Chapter 213: Appeasing a Princess
Isabella was pouting while laying on her stomach. She was resting on her bed impatiently, waiting for her brother to bring her flowers in recompense for his earlier misdeeds. Though for whatever reason he had flown out to Mexico City to purchase them, he was, in her honest opinion, taking far too long. And thus she had decided to bug him.
Around the rest of the cartel, Isabella put up the front of a sadistic bitch, but around her elder half-brother she acted like an adorable little sister, one that he couldn’t help but spoil. In truth, her actual personality was neither of these two things, but she had never revealed her actual face to anyone before.
Angel was obviously pissed off about something, because he quickly snapped at the girl for her, interrupting his brooding time.
“God fucking dammit Isabella! I’m working on it! But It’s going to be awhile before I can fly back to the compound. For fuck’s sake, can’t you be more patient?”
This harsh tone and vicious remark caused the girl to visibly pout, though on the inside she was extremely angry at her elder half brother for treating her like a nuisance. Still, for the sake of appearances, she had to act cute, which is exactly what she did.
“Big brother is such a meanie!”
This remark caused Angel to roll his eyes and sigh. He quickly reached over and showed the girl the lilies he had purchased for her. The sight of which made her smile and clap her hands in an exaggerated display of excitement. Seemingly switching from pouty to happy in an instant.
“Yay, big brother is the best!”
“Honestly Isabella, you are such a child… Alright, fine I’ll get on the plane, and you will have these before we eat tonight. How does that sound?”
Isabella simply gave the man a double thumbs up, to which he responded with a wry smile before hanging up on her. The moment the call ended ,and the video screen went black, Isabella frowned something fierce before speaking her genuine thoughts aloud.
“Fucking idiot, I bet he’s flirting with that little whore again… Honestly Angel, you should know that even you will have a difficult time winning over a traditional girl like that you fucking retard! Now… let’s see whether my suspicions were indeed correct!”
Isabella then switched to another screen on her laptop and began to hack into the security cameras of the florist shop, where she smirked confidently at the sight of her older brother flirting with Maria. However, in the next second, her expression turned upside down, as she grabbed hold of the laptop and shoved the screen closer to her face.
Why would she do something like this? Because Alex appeared on the screen. After all, Isabella was a big fan of Alex. His love for violence, and the way he brutalized his opponent’s in the cage was something that turned her on to no end. For him to be in Mexico… She just had to meet him… She watched very carefully confirming that this was indeed Alex, before reaching for her phone.
She was about to call her father so that he could invite Alex to the compound to meet with her when she froze at the next scene. Alex too was flirting with Maria… This caused Isabella to become incredibly bitter, as a hideous expression appeared on her otherwise gorgeous face.
The number she was dialing was immediately deleted, as she instead called a different number entirely… A deep voice appeared on the other end of the line, partially confused about why he was being called by Isabella of all people. But before he could ask she spoke in an ice cold tone.
“I need a favor…”
The deep and masculine voice immediately broke out into a stammer, as the man struggled to speak his thoughts aloud.
“Y.. Yes! Anything for you!”
Isabella’s lips curled into a sneer as she gave the man an order.
“I need you to kidnap a man for me. Beware he has amble hand to hand combat experience, and is an American, so he probably knows how to shoot guns as well… Bring him to the usual place! And whatever you do… Don’t tell the old man!”
If internal panic could be heard over the silene of a phone call, then Isabella certainly heard it at this moment, as the man on the other end of the line struggled once more to find his voice. He was sort of in a damned if you do damned if you don’t kind of situation.
On the one hand, if he denied a direct order from the Cartel’s beloved princess, his fate would be worse than death. On the other hand, it sounded like the princess was saying that she was going to do something against her father’s wishes, and if the old man found out that he helped her accomplish this, his fate would be worse than death.
Thus, with a heavy sigh and defeated tone in his voice, the man on the other end of the line relented to the Princess’s demands.
“Alright… I got it…. Send me the identity of the target and his last known location, and I’ll let you know when I have him prepared for you.”
Isabella once more smiled something wicked as she nodded her head and accepted the man’s response as satisfactory with a chilling tone in her voice.
“Good… Don’t screw this up!”
After saying this, Isabella hung up, leaving the man on the other end of the line nearly pissing his pants in fright. One thing was certain, Alex was about to have a very unique first encounter with Mexico’s most vicious cartel and their crazy princess. An encounter that would undoubtedly cause some serious tension between Jalisco and the Zetas.
