Jun Tianyun raised his head as he looked at Su Qingyao, standing beside him.
Su Qingyao felt her heart aching when she saw the face of Jun Tianyun.
From the moment she met him, she walked with Jun Tianyun in all his fortune and tribulations.
Sure, Jun Tianyun had been angry, sad, annoyed and helpless. However, She had never seen her in such despair like this.
” AHHHHHHH!”
Jun Tianyun panted as he held Sayu tightly in his embrace. Suddenly, he felt Su Qingyao’s palm on his shoulder.
His expression suddenly changed as he saw the color of his surroundings fading. The colorful world suddenly turned pale and colorless.
Everyone paused as they stood still as if the time had stopped.
” Wh-What’s happening?” Jun Tianyun mumbled as he looked around hurriedly.
” This…Everything has stopped?”
” Is this all a hallucination? Am I dreaming?”
Jun Tianyun’s eyes sparked with a silver hope as he turned around, holding Su Qingyao’s leg.
” Si-Sister Qingyao! This is just a dream, right? Sayu…Sayu is safe, RIGHT?!”
” No, This is not a dream, Jun Tianyun.” Su Qingyao replied sadly. ” This is the future, a future which soon going to happen.”
” This is the simulation of your current event. If everything progresses like this, it’s inevitable to happen.”
Suddenly, everything slowly started to move but moving backward. It was like someone rewinding a video.
Jun Tianyun found himself standing before the fallen lord. It was a few minutes earlier when he grabbed him and forced him to cast his resurrection spell in Sayu.
” Th-This?! This is future sight?” Jun Tianyun clenched his fist. ” Doesn’t that mean I can change it now?”
” I…I just need to kill that fucker fast, Right? Or… I can sever his fate from Sayu, right? I already did that, didn’t I?”
Using the power of fortune, he can make something happen, or won’t let something happen which was supposed to happen.
However, it was a rather superficial level of power that consumed an enormous amount of divine energy.
Using that, Jun Tianyun fought with the fallen lord. Every time the fallen lord tried to use the eight cursed bronze pillars, Jun Tianyun used his power of fate.
For current Jun Tianyun, it was simply impossible to take all the chance from the fallen lord to activate the bronze pillar. However, Jun Tianyun can certainly delay the chances of the activation if he can’t stop it.

” Fuck you, Su Qingyao! Why didn’t you tell me earlier?” Jun Tianyun shouted as he wiped his tears.
” If you had spoken to me earlier, I would have already started this plan.”

Su Qingyao was stunned for a moment before a resplendent smile spread on her face.
Suddenly, Jun Tianyun felt the reality around him shifting as a golden panel appeared before him.

The panel vanished as Jun Tianyun found himself sitting on the Throne of Fate. The Wheel of Destiny appeared behind him like a halo as the Altar of Heaven shone with a bright radiance.
Jun Tianyun clenched his fist as he felt his soul was being crushed under a tremendous power. Blood began to pour from his seven orifices, making him unable to keep his eyes open.
However, Jun Tianyun struggled. He struggled hard. And finally, he saw a black thread before him.
He saw the thread covered with an ominous and abyssal essence, connecting Sayu with the True Lord of Fallen Abyss.
