Rosie is following Rex with a sense of disgust, ‘He’s not that simple, How can a hero that the UWO acknowledge be that simple’ she thought after looking at Rex who releases faint reddish-white steam.
‘Hmm? Why is he running like a madman?’ Rosie thought, she increases her speed to match Rex’s.
She is an Awakened so she can match Rex with a little bit of effort,
Rosie saw Rex is heading towards the mall exit and lift his head up to look at the sky, She becomes even more confused, ‘What is he doing?’
Then suddenly, Rex collapse to the ground with a painful expression hugging his body.
Rosie was shocked, she immediately rushes towards Rex.
“Rex are you okay? What happened to you?”, Ask Rosie with a worried tone. Although Rosie is not interested in Rex, she still can’t just leave Rex alone.
“Help..” Rex mutters softly.
“What? Rex, I can’t hear you, say it again, Are you sick? Do you have medicine for this?”, Rosie didn’t hear what Rex said clearly, she only hear a soft mumble.
People already started to notice Rex’s condition, Rosie gritted her teeth and takes out a white crystal from her purse.
The white crystal glows with a bright light that envelope Rex and Rosie,
After the bright light is gone, Rosie and Rex are nowhere to be seen.
“Where did they go?” ask a man wearing a jumper suit.
“They’re teleported, it is a new invention. That item is made by the UWO, Transferral Crystal” replied a middle-aged woman.
“They must be an Awakened because that thing is expensive as hell”
Meanwhile, a bright light envelope a mansion not far away from Nokas mall.
Rosie decided to teleport them to her family’s house,
“ARRGGHH!!” Rex screams suddenly.
Rosie jumped in shock, “Rex talk to me, what is happening?”
Rex pushes Rosie away, his body started to make a cracking sound as his body grows bigger. His human nails started to grow, his hair started to get longer while his body started to gain muscle mass.
Looking at this, Rosie was terrified.
‘Is he awakening? but there are no elemental properties in his transformation’, she thought after sizing Rex up.
Rosie felt her senses screaming, without wasting another second she activates her wind abilities.
Her body excludes a green hue as she dashes forward towards Rex, ‘I need to get him into the training room’.
“Wind Gale!”
She slams Rex’s back with her palm, wind shot out from her palm as it pushes Rex into a room.
Rex was pushed forward towards the room before Rosie dashes again to close the room.
Meanwhile, Rex is experiencing the most painful moment of his life.
‘What is happening to me?! Don’t tell me the system that I thought was a joke is real?!’ Rex screamed in his head, he looks at his hand that now turns furry, his fingernails are already as long as a ruler.
‘No, it can’t be. I’m a human! I’m not that disgusting creature!!’, Rex is trying to deny the fact that he turns into one of his hated supernatural.
“AAHHH!!” he screamed on top of his lungs when once again his bones moved and grow longer.
Shrill scream and cries of Rex can be heard for two full minutes, Rosie was just outside the door with her shaky legs.
She can hear all the cries of pain that come from the room, ‘Is he a supernatural? But there is no supernatural that can turn into a human no matter what races they are’, she thought.
As time went by, the scream from Rex becomes fainter and fainter until it has completely gone.
Silent fills the mansion,
Rosie brings up her courage and put her ears on the door,
She could hear a faint growling sound,
Her heart starts to beat faster, she decided to try and peek inside to check on Rex.
Creakk…
The door slowly opens, she slowly peeks inside the room while activating her powers.
The room is as big as a basketball court, weapons neatly arrange at the sides, and a big window at the end of the room.
She looks towards the center of the room, She finds a black creature standing on two with claw marks all over the wooden floor.
When she sees the creature inside her room, her body stiffens in fear.
The back of a big furred monster appears in front of her eyes, Its body is still human-like with sharp claws and fangs. Although if one was to see Rex, they will know that Rex is a half-werewolf because he was not as big as the other werewolf and he also didn’t have a snout.
She unconsciously steps back in fear after realizing what the monster is, ‘WEREWOLF!’ she screamed inside her head.
Werewolf is one of the highest-ranking supernatural, they are one of the backbones of the supernatural that brings terror to humanity.
They are the worst enemy to fight in the night, one werewolf can only be killed by a group of elite Awakened but when it’s night one werewolf becomes a horrifying monster with unimaginable battle prowess.
Rex turns to his back slowly,
Rosie’s legs feel like jelly as Rex’s body turns toward her, Rex’s yellow eyes stare straight into her eyes.
Grrrr…
A growling sound comes out of Rex’s mouth,
“Rex, It’s me, Rosie. Snap out of it!” Rosie said trying to bring Rex back from this state.
