Chapter 222: Redacted
Despite her 18th birthday celebration being months away, Isabella was already hard at working picking out the dress she would wear to impress her favorite fighter.
She was shopping online looking for the best, and most expensive dress that money could buy, one that she believed would make the man fall head over heels for her, entirely unaware that men seldom gave a shit about a dress or its expense as long as it looked good.
She could buy some cheap dress from China from a brand that nobody had ever heard of before and as long as it looked aesthetically pleasing to Alex, and pretty much every other man on the planet would have no complaints.
But women seldom, if ever, understood the thought process of men, and vice versa. Thus, Isabella was on the hunt for a dress that would satisfy her misunderstanding. While lying on her bed and scrolling on the internet, Isabella received a message on a messaging app from a person she had only ever met online.
The username of the person was quite literally the word “Redacted” and he or she was quick to send Isabella another bloody video of the ongoing cartel wars. There was almost a hint of condescension hidden between the line of text which preceded the video. As if this person was egging Isabella on.
“Your latest husbando strikes again… El Cucuy was spotted in Gulf territory, rescuing an unknown Zetas asset. Sorry about the lack of gore, these videos were taken from the camera of a drone. But as you can see your boy was involved in quite the murder spree.”
There were a series of short videos that were indeed taken from a bird’s-eye view which displayed Alex’s firefight with the Gulf Cartel members who he had killed in order to extract Amahle, while at the same time, switching to a separate video that was caught late at night via the drone’s infrared camera.
This video showed Alex climb out of the foxhole, with a rifle slung, and a knife in his hands as he decapitated the 17 sleeping cartel hitman who were supposed to keep him and Amahle trapped until reinforcements could arrive a few hours later.
“Thx, I’ll send you the money once I confirm this is really El Cucuy… The usual amount is good?”
The stranger on the other end of the internet was quick to type back to Isabella, confirming this was the case. Before posing an even more enticing offer to the girl.
“Yeah that’s fine… By the way, I have something else you might be interested in… Are you still interested in that fighter from Korea? Or should I say America, since he lives in Vegas now…”
Isabella’s curiosity was immediately peaked when she heard this, but remembered that the stranger on the other end was probably just going to remind her that he was currently in Mexico, thus she was quick to decline the offer.
“If you’re going to try to extort me for information, I already know think again…”
This was not exactly the response that the stranger was expecting and he or she was quick to respond to Isabella’s statement with one of confusion.
“What are you talking about?”
Isabella rolled her eyes, suspected this person was just trying to get more money out of her, thus she was quick to explain exactly what she meant.
“I already know that Alex is in Mexico. In fact, I had my father’s men bring him to me. I also happen to know which hotel he is staying at… So no I don’t need whatever information you have…”
Redacted, however, did not respond in the way that Isabella had suspected he or she would, and instead sent another message that immediately made Isabella want to flaunt her family’s wealth.
“Oh, no… Not that… For obvious reasons I didn’t think that was worth mentioning… I was going to say that I have some videos of him… Videos that were not easy to get my hands on… You could say it’s a video library…. But because it’s a library, you’re going to have to pay extra for it!”
Isabella was immediately confused about this, and was quick to ask just what kind of videos these were, and how her “friend” had gotten his or her hands on them.
“What kind of videos are we talking about exactly? And how did you get them?”
There was a single statement posted regarding the specific type of videos that redacted had access to. Along with a smug emoji, as for how she got her hands on them, this anonymous user did not say a single word about it.
“You know what kind of videos they are.”
Isabella was immediately looked around her room, to make sure nobody had intruded on her private space, before frantically typing back to Redacted with the answer that the stranger was looking for.
“How much!?!”
The user did not immediately respond. Perhaps she was calculating the proper cost of this video library, which contained every video and photo Alex had ever taken of himself with other women…
The list was extensive, but it did not include any of his heroines, as he did not feel the need to record any of them. These videos were instead those he had filmed of himself and the many random sluts he had encounters with since first appearing in this world.
But after an appropriately dramatic pause, Redacted posted the astronomical figure he or she wanted in exchange for these private videos that nobody but Alex should have access to.
“One million… And that’s in USD, not pesos! That’s my final offer…”
Isabella’s eyes nearly bulged out of her sockets. A million dollars for a video library of her favorite fighter being intimate with other women. What kind of desperate fool would pay such an extraordinary price for such a stupid prize? After all, such videos could easily be found on certain corners of the internet for free, even if they didn’t star Alex in them.
Then again, Isabella was curious… And because of this she bit her nails before looking around her room, again trying to confirm if she was all alone. She then tried to haggle with her ‘friend” but to no avail.
“One million dollars! That’s a month’s worth of allowance! How will I ever explain to daddy what I spend such money on? He would kill me if he found out what I actually bought with it! Please lower it! Even if it’s 500k, I can sweep it under the rug! But a million is too much!”
However Redacted was not budging. He or she knew exactly how much Isabella was worth, and what her actual identity was. Thus, this anonymous stranger had immediately denied Isabella’s poor attempts to haggle.
“Nope… 1 million, like I said that’s my one and only offer… If not, I’m afraid I’m just going to have to delete these, as I know he is not the type of man to ever fall for blackmail. Not to mention getting on the bad side of a psycho like that is not something a wise person would do… Seriously… What he did to his stepfather, and the man’s family? That was cold-blooded…”
This peaked Isabella’s curiosity even further, and as a result she couldn’t help but accept the price, but in exchange she made one final demand that she also wouldn’t budge on.
“Fine! One million for the collection! But only if you tell me what exactly Alex did that would cause to you speak about him in such a manner!”
Isabella then transferred the requested funds before waiting for a response.
Immediately a large listing of videos were sent to Isabella via the private chat which were indeed as promised, and at the end of their posting, Redacted posted a smug emoji and a thank-you message followed by what Alex had done.
“As always, it has been a pleasure doing business with you my little princess! As for what Alex did, he murdered his stepfather… You remember that shooting at that was all over the news? Alex was the one who killed all those men, including his stepfather.
Then, because the moron’s family threatened Alex, the guy hired some professional killers, whose names I would not dare speak, to murder his stepfather’s entire extended family…. Down to the last woman and child…
It was some serious medieval blood feud type shit that you would only see in one of those historical dramas… So, if he finds out you have these videos, and gets angry, I’m not responsible for that… Anyway, later princess, I got some shit to do. I’ll contact you when I know more about your other favorite psycho.”
After saying this, the user’s profile went invisible, and Isabella was left alone with her thoughts. Her newfound desire for Alex only increased, which was something that the man saw in real time when her affection levels increased without him doing anything.
