The leader of the robbers was stunned. He didn’t expect the old man to have some skills, no wonder he didn’t seem to be intimidated. Nonetheless, they have more bodies. With a wave of his arm, he shouted, “Everybody, attack!”
The remaining 5 robbers rushed up in a very uncoordinated manner. Gu Xiao twirled the rod in a way that not even wind could pass through. Before the robbers even knew what was going on, their hands went numb and their weapons flew out of them.
“OUCH!” “OH, OW!” The rod hit them on their heads, their shoulders, their backs, and their arms… The robbers covered their heads and ran around like chickens with their heads cut off as they scream in pain.
Gu Xiao had already gone light on them. He only used 30% of his strength; otherwise, all the robbers would be down on the ground already.
“Stop… STOP!” The big fool that was sent flying earlier was now standing behind Gu Ye who had been happily enjoying the show this entire time. With one hand on his stomach and the other one around her neck, he shouted loudly, “If you don’t stop, I… I am going to strangle her!”
Gu Ye had her hands on his shoulder. It looked like she was struggling to get free when, in fact, under the dim light of sun rise, she brought a bottle of “Power Potion” to her mouth and gulped it down.
Seeing that his granddaughter was in the hand of the robber, Gu Xiao immediately stopped the one-sided show. He brought the rod up to his chest, tossed it onto the ground, and said to the big fool, “Calm down! You just want money, there’s no need for that!”
“You old man!!” The leader of the bandit, who now have a bruised eye, swollen face, and a big lump on his head, saw that Gu Xiao had tossed aside his weapon and lunged at him with his fists.
Gu Xiao didn’t even turn to look, but with a switch back kick, and loud cry could be heard followed by a loud thud of a heavy object landed on the ground. The poor guy was kicked onto the ground. All the other robbers backed away with a fearful look after witnessing that.
“Don’t…. don’t move!! If…. If…. If you move again, I… am going to kill her!” Stuttered the big fool, his stuttering even worse now that he was nervous. Seeing how the leader was sent flying, and remember how he was kicked, his stomach seemed to be hurting even more than before.
“Why are you shaking?” A crisp, bird-like kid’s voice cut through the early morning and reached everybody’s ears, “Oh, stop shaking already! That’s making me very uncomfortable!!”
The sun was coming up and Gu Xiao, looking at his granddaughter, noticed that there was no fear in on her, just full of impatience. That’s his granddaughter. Brave! While he was trying to find the opportunity to go up and save his granddaughter, he suddenly heard a loud shriek from the big fool.
Gu Xiao looked carefully and saw his granddaughter used two fingers from her right hand to pinch the big fool’s wrist. It didn’t seem like she was using much strength at all, but the other man was holding his arm, shrieking.
The big fool struggled a bit but failed to break his arm free from his opponent. This girl was the real hustler here. Her arm, barely half the size of his, was no clammed down on his wrist like a large plier. All of a sudden, his wrist felt like it had broken and was excruciatingly painful. He had lost control of half of his body.
From the perspective of everyone else, it looked something like this: A girl half the size of the big fool gently holding his write. A smile on her face as though she was just playing with him, while the big fool was playing along and screaming and shrieking on cue to appease her.
