’s happening?”
” The summoning…” Selene mumbled. ” The summoning has been broken by an invisible force. That’s…That should be impossible…”
Zeus frowned when he heard that. ” Did any Magic Towers take action?”
” I don’t know.”
Suddenly, Selene’s earpiece flashed as she quickly turned it on.
” What? You have received that message again?”
Ares looked at Selene with intrigue, ” What happened?”
” The mysterious person has sent a message again.” Selene looked at everyone.
” The message said that no Duke rank or above shall appear in human world. So, we can focus on killing the smaller demons.”
” What? Are you telling the truth?”
“If that’s the case, we can spread out even more and cover even more spatial outbreaks!”
Ares frowned when he heard that. ” What if it’s a trap? If we divide our forces and…”
Selene shook her head as she looked at the sky. ” No, I don’t think so. At least with my clairvoyance, I am seeing the clouds of doom fading a little.”
” Does that mean the situation is under control?”
” No, It’s just that the odds increased in our favor, but not absolute,” Selene murmured as she adjusted herself.

Su Qingyao was stunned as she couldn’t understand what Jun Tianyun was talking with the World Law. But she knew how the World Law helped the entire western region of Blue Cloud Star to avoid a disaster.
Shi Zhen, Jun Tianyun’s ultimate quantum powered Ai, was long taken over by the World Law. Using it, she managed to infiltrate into the internet, and then paved her way into all database across the web, be it encrypted or not.
Before the spatial outbreaks happened, she used her power to solidify the dimensional barrier between the human world and the nether realm.
However, the World Law couldn’t entirely stop the outbreaks. Hence, she created artificially weakened barriers, forcing the beings of the nether realm to enter the human world through only a few specific gates.
And after that, she passed the information to the military of Federal State Nation’s army, allowing them to organize and prepare for it in advance.
Not to mention, she also suppressed the strength of the beings of nether realm, giving an advantage to the humans.
Alas, she couldn’t affect those who are summoned by Dark Pentagram or similar people, as they performed sacrifices and summoning for the beings of nether realm.
” Young Master, Are you…”

Away from the raging army of humanoid monsters, a man with a face of a humanoid snake sat under the shade of an umbrella.
Even sitting, he was above twelve feet, wearing a sophisticated robe made from unknown glittering fur. A pale silver crown with six spikes adorned his head.
” Hm? Kakhaz and Nephier got killed?” Duke Bemoth raised his brows. ” To think humans managed to kill two generals of His Majesty’s army.”
” Anyway, I already thought something was odd. With their death as a sacrifice, I can finally summon myself into the human world.”
A pitch black magic circle appeared around Duke Belmoth as his figure started to blur.
However, before he could teleport, the magic circle shattered.
” Not so fast, Duke. You need to play with me first.”
The crimson cloud of the nether realm parted as a radian figure descended.
