Looking at her companion's mortified face and teary eyes, Mrs. Brown finally realized her gaffe. Immediately, she started laughing out loud. "Really! The kind of things they show on TV these days, huh! Anything for the shock factor—"
Most of the patrons shook their heads and turned away, wondering why every time they just wanted a quiet, peaceful meal, someone loud and obnoxious just had to make themselves known to everyone within a hundred-meter radius.
A few others lamented at the fact that they now had to explain to their children what a threesome relationship was supposed to be.
A young boy tugged the hem of his mother's dress, blinking up curiously with his big brown eyes. "Mommy, what's a threesome relationship?"
The lady continued flipping through the menu without a care, as if she hadn't heard anything strange. "A special dish in this restaurant."

The father's face turned awkward, while the teenage daughter smirked. Hey, if her family can have fun taking her to awkward family outings, she could have fun watching them be awkward too. It was only fair.
The mother nodded. "Sure. It's really healthy, full of broccoli, beetroot, and beans. Old ladies love it, let me order you some—"
"Ewwww, no! I don't want any!"
The older girl just clicked her tongue and went back to her meal, knowing that pushing her mother anymore would just get her a serving of ass-whooping instead.
Still, it seemed like what her friends had told her was indeed true. This place was full of surprises! All kinds of strange people came here, and there had even been a police raid!
No wonder the security seemed so tight.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Miller finally breathed a sigh of relief when most people stopped staring at them. "M-Maybe we should go upstairs to talk in private."

Although they'd had quite a few meetings ever since the partnership between the Miller's Restaurant and the Brown's confectioneries was established, she had never really been to Mrs. Miller's private quarters.
It wasn't that either of them was trying to keep their distance, though, it was just that it hadn't been that long since they got to know each other. And at their age, it really took a while for people to even become friends.
Crystal's mother also seemed to realize the same as she smiled. "Come to think of it, this is the first time you're coming to my home, right? Let me make you some of my best tea, then."
Mrs. Brown was a very humble woman, or so she thought, but she was never pretentious. "Ahh, alright. Please do, and then you better start explaining everything from the beginning, because I think my mind pretty much rebooted from that curveball earlier."
The blonde lady nodded with some embarrassment as she moved behind the kitchen counter. "S-Sure…"
Mrs. Brown couldn't help but feel a little melancholic. "Still a little strange how this is my first visit to a friend's 'home' in a while. I remember how I used to make 'friends' in my younger years in a matter of minutes, and we used to become 'best friends' by the end of the day…"
'Ahhh, how nice it was when everyone's heart was simple and oblivious of my scheming… Now everyone almost pisses their pants and hides their wives if they hear I might be visiting…' was her finishing thought, but she couldn't let the other woman hear it.
Crystal's mother chuckled as she heard her friend's mumbling. "It's only natural. Children have less to worry about, after all. Though not all children have it so easy, my own baby, for example…"
Mrs. Brown wasn't really interested in listening to the tales of Crystal's awkward, aloof childhood, but she still nodded along.
It wasn't just out of courtesy, though that was also a factor, but she knew that Crystal was one of the closest common friends between her daughter and daughter-in-law.
In times of emergencies, such as when Dixie cheated on her wife — as unlikely as it seemed right now, humans could always give in to temptation — such a person could be of invaluable assistance.
Mrs. Miller sighed as she placed the teacup in front her friend. "Anyway, I never really thought one day I would not only be able to see her bringing home so many of her friends, but also worry about her overdoing it, of all things."
Dixie's mother coughed awkwardly. "I hate to interrupt, but if this is what you meant by 'threesome', I might have horribly misunderstood you earlier. That being said, you realize that people can have more than one friend, right?"
When she thought about it, this woman may have complained a lot about her daughter being a loner earlier, but wasn't she the same, if not worse?
Mrs. Brown knew for a fact that other than her daughter, she probably only interacted with the staff and herself. Wouldn't it have been more ridiculous if her daughter turned out any different, being raised by such a mother?

Crystal's mother coughed awkwardly as she tried to think of a good way to put forth her thoughts. "W-Well, you see… I—"
Mrs. Brown made a 'go on' gesture, and the blonde woman took a sip of the tea to calm herself before continuing. "You see how our daughters are friends? Dixie, Crystal, and… Emilia?"
The dark haired woman nodded with a smile. "Well yes. I know. They often play around here, don't they? You should record it and show me, sometime."
Mrs. Miller gulped. Would she ever dare place a camera in her home, knowing what kind of things could be going on in here? She really wouldn't dare. "P-Play… y-yeah… But… their relationship isn't as simple as it seems."
'Of course it isn't. My daughter is fucking Emilia, after all!' Mrs. Brown thought smugly, though she didn't say it out loud. Although it was a little strange that Mrs. Miller would notice. Maybe she saw some hints? But wasn't this woman so oblivious? "No two pair of friends interact the same way, there's nothing to be worried about—"
Mrs. Miller waved her hands rapidly to interrupt her friend. She had to make this clear before she lost her nerves again, because she really couldn't bring herself to start this conversation a third time. "N-No, well, you see… I think, their relation is a little deeper than that of friends."
Dixie's mother couldn't help but raise a brow curiously. If the woman wasn't misunderstanding or making conjectures, she really was a little interested in some of the juicy internal details. "Now that's kinda interesting. What makes you say that?"
It was unlikely that her daughter would ever tell her anything, anyway, so hearing it from a third party would also be fun.
Mrs. Miller's face had turned completely red at this point. "I-I've seen them doing some things… um, I mean…"
Of course, Dixie's mother would never be satisfied with this kind of thing. If she kept being so vague, then what was the point of telling her about it? She already knew Dixie was fucking Emilia, she wanted the details, dammit!
"Wait, by 'them', you mean which two? You have to be very, very specific and detailed, or I won't understand a thing."
Looking at her friend making a confused expression, Mrs. Miller couldn't help but grit her teeth as she almost slammed the cup down on the table. "I-I mean all three!"
Thankfully, the cup didn't break, though Mrs. Brown's mind did almost reboot again.
What did 'all three' mean?
Thinking back on it step by step, she had already had Mrs. Miller establish that they weren't talking about girls being girls, or just friends being friendly, right?
That being the case, the woman couldn't be so stupid as to still say something like 'all three' while making such implications, right? If she was, she would be in dire need of some 'education'!
But assuming that what she said was true, for now, and she had indeed been served with facts, that meant that Dixie was fucking not just Emilia, but also… Crystal.
At the same time.
Mrs. Brown wiped a tear from the corner of her eye, overwhelmed with pride. "It really is true, aah, the future generations will always exceed their ancestors' glory. Ahh, my Dixie, you have carried my torch forward! You couldn't have made mommy more proud if you tried!"
