Looking at her friend's strange outburst, Mrs. Miller almost jumped back in shock. "A-Are you okay?!"
Dixie's mother sighed as she waved her hand carelessly. "Give me a moment, I'll get back to you shortly."
Whether Mrs. Brown noticed the concerned look on her friend's face and consciously chose to ignore it, or if she was too lost in her own delusions to even notice was anyone's guess.
The blonde lady couldn't help but frown hesitantly, wondering if the revelation had been a bit too much for her poor friend to handle at her age.
Mrs. Brown coughed as she continued her inner monologue. "Ahem, where was I? Right. Dixie, my darling, I'm sorry for always accusing you of being a simp. Never did I realize what a genius you were, and what the true extent of your abilities could be. While a level one gigachad like myself could only think on the level of snatching one beauty at a time, you were thinking the long game!"
Thinking about it now, if her daughter was the mighty protagonist who was hiding her true abilities to dazzle the world in one move, wasn't she, her mother, the kind of stupid elder who made fun of and looked down on said protagonist for being weak and unworthy? Wouldn't Dixie have thought of her mother as an ignorant buffoon?
Mrs. Brown couldn't help but lament in her heart. How could a gigachad like herself have indulged in such pathetic behavior before?
She couldn't help but be overwhelmed with regret at the thought. "Ahh… if only I had believed in my blood more, that my daughter would be a great gigachad no matter what, I wouldn't have put forth such a shameful display!"
Now she could only hope that her daughter didn't think too lowly of her, as some plebian who couldn't recognize a gigachad love machine if it smacked her across the face.
"Y-You're starting to scare me, you know? S-Should I call your daughter? O-Or a doctor, maybe?"
"W-Wait!" Mrs. Brown choked immediately. 'Right, the rest of my speech can wait until later. Wouldn't it be even more shameful for Dixie to hear of my gaffe from her concubine's mother?'
Channeling back all of her remaining gigachad energy, Mrs. Brown immediately composed herself. "Please don't worry. I'm fine now, and I fully understand what you meant as well."
The blonde lady squinted her eyes suspiciously. "Y-You do?"
The dark-haired woman nodded. "Right."
Mrs. Miller really wanted to trust her, but whenever she thought back to how the woman was behaving just moments ago, talking to herself in a seemingly deranged, delusional state, she couldn't help but have her doubts. "B-But… do you really?"
Even Mrs. Brown couldn't remain oblivious to how her friend was looking at her right now, and coughed in embarrassment. "If you keep squinting at me with such passion, I might get the right idea, you know? Did your daughter's relationship spark your curiosity? Wanna try something new? Actually, it's been years since I—"
The blonde lady's face turned red as she hurriedly waved her hands in denial. "W-What?! NO! That's not what I meant at all—!"
Looking at her panic, Mrs. Brown couldn't help but chuckle. This woman really was too easy to tease, though she couldn't overdo it or risk overwhelming her. "Nevermind. Just a joke."
Mrs. Miller felt her lips twitch. She was really starting to wonder if she should have just gone to an anonymous forum for advice. Maybe she would get more serious responses there. "F-Funny."
The dark-haired woman coughed. "Anyway, I would like to apologize first."
Mrs. Miller couldn't help but blink in surprise. "Eh? Why?"
Did she finally realize the gravity of the situation and start taking it seriously? Did she mean she also had no solution to the issue? Or was she just apologizing for the crude joke earlier? Mrs. Miller really couldn't figure it out.
Dixie's mother scratched her cheek in embarrassment. "I have to apologize, because this is all my fault."
Mrs. Miller almost felt her eyes bug out of her head in shock. "Huh?! What do you mean?!"
Did this woman, whom she always thought of as a sensible but silly person, actually incite those girls to get together intentionally? Or was she misunderstanding something?
Mrs. Brown coughed. "Y-You see, I have always been somewhat of a chick magnet. The girls just can't keep their eyes and hands off me, you know? Even you must have felt it sometime. Ah, no need to look at me like that, I know you must feel it in your heart, beauty. Ahem, anyway, my genes could have made my daughter too attractive as well, which led to this situation."
Crystal's mom had been thrown completely for a loop by the woman's strange thoughts, and it took her almost a full minute to return to reality and make sense of her words.
'S-She seriously thinks this is true?!' Mrs. Miller couldn't help but start giggling. Why had she never discovered that Mrs. Brown could be so silly?
Mrs. Brown smirked. "Hoh? Did I make you realize it now, are you charmed?"
The blonde lady couldn't help but chuckle. "I-I'll admit it, Mrs. Brown, you are a little charming."
Dixie's mother flicked her hair haughtily. "Fufu… not just a little, right? Anyway, where did you even learn the word? You don't know how shocked I was when I heard 'threesome' from your mouth."
Mrs. Miller coughed in embarrassment. "O-Oh… w-well, even I know these things, you know."
The dark-haired woman rolled her eyes. "I'll believe that if a middle-schooler said that, but you can just be honest."
Mrs. Miller looked at her in disbelief for a while before finally letting out a sigh of defeat. "I-I looked it up."
Giving her a smug look that just screamed 'I knew it', Mrs. Brown chuckled. "Heh. Did you find any interesting videos? I'm always looking for things to spice my life up, if you know what I mean."
