The day of the official alliance of UWO and SCO has arrived.
Rex woke up early this day just before the sun lit up the sky, he looks to the side and saw Adhara is still sleeping with her innocent look.
‘I don’t know how to tell her’, he thought from the side with a sigh.
After caressing Adhara’s hair for a brief moment, Rex woke up from the bed before taking a shower to freshen himself up.
Today is a big day, and Rex needs to prepare himself.
In the last couple of days, Gistella has finally become a full-fledged Werewolf but her condition worsened by the day as the need to hunt overwhelms her.
Rex uses his Alpha Aura to refrain her from doing something rash,
But from the looks of her condition, it seems even by using his command the effect of the nearing Wolf Moon is too much for her.
In just about five minutes or so,
Rex got out of the shower wrapped around a towel, he got out of the bathroom to only find Adhara leaning on the headboard of the bed turning to look at him.
“Adhara? You up already?”, Rex asks before he started to change his clothes.
Hearing this, Adhara cross her arms in front of her before she replied, “Do I need to prepare myself for whatever is going to happen today? I can tell from the way you’re acting”
Rex was stunned upon hearing this, he glance at Adhara with a wry smile.
“Yes, whatever happened today I want you to give me your full trust. No matter what happened”, Rex said emphasizing the last words of his sentence.
This somehow makes Adhara concerned, “Why do I feel something bad is going to happen?”
“Just be ready for anything that happens today, told the others too that we’re going to flee the university to Emham Forest. Be ready for my call”, Rex replied while heading to the door.
Before he left, Rex mentioned, “Leave Ryze here, It’s safer here when my plan is starting”
“Ryze is slowly regaining consciousness, but he will still not be able to move. Aren’t you going to check on him first?”, Adhara asks.
But Rex shakes his head, “I’ll check on him after the situation calmed down”
Adhara was about to say something more, but Rex already left.
She was stunned on the bed upon realizing what Rex said, ‘Emham Forest? If we’re going to that place again then there is only one explanation’, she thought in concern.
Every time they need to run back to the Emham Forest,
That means that something dire is happening to them, just like running from the Platchi before.
What Rex said basically means that they’re dealing with the Atkins Family today.
Rex got out of the room and suddenly saw a black crow on the handle of the sofa near the entrance, the black crow flaps its wings upon seeing Rex come out of his bedroom.
After the black crow landed on his arm, Rex then said, “Green Messenger…”
“Stop calling me that, you’re the Green Messenger now. Just call me Prof. K”, a voice suddenly came out of the black crow’s mouth that certainly belongs to Prof. K.
The black crow’s eyes turn green, it’s like the crow is possessed by Prof. K.
Hearing this, Rex sighs before he said, “Let’s finish the factories to lure him to Emham Forest, I’m going to need your help dealing with him”
“You’ve said that for the third time already, I know”, Prof. K replied.
Rex smiles wryly as he then added, “I’ll meet you in sector 3A, I need to bring my parents to safety first before we proceed as planned”
After saying that, Prof. K then replied, “Today is our meeting with the UWO”
“Don’t take too long or the King will find out about this, I’m sticking my neck on a silver platter for you so you better be grateful for this. I’ll teleport there using the black crow”, he added.
Rex nodded his head before the black crow turns into green smoke and vanish.
He then walks out of the room after the black crow vanish,
Upon stepping out of his room, Rex looks around the place and finds that there is no one in the university, completely devoid of lecturers or even students.
‘They’re all gone’, Rex thought shaking his head.
The meeting between the SCO and UWO is held in front of the public, because of that today becomes a holiday for the students and it seems they all have already left the university.
Even though the event hasn’t started yet, students are excited about this day so they can’t wait.
Not many of them have seen a black hand before, or even their powers.
So this makes them curious about the so-called black hands that have power that can rival an Awakened without the use of mana, the air of mystery is what piques their interest.
After scanning the entire university,
Rex only found a couple of little robots that are telling the direction, but then he saw a person walking toward him from the side.
From just a glance, he recognizes the person as Evelyn.
Upon being unable to meet with Rex for a couple of days, Evelyn’s eyes lit up seeing Rex.
“Rex!”, she shouted before started running toward him.
Seeing this, Rex turns his body towards Evelyn as he was also about to go and meet her, “Why are you avoiding me? I thought something happened to you”, she asks.
“Don’t worry about that, have you prepared the vehicles?”, Rex asks back.
Evelyn nodded her head upon hearing this, she then added, “I’ve already prepared to transport all of the parents, the route to Enham Forest is secured, no one will notice us”
“My men are ready, you just need to say the words”
Hearing this, Rex nodded his head in confirmation.
“Okay, get them there as soon as possible. After the attack, Wesley will definitely pursue us to the end of the world so I want them to be safe first”, Rex said.
When he was about to say something more, he suddenly frown as he notice something.
“What’s wrong?”, Evelyn asks in confusion.
Rex turns his body away and looks at every corner of the university, he scanned the university with his eyes before his frown becomes even more evident, “There’s no one here…”
“Of course, all of them are already left”, Evelyn mutters.
But Rex shakes his head still frowning, “No… something is wrong, there’s literally no one here”
Although the event of the meeting between the SCO and UWO gathers all attention from the entire Ratmawati City, the event is broadcasted and the place of the event will not hold the entire population of Ratmawati City.
There should be janitors or even guards that are still on standby at the university.
Rex doesn’t find any of them even using his senses, there’s literally no one inside of the university except him and the others who are inside his room.
Without waiting any further, Rex then grab Evelyn’s hand and went back to his room.
Inside the room, Rex glance at the table by the sofa.
There’s a slip of note there that he didn’t see before when he got out, he might’ve missed it.
Rex then takes the note from the table before he immediately opens it, he read the content as Evelyn also reads it from the side in curiosity.
But upon reading the note, “ADHARA!!”

