“You wish!” Natasha gave Han Luoyu a look, urging her, “You’re too young to be misbehaving; focus on your studies!”
“Young?” Han Luoyu whispered, “I’m not young at all, am I?”
Natasha frowned, raising her voice, “Hmm?”
Han Luoyu immediately became subservient: “Yes, Officer! Understood, Officer!”
Upon arriving at S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy, Han Luoyu immediately entered a painful yet joyful period of study.
With Natasha’s encouragement and the help of her Super Brain, she completed all her courses in just one year, becoming a “qualified” Agent.
“I’m a person with a house and a degree now!” Han Luoyu was as excited as a child when she received her S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy diploma.
“Actually, you could have graduated much earlier,” Natasha said, somewhat helplessly, “I don’t understand why you insisted on staying for a whole year.”
“I just wanted to experience more of school life,” Han Luoyu recalled her college days, reminiscing, “It was so beautiful!”
Although Natasha didn’t understand Han Luoyu’s feelings, seeing her bright smile made her smile with contentment.
“Oh, right, Sister Natasha.” Han Luoyu suddenly remembered something and asked Natasha, “What’s the date today?”
“October second,” Natasha asked, “What’s wrong?”
Han Luoyu’s expression changed slightly, and she thought to herself, “I hope I didn’t miss Captain America’s awakening.”
She shook her head and said, “Nothing, I’ve just been cooped up in the Academy for too long and want to take on some missions to go out and explore.”
Natasha suggested, “Then you can go ask the Director.”
“There’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time,” Han Luoyu said seriously to Natasha, “I want to do it now.”
“What… Oh!” Natasha was about to say something, but suddenly felt a dizzying sensation, which startled her.
She instinctively hugged whatever was nearby, which was Han Luoyu’s waist.
Han Luoyu playfully stuck out her tongue at Natasha in her arms and said, “Of course, it’s taking you on a flight!”
With that, she activated her Biological Force Field to protect Natasha, accelerated, and created bursts of sonic booms.
Natasha, being battle-hardened, quickly recovered her composure after a brief moment of panic.
After giving Han Luoyu a look, she began discussing “Approaching Science” with her, asking, “I can’t feel any wind pressure; what’s the principle behind this?”
“Of course, it’s my superpower—Biological Force Field!” Han Luoyu winked at Natasha, boasting, “How about it, impressive, right!”
“Another superpower?” Natasha was already used to it and asked her, “Your Kryptonian genes are truly enviable!”
“Envious, right!” Han Luoyu smiled mysteriously and said, “You can get stronger just by basking in the Sun!”
Natasha gave Han Luoyu a look, saying speechlessly, “Look at your smug expression; your nose is almost pointing to the sky!”
Han Luoyu chuckled and said to Natasha, “Sister Natasha, my cells can absorb and store stellar energy. Imagine a giant mobile energy source! Isn’t that awesome!”
“Absorbing stellar energy…” Natasha suddenly thought of something and murmured, “A giant mobile energy source…”
Han Luoyu nodded, explaining to Natasha, “Do you remember when we first met, and my head hurt?”
Natasha nodded.
“That was when I first gained my abilities,” Han Luoyu said, “And the ability that awakened then was Super Hearing. I heard too many things at once, and my brain couldn’t adapt immediately, which caused the headache.”
“I see.” Natasha understood and asked Han Luoyu, “So, what abilities do you Kryptonians all have?”
Han Luoyu thought seriously for a moment and replied, “Hmm… Steel Body, Super Strength, Super Hearing, Super Vision, Super Brain, Super Speed, Super Durability, Flight, Biological Force Field, Heat Ray, Ice Breath, X-ray Vision, and Clothes Devouring. I think that’s all.”
“That’s all?” Natasha was astonished, instantly cursing, “WTF! So many abilities, and you tell me that’s all? I really want to smack you!”
Han Luoyu chuckled and raised an eyebrow, “So, where do you want to go, Sister Natasha?”
“I think it’s best if we go see the Director!” Natasha said exasperatedly, “Do you know your importance? If your genes fall into the wrong hands, it would definitely be a disaster!”
Han Luoyu thought of Doomsday created by Rex, and felt that Natasha’s words were very reasonable, agreeing, “That makes sense, let’s go find the Director!”
With that, she activated her Super Hearing, and after hearing Fury’s voice, she said to Natasha, “Hold onto my waist; we’re going to accelerate!”
A secret Base somewhere in S.H.I.E.L.D..
Fury was walking in the Base’s plaza when Natasha’s voice suddenly came from behind him: “Director, please wait a moment.”
“Motherf*cker!” Fury jumped, frowning as he asked Natasha, “How did you find me?”
“I brought Sister Natasha here,” Han Luoyu suddenly spoke from behind Fury, “I heard your voice.”
Fury was so startled by Han Luoyu that his heart nearly stopped. He rolled his eyes and said, “Please, suddenly appearing is very scary.”
Han Luoyu rubbed the back of her head, apologizing profusely, “Sorry, I just happened to land behind you; I didn’t mean to scare you.”
As she said this, her heart was blooming with joy: “As if! I just wanted to see you flustered!”
Fury composed himself and said calmly, “So, what are you two here for?”
Natasha stepped forward and solemnly said to Fury, “To discuss the issue of Luo Yu’s abilities.”
“Oh.” Fury glanced at Han Luoyu, tilted his neck, and gestured for the two to follow him, “Then we need a quiet place. Follow me.”
After several twists and turns, the three finally arrived at an empty small conference room.
After closing the door, Fury said expressionlessly, “What’s wrong with Luo Yu’s abilities?”
Natasha went straight to the point, telling Fury, “Just now, Luo Yu told me all the abilities she currently possesses.”
“Currently?” Fury seized on the most important point, asking, “What does that mean?”
“It means they might increase in the future,” Natasha said, somewhat helplessly.
Fury frowned, nodded, and said, “What abilities does she have now?”
“Steel Body, Super Strength, Super Hearing, Super Vision, Super Brain, Super Speed, Super Durability, Flight, Biological Force Field, Heat Ray, Ice Breath, X-ray Vision…” Natasha thought for a moment and added, “And Clothes Devouring.”
“…”
Fury fell silent, thinking to himself, “There are some discrepancies with the comics. Clothes Devouring? What kind of ability is that?”
“And her abilities come from stellar energy,” Natasha continued, “If her genes were obtained by others, the consequences would be unimaginable.”
Fury looked deeply at Han Luoyu, saying very seriously, “I’ve also thought about this problem, and there’s no good solution.”
He looked directly into Han Luoyu’s eyes and said, “You must be careful in your actions. Even if I ask you for your genes in the future, you must not give them to me, understand?”
