“If it’s not, then it’s not. What are you so hung up about?! Why don’t I lend you a few books to read?” Yun Chujiu said with a smile.
Elder Xiao felt that he would die of anger if he continued arguing with Yun Chujiu. He turned around and left.
Yun Chujiu waved the book in her hand. “Hey, who wants to read it? I’ll lend it to you for free!”
Everyone shook their heads like a rattle-drum. ‘Yun Chujiu is really too unrestrained. We can’t afford to offend her, but we can hide from her!’ Therefore, everyone ignored Yun Chujiu and left one after another.
Yun Chujiu curled her lips and continued reading with relish.
For the entire day, Yun Chujiu did not go to the Sea of Fire at all, and only ate and kept reading the book. Everyone was really confused, and every time they wanted to ask, Yun Chujiu would stop them with her eyes. She would not let them ask, so everyone could only wait and see.
At night, Yun Chujiu threw dozens of meat buns into the Sea of Fire. She mumbled a few words that were similar to what she said the night before and then went back to sleep!
On the third morning, when everyone thought that Yun Chujiu would throw the buns again, they found her sitting on the recliner, unmoving.
Everyone was unsure what Yun Chujiu was doing. Why did she suddenly stop the feeding?
At first, there was nothing unusual with the Sea of Fire. After a while, everyone realized that there were a few figures jumping around in the Sea of Fire. Although they could not see clearly, they could tell that there were about seven or eight Fire Spirit Beasts.
Yun Chujiu then stood up from the recliner and walked to the front of the Sea of Fire.
When the Fire Spirit Beasts saw Yun Chujiu coming over, they became more active and jumped around even more. Yun Chujiu picked up a meat bun but did not throw it into the Sea of Fire. Instead, she ate it herself, and as she ate, she mumbled, “Sigh, I’ve been feeding you for two days and I still haven’t seen you eat it. I guess none of you like this meat bun. I’ll keep it for myself to eat! You guys can continue eating stones!”
Squeaking sounds came from the Sea of Fire, but Yun Chujiu acted as if she did not hear it. As she ate, she continued to mutter, “Oh my… Why are the buns today even more delicious than the previous ones? They’re delicious, juicy, and so fragrant!”

After thinking for a bit, she placed two pots of stewed meat on the ground, then, she clapped her hands and said to the crowd, “Let’s go back! Since these Fire Spirit Beasts are willing to gnaw on rocks, why should we meddle in other people’s business? We can’t do anything about the earth fire! Anyway, I have the heavenly Thunder Root Spirit. When I’m free, I can help you hack some of your stuff. Let’s go!”