Adhara got out of the bedroom quickly after hearing Rex call her,
She frowns when she saw Evelyn is with him, but the urgent expression on Rex’s face makes her turn her attention to Rex instead, “What’s wrong?”
“Gather the others, bring them out right now!”, Rex commanded sternly.
Hearing this, Adhara was about to ask if she should bring their parents too but Rex already intervenes her, “ALL OF THEM!”
A moment later,
The hallway of Rex’s room is already filled with the others, Gistella, Evelyn, Adhara, and even their parents are all gathered in the hallway confused.
Only Ryze was left hidden in the room, he’s still in a half-conscious state.
But out of all of them,
Adhara and Gistella are the ones that have confused looks on their faces, their parents are not confused but nervous instead.
Rex didn’t say anything as he went to his knee,

Out of nowhere, the entire ground lit up with a familiar formation.
After activating the formation, Rex looks at Evelyn before he instructed her seriously, “Take them to Emham Forest, don’t stop no matter what. I’ll distract them from you”
“Alright, just leave it to me”, Evelyn replied with a nod.
But before the light from the formation engulfs them, Rex went closer to Evelyn before he whispers something in her ears.
The others can’t hear what he whispered,
Upon hearing what Rex said, Evelyn widen her eyes in utter shock as she asks again, “Are you sure that’s a good idea? It’s not necessary and she will definitely be unstable!”
“Wesley needs to believe he’s winning, it must be done”, Rex replied decisively.
Leaving Evelyn who is still unsure, Rex turns his eyes to Adhara.
Rex approached Adhara before he kissed her right on her lips, this caught Adhara off guard but her daze was instantly interrupted when Rex suddenly said, “Trust me”

After saying that, all of them got teleported excluding Rex.
While they’re being teleported by the formation, Adhara looks at Rex with clear concern, she can only look at Rex with a troubled look before she got teleported.
The moment the others are teleported, a notification from the system appears.

While he’s dashing covered with black lightning, Rex looks around in thought, ‘Are they crazy? Has Wesley Atkins gone mad attacking me in the university?!’
‘I know what I sent will make him angry but I expect him to move after the fight’
In just a few seconds, Rex already exited the university before suddenly,

Rex saw Delta was sent crashing to the ground in front of him, she seems to be in a battle as Rex snapped his neck to the other side where he found eight people.
Just from the aura of these people alone, they’re definitely Awakened.
But there’s one figure that makes Rex grit his teeth, he can feel the overwhelming aura coming from this woman, ‘Shit! Peak Seventh Rank!’
“REX SILVERSTAR! YOU’RE GOING TO DIE TODAY!”, the woman shouted.
Hearing this, Rex didn’t idle around as he takes a white apple from the inventory and dashed toward Delta who is slowly getting up.
Rex shoved the white apple into Delta’s mouth before he shouted, “Delta let’s go!”
After eating the white apple, almost instantly Delta’s power got back as she even felt her entire body coursing with power before she dashes away.
Delta turns into a white streak of lightning surprising the woman,
“Indira, they’re running away!”, one of the Awakened shouted.
The woman that the Awakened called Indira turns out to be the peak the seventh rank Awakened, she glare at the Awakened as her body started brimming with violent wind.
She then cursed, “Go after them you fucking idiot!”

