The shadow escaped as the fallen lord materialized between the bronze pillars. However, at that moment, bloody tendrils shot towards him like a spiderweb, trying to capture him.
” Hmph! You think you alone can defeat me?”
Waving his bone sword, the bloody tendrils puffed into smoke. The remaining blood became corrupted instantly as the rotting stretched back to the source of the blood.
However, before it could affect the caster, the blood fell on the ground, cutting off the connection.
Suddenly, the fallen lord’s eye narrowed as he saw the shadow underneath his rippling as several spikes shot from his own shadows.
Stomping his feet, he crushed them, suppressing the power which was controlling his shadow. However, in that fraction of the moment, a sword ray reached his neck, covered with sparkling silver starlight.
Hand covered in dark scales, the fallen lord caught it, trying to minimize the attack.
*PSSSS!*
The acidic blood splattered as all of his finger were severed, leading a deep gush of wound on his palm.
” BASTARD!”
The bronze pillars trembled as the crimson radiance shone from the eight pillars. However, as they were about to fire out, they suddenly paused.
The fallen lord was stunned as he couldn’t understand what just happened.
The sacrificial pillars held the life thread of all the people in the Ousei Academy. With his will, he can kill all of them and sacrifice them to gain more power.
However, even if he willed, he felt a strange power stopped him.
‘ No, It didn’t stop me! I…I just can’t find the connection!’
Suddenly, the fallen lord felt someone kicked him on his chest, sending him blasting.

Covered from head to toe in a scaled armor, only his face was visible. His eyes sparkled with hues of various colors, like a chaotic dance of liquid crystals.
The sword in his hand looked ethereal as if he wasn’t holding a sword, but a fragment of the night sky. The starlight revolved around it, making it look like a divine weapon.
” Fuck! Those bastards didn’t manage to contain you, huh?” The fallen lord laughed as he slowly got from the rubble.
” But you are too late. Hehe…You think you can save anyone now?”
Jun Tianyun simply gazed at him coldly as he vanished from his position as he appeared right before the fallen lord. His movement caused the sound barrier to explode, making the air ripple around him.
The fallen lord snorted as he stabbed out his bone sword. However, Jun Tianyun matched his sword with his Abyss of Star.
However, the chest of the fallen lord opened as it turned into a pitch black fist, punching out Jun Tianyun.
Retreating a few steps, Jun Tianyun wiped the blood from his lips. ” What a bastardly sneak attack. It’s very fitting of you.”
” Why? Thank you.”
Suddenly, the fallen lord snapped his fingers as the ground trembled. Several pairs of bone hands cracked from the ground as they tried to grab Jun Tianyun.
However, Jun Tianyun merely stomped his feet, crushing the ground beneath him, along with the bones.
But at that moment, a bone sword pierced Jun Tianyun’s chest, ripping it apart. Jun Tianyun’s eyes squinted as he realized the fallen lord instantly shifted his position with one of the bone arms.
However, as he backed away, not a single drop of blood fell from his wound, making the fallen lord baffled.
Jun Tianyun lunged forward as he stabbed the sword into the fallen lord. The fallen lord retaliated as he blocked the sword condensin a bone shield before him,
However, the next moment, the sword vanished with a sparkling starlight. The ground trembled as it instantly turned muddy, trapping the fallen lord.
“ARRRGH!”
” Bastard! Let me go!”
The fallen lord screamed as he felt Jun Tianyun’s grip was like a coil of a python, not letting him go.
The sky darkened as Jun Tianyun became a human lightning rod, striking down golden lightning, like rain.
The fallen lord roared as his rib cage moved, stabbing into Jun Tianyun’s body like thorns, However, this time, blood flew out from Jun Tianyun’s body as they turned into sharp swords made from blood, stabbing the fallen lord’s body.
The blood sizzled as it slowly corroded the fallen lord’s insides. However, Jun Tianyun also felt his body was rotting and covered with pus as the bones of the fallen lord eroded his body.
” Hurry up!”
” Don’t worry! I am here!”
” Fuck!” The fallen lord realized Tuba san was about to attack him. However, as he wanted to borrow the power of the bronze pillar, he suddenly felt his connection got cut off.
” Hehe! What is it, bastard?” Jun Tianyun grinned. ” Can’t feel the connection with it? Too bad… I took that opportunity from you.”
Suddenly, both of them were covered inside a dome of darkness, making their sight block.
The fallen lord’s body trembled as he saw small paw marks appearing on his body, as if a cat was stamping his body with its feet with ink.
The paw stamps gave a sinister glint as paws made up of shadow emerged, binding the body of the fallen lord instantly.
” ARRRGH!!”
Letting out an agonizing roar, the fallen lord’s body started to tear apart from the power of those paws. His eyes shone crimson with malice.
” You think…You can kill me…like this?”
” Haha…Hahahah! HAAHAHAHHA!”
Suddenly, the cracks of his body filled with ominous radiance as the fallen lord’s body swelled.
Jun Tianyun hurriedly moved away the body of the fallen lord exploded within the black dome of light.
” ARRRGHHH!”
However, Jun Tianyun’s expression changed as he heard the scream of a girl.
” SAYU!”
Jun Tianyun appeared right before Sayu as he held her in his embrace. Her entire body filled with dark demonic tattoos as she was unconscious, shivering with terror and despair.
” The fallen lord! He is trying resurrect in her body!” Tuba San warned.
” You…You must…” Tuba san wanted to say something but she paused.
” You know what you have to do. Else, she will teleported away and transformed into the vessel of the Lord of The Fallen Abyss.”
” No…NONONONONO!”
Jun Tianyun felt his world spinning. He couldn’t see anything before him as everything was blur. Was it his tears blocking his vision? Or because his vision darkned from despair?
” I…I can’t! Sayu…Sayu is my daughter!” Jun Tianyun roared.
” I have to save her…I HAVE TO!”
However, looking at the body of Sayu which was turning ashen, Jun Tianyun felt his heart was being crushed.
” Pa…Papa… I am…Scared…”
Jun Tianyun hugged Sayuu tighter as he could see the blood seeping from her eyes and nose, slowly turning into a demonic brand on her forehead.
Looking at the grey sky, Jun Tianyun and let out a cry of rage, frustration, despair, and pain.
