The thousands of black monsters, unable to cross the ice wall and constantly being electrocuted and bombarded, had turned their focus to aiding the Demon Lord fighting Mindseer, Heather, the Pigmen King, and Rurik. Damian had already noticed it.
Besides making the giant runic pillars and gathering liquid mana as fast as he could with his supply of raw iron and steel—melting them into the correct shapes to handle a spell of such massive scale—Damian also sent occasional giant light structures shaped like javelins toward the massive dark monster holding the black sword: the Demon Lord. Damian knew attacks from such a distance would not hit the guy, but he had his wormholes, and he wasn’t exactly aiming to take down the Demon Lord—just giving the four Transcendants cover from the other black army monsters constantly trying to close in on them as they launched attack after attack on the giant legendary monster that was the Demon Lord’s current body.