Indira turns into a gust of wind going after Rex and Delta, she was so fast that she creates a sonic boom breaking the sound barrier as she kicks the air.
Looking at this, the other Awakened also went after Indira.
After leaving the university premises, Rex was surprised that the entire place is devoid of people.
‘How did they do this? How did they clear the entire place?!’, Rex thought in surprise.
But his train of thoughts was interrupted when he heard a whistling sound of wind from his back, Rex glanced back and saw Indira is already closing like a fighter jet.
“Delta! Go Faster!”, Rex exclaimed but it seems she can’t.
While he’s under so much pressure, Devo suddenly suggested something as Rex touched Delta’s body and imbued her with his own mana.
This proves to be effective as immediately after that,

Delta and Rex become even faster surprising Indira, “What?!”, she exclaimed in surprise.
Indira is a peak seventh rank Awakened, two small realms higher than Rex and one major realm higher than Delta, but she loses in terms of speed even though she’s a Wind Elementalists.
This hurt her pride making her grind her teeth in annoyance,
Her eyes started to turn green as her spirit that take a shape of an eagle appeared behind her,
Although the spirit eagle is no way near as strong as Devo, it imbued Indira’s body with spirit energy before suddenly, “Great Spell! Burst of Wind!”

A small shockwave of wind was produced as she kicks the air propelling her forward even faster.
There’s an eagle spirit flapping its wings that appear on her back, it amplifies her speed as she catches after Rex in a blink of an eye,
Meanwhile, In the Wind Sorcerers Guild.
Wesley and Stevanus’s fight is already started as they battle with each other inside the training ground that is covered with a cocoon of barrier that is made by a woman.
If Rex were here, then he will know that the woman is Giana.
Giana is the ninth rank Awakened that Rex met in Beah city, she works along with Denzel Rogers and she seems to be on the jury of the fight between the two head families.

The destructiveness of the fight is on another level, it’s simply astonishing to see.
Each of their attack force surpasses Rex’s attack easily,
Both of them are an eighth rank Awakened after all, so this kind of power is to be expected.
The violent wind that was created from each of their collision shook the entire building, every sound they made in their collisions reverberated and are filled with power.
Flesh against flesh, these kinds of sounds filled the entire arena.
If not for Giana’s barrier, the entire building will crumble in an instant.

Wesley and Stevanus’ bodies are covered with line markings filled with spirit energy, they both are an eight rank Awakened that has already reached Spirit Unification.
But there are some differences between them,
On Wesley’s body, there seem to be green furs made of spirit energy that cover his back that enhance his speed to the point that his movement is like teleportation.
Even his face has a hint of spirit furs on it,
The Tosca color line marks on his body added with his glowing matching eyes are very terrifying.
Each of his strikes is very fast, precise, and filled with power as he teleports around the arena merging with the wind while sending attacks after attacks.
Stevanus on the other hand is covered with green armor,
The armor he had blocked every attack that was thrown by Wesley showed the defensive properties they had, it’s similar to a knight’s armor but made of spirit energy instead.
There are green orbs in the hole of his palms, he fires a powerful concentrated wind from them.

On their backs can be seen two Spirit Shadows,
One is a fierce two-headed eagle spirit that has majestic and huge wings, while the other is a fierce-looking knight holding a sword and a shield.
Both spirit shadows collided as Wesley and Stevanus throw up a mouthful of blood.
They got propelled back hitting the barrier made by Giana before falling to the ground, wounds are already covering their bodies as they slowly get up on their feet.
Even with holes and slash wounds around their bodies, they can still stand up.
An Awakened life force is way more powerful than normal humans, much less an eighth rank Awakened like them which are very close to the highest realm.
From a glance, it seems Stevanus has the upper hand.
Although their powers are equal and their spirits are also equal, Stevanus body is surrounded by hurricane wind that seems to amplify his strength by a notch.
This gives him a slight advantage against Wesley,
“You lose this time Wesley, I’ll be taking the ninth rank spot”, Stevanus said with rough breaths.
Hearing this, Wesley raises his gaze before he spits blood to the side, “The fight is not over until you defeat me, I won’t back down from a loser like you”
Stevanus smiles lightly upon hearing this,
“If that’s the case then so be it,”, he said before he started levitating in the air.
The same knight spirit appears behind Stevanus as a long sword made of spirit energy materializes in Stevanus’ hand, it’s charging heavily with mana as the spirit energy inside Stevanus becomes more violent.
After smirking at Wesley, Stevanus added, “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to not kill you”
“Pneuma Spell, Vindication Blade”

Stevanus’ sword glows brighter as half of the spirit energy gathers onto the long sword, this shows that he’s using the second circle Pneuma Spell.
With a fierce glint, Stevanus thrust down the sword, “Ultimate Spell, Heartstriker!”
Upon seeing this Wesley stands up strugglingly under the immense pressure from the sword, but instead of fear, there’s a smile on his face as if he’s confident in taking the attack.
The onlookers can feel the Pneuma Spell power that summons the Vindication blade,
Aside from that, the Ultimate Spell Stevanus uses also imbued the Vindication blade with more power, even the wind created by the combined attacks is like a spell of its own.
Even under such pressure, there’s not a hint of worry in Wesley’s expression.
While Stevanus is putting his all into this one attack, Wesley suddenly takes a crystal out of thin air as the smile on his face turns into a smirk.
