The next day in the morning.
Blackbeard gathered the common people rescued from the pirates at one place. Their combined population was 300. Women amounted to 205 and the rest were men who were used as labors.
As discussed with Alex before, Blackbeard had first tried to gain the trust of these former slaves throughout the night by treating their injuries and feeding them with lots of food.
"Listen to me! We kill neither old nor women or children. I promise that nothing will happen to you as long as you choose to follow my lord, Alex. Moreover, I promise a bright future to all of you as long as you give your allegiance to my Master Alex, the Lord of this island!" Blackbeard shouted at the organized group.
Then in the morning, they were again gathered because Alex wanted to know from their mouth about every individual pirate that was captured.
Most of the pirates used to be normal civilian before and were only forced to take such a direction.
With the help of the freed people, Blackbeard separated the pirates which had very bad characters and had done evil deeds. When Blackbeard was going to behead them, some women came forward as they personally wanted to have revenge.
Rather than killing the pirates in one strike, the women and also some men used stones and sticks to beat them till death. The population of the captured pirates was reduced to three hundred and nineteen.
For the next week, these remaining pirates and former slaves would be taught and educated. They would be trained to obey the orders of the puppets and also to strengthen their characters.
After doing these things, they would then be integrated into the Blackbeard's pirate group. Because this island had an excellent port, the Blackbeard pirates would develop it to make a big pier. The port would be used to make new ships by clearing the forest around the port.
Some of the common people would be settled near the port to build town stones and bricks. Under the leadership of the puppets, they would also start to build farms and hunter groups to gather food from the forest and also by fishing in the shallow waters around Island.
Alex had decided to name this new island as Greenedge and the town would be called as Mallow-port town.
Alex used some of the money to purchase puppets with different skills like carpenter, mason, blacksmith, tailors, etc.
Alex didn't want to replace real humans with puppets, so he only purchased them in a limited scope. These different puppets would actually be used to teach the civilians of this new town. Alex wanted to make these villagers self-reliable and empower them with knowledge.
The puppets would only be used for a top position like the mayor of the town or the chief officer of the town patrol police squad or in position like a judge in a court. Alex had a very ambitious plan to develop mallow port town as he wants and will do the same on his home Sea-Shell Island.
But these things would take some time to happen.
As things were progressing in new Greenedge Island, Alex was busy absorbing the low-grade spirit stones.
Because there was a little impurity in the Qi of the spirit stone, Alex was able to quickly cultivate after the circulating the Qi from the body to the Book which would refine it then circulate it again in his body to temper it with pure Qi.
His cultivation was also steadily increasing; Alex was very close in breaching the wall to advance towards the next grade of body tempering realm.
Alex had a chest of spirit stones so he did fear to waste these stones. After using around 14 spirit stones, he successfully advanced to 7th grade of Body Tempering Realm.
After using two more spirit stones, Alex stabilized his cultivation quickly. Now he will wait to adjust his body for some days before using the Spirit stones to advance again.
This kind of cultivation is only possible for Alex as he has the Unnamed Cultivation Technique from the Book. Others can't replicate his progress, even if they had numerous spirit stones.
The body would start to reject the constant injection of foreign Qi. That is why the cultivators of this world have to use a lot of time to advance even if they had the resources.
Alex had decided to distribute some of these spirit stones to his families so that they can speed up their cultivation.
After advancing to the 7th grade of Body Tempering Realm, Alex can project his Qi out of his body. He is now also eligible to use various kinds of martial skills to fight with his Qi.
As always, Alex checked the Book in his soul space to see if there's any new change. Unfortunately, there was none.
So he checked his inventory. Alex has gathered almost forty thousand gold coins. As the book does not except the gems and other such precious materials like wood furniture, antics; Alex would sell them through various channels for more money.
Alex was in a very good mood today, the increase of his cultivation would mean that his puppets can also increase their strength and also that he can start refining pills of Rank 0. He can also be a lot bolder in doing certain things. He used the money to purchase more puppets and bring their strength to a suitable level.
Alex can now be sure that if his puppets are gathered then they can be the most powerful elite army on this Island. If he wants then Alex can use his puppets to slice a territory for himself from the hands of the nobles.
If Alex had to fight with only one Noble family, then he is certain to win. But this is not possible if the Nobles combine their strength together and deal with him.
This is also the reason because of which Alex wants to increase his personal strength as much as possible.
In a very good mood, he ate breakfast with his Aunts, Anna, and the two Brothers.
It was not for long until a puppet contacted him to convey a piece of bad news.
Selena has been kidnapped by an unknown group.
This happened because Selena was coming to visit him in the morning. Instead of using a carriage she was coming here by walking. Her servant who is also her bodyguard also accompanied her but a tragedy still happened in between.
One of his puppets coincidently found the servant and his men badly injured and lying unconscious in an alley as he was patrolling the area that was assigned to him.
The servant then told him about Selena's abduction after he was awakened by the puppet. Alex had then been informed first. The servant also described the puppet about the people who had kidnapped Selena.
The puppets all over the city were then alerted and began to search for these men. Some time had already passed since Selena was taken away but the people who took her were still located quickly in minutes.
One of the puppets at the port had found the suspects boarding a ship but he was still a little late as the ship quickly departed from the port.
Alex came out of his house by saying an excuse. Because there was little time, Alex ordered some of his puppets to bring the injured servants of Selena to her manor and also inform Master Clayton.
Alex ran towards the port as quickly as possible.