Although Rex becomes a werewolf, Rosie still believes that Rex is not a monster judging from how he’s so obedient to his mother, and also Rosie beliefs that there is no supernatural that can turn into a human.
At this point, Rex has already lost consciousness. The thirst from the Blood Moon makes him lost in bloodlust, rendering him unable to respond.
He looks at Rosie as if she is his prey,
Saliva started to drips from Rex’s mouth,
Rex leaped towards Rosie trying to slash her with his claw,
In the nick of time, Rosie jumped out of the way using the wind to push her to the sides.
Rex slash misses and hits the door shutting it.
Rosie is scared shitless, her only escape route was blocked by Rex.
The only thing she can do is to fight Rex,
‘How can I a rank two Awakened fight a werewolf who even a high-ranking Awakened can’t’, She thought then she remembers something.
She searches the room trying to find something, ‘My sword!’.
Rosie’s sword is just behind Rex, The sword is silver in color with a green outline.
Just as she finds her sword, Rex already right in front of her opening his mouth to bite her.
She rolls to the side avoiding Rex’s attack,
Rex can’t stop his momentum and crash to the wall behind Rosie.
Rosie’s fighting instinct is riled up, she immediately cast her spell to slow Rex down.
“Basic Magic, Wind Cutter!”
She slashes her hand forward,
Whoosh!
A wind blade comes out of her hand aiming at Rex,
Rex’s yellow eyes glisten, He roars in anger and slashes the wind blade with his claw. The wind cutter put a bit of resistance but eventually cut into two by Rex’s claw.
The time Rosie got from the Wind Cutter helps her in closing the distance.
She held her hand on Rex’s stomach and sent out a Wind Gale in point-blank range.
BAAM!
Rex flung to the sides and hit the wall, Rex shakes his head and look in Rosie’s direction.
‘This is my chance!’, Rosie runs towards the door to get out of the room not intending to even take her sword to fight again.
‘That Wind Gale is my strongest magic, but it seems Rex is not hurt by that. I’m no match for him, I need to run’ Rosie thought while running with all her might.
Suddenly a cold wind breeze her cheek,
She looks to the sides and finds Rex already in front of her, He raises her hand and slashes her with his claw.
She was shaken, ‘That’s too fast! I can’t block it!’
Rosie cover her body with a green hue as she makes an x mark using her arms to block Rex, ‘Rex is not an Awakened, although he is now in werewolf form I should be able to def–‘
Rosie thought that her strength is on par with Rex, but before she can finish her thoughts Rex’s strength shocked her so much.
Her hands try to block Rex’s claw but the power behind Rex is too much for her,
Her arms are slashed and her body flung backward, “Akkhhh!” Rosie grunts in pain after she bounced off the wall.
Blood drips from her mouth, Her hand has a bloody claw mark on it.
Rosie lifts her head up hazily, ‘He’s too strong!’ she thought. Her eyes starting to blur, she desperately tries to think of a way out.
Then suddenly, her eyes widened in realization.
‘Werewolf? That’s it!’, Rosie looks at the big window at her right.
‘The moon is its source of power, I need to close the curtain!’
Rosie muster the rest of her mana to her legs,
She propels herself towards the window, Her speed is fast enough to make Rex caught off guard.
Her hand tightly grip the curtain and immediately closes it,
Darkness soon covers the both of them,
After the curtain is closed, the moonlight can’t be seen anymore. It was pure darkness inside the room.
Rosie slump on the floor, she has exhausted all of her mana in that dash.
Thud…Thud…Thud…
Rosie tiredly looks up in Rex’s direction, she can saw Rex’s yellow eyes slowly approaching him.
Rex arrived in front of Rosie towering over her, He raises his hand intending to slash Rosie when suddenly,
‘Eh?’
A little bit of consciousness halted Rex’s hand,
He looks at Rosie who is bloodied all over, ‘What have I done?’.
He tried fighting it but his head is full of bloodlust, Rex looks at Rosie feeling guilty.
After mustering all his remaining willpower,
He jumped out of the window to get away from Rosie as far as possible, trying to avoid hurting her even more.
Thankfully, Rosie’s home is on the outskirts of Ratmawati City so it is near the Emham forest.
Rex runs into the forest, His little bit of consciousness leads him to run as far as possible from the crowd.
Not long after, a mighty howl can be heard from the Emham forest.

A big hulking creature with red skin is eating a dead deer, it lifts its head up after hearing the howl.
Compare to Rex, this creature is way bigger than Rex. It’s standing in two with a hideous-looking face, it has two sharp fangs coming out of its lower teeth and holding a club on his hand.
“Hmmm? There’s a Werewolf invading my territory?! He dares?!”, the creatures roar in anger before it stands up and bolted towards Rex’s howling sound, leaving the deer carcass.
