Sweat trickled down from Barry’s forehead when he heard Jun Tianyun’s words. It felt like someone slowly poking needles in his heart.
He wanted to retort, but his throat felt parched from the nervousness and fear.
” Well, Don’t be too sacred.” Jun Tianyun patted his shoulder with a bright smile.

With a snap, he snatched the sword locket from his neck.
” No…Not that…” Barry tried to yell, but his voice was low.
” Noisy. I am already sparing you. Yet you are trying to be an idiot.” Jun Tianyun shook his head.
As he walked towards the coffin, He found a glowing orb there.
This orb was the one he gave to the lich, the condensation of Destiny Points.
Everything was Jun Tianyun’s plan from the beginning.

” Its…It’s you, My Lord!” The Lich spoke in an ecstatic voice. ” I am sorry that you have seen in this state.”
” Damn, You survived that attack? How?” This time, even Jun Tianyun was surprised.
” Last night, I suddenly had a thought. What if I get into a treacherous scheme again and die?” The Lich spoke in a proud voice.
“Therefore, I separated a part of my soul and hid it inside a skeleton soldier. So, even if I died, I could resurrect given enough sacrifices.”
Jun Tianyun was speechless when he heard that.

Suddenly, Jun Tianyun understood why the orb of destiny was so small.
‘ Looks like that pile of bone managed to get some enlightenment, reducing some destiny from this orb. Lucky bastard.’ Jun Tianyun sighed in his heart.

The skull floated as it slowly turned into a small skeleton. Running towards Jun Tianyun, he knelt before him.

” You want to work under me?” Jun Tianyun was surprised. ” I thought you were too prideful for that.”
” No, I am not. I feel like there will be a great opportunity for me if I work for you.” The lich spoke.
Jun Tianyun rubbed his chin as he nodded. With a snap of his fingers, a contract appeared before him.
” Very well, If you insist, check this. If you agree, sign this contract.”
The Dark Lich looked at the contract and saw the conditions. Other than complete loyalty, other conditions in the contract were pretty lax.
Dark flames erupted from its fingers as it pressed it on the contract. A black fingerprint appeared on the contract as it vanished.
‘ This… I feel like a part of my soul was tied in this contract. This is no less than rank six Weight of Promise spell.’
‘ No, at least I can dispel that spell with some means. But this contract… I feel like if I violate them, I will die without a soul.’ The lich shuddered as it looked at Jun Tianyun.
Suddenly, his respect towards him increased by many folds.
” Since you are my servant now, I will give you my first command.” Jun Tianyun pointed at Barry.
” Make him into an obedient dog. But… Don’t restrict his thoughts.”
” Ah, A conscious slave. I used to torture people like that.” The lich gave a thumbs up to Jun Tianyun as it rushed towards Bary.
With a flick, a dark seal appeared on Barry’s chest.
” Wh-What have you done?” Barry felt a burning pain in his chest as he hissed out.
” From now, You can’t speak or do anything against my lord here. If you do…You will feel that death is too much of a mercy.” The lich spoke in an ominous voice.
” Your strength is weak. There are quite some materials here. Use them to recover.”
Other than Barry, there were quite some alive yet injured people lying in the room. The lich’s eyes shone when he heard that.
” Thank you, My Lord. I will do it instantly.”
” After recovering, bring out Barry and send him home safely.” Jun Tianyun ordered.
” And Barry, If you were bored, entertain yourself with this.”
Barry saw Jun Tianyun vanishing after dropping a phone before him.
When he opened the phone, his eyes almost bulged out.
