Rex punched the ground as the helipad spot cracked,
He wanted to put all of his strength into that punch but the last bit of sanity he had prevented him from doing so, he pulls his punch back at the last moment.
Even when Rex pulled his punch, the helipad spot still got cracked.
The cracking sound reverberated into the silent night alerting the guards that are at the entrance of the university, it probably won’t be long before they reach the rooftop.
But Rex didn’t care as he falls to the ground on all four,
“RAARRGHH!!!”, Rex shouted venting all of his pent-up emotions.
The fight he had with Durrant shows that he’s at least ready to defend himself in the Supernatural territory, even fighting against the other Undead proves his strength.
Just when he got confirmation that he indeed can walk into the Supernatural territory,
Adhara told him that the Reed Family is also lurking around them, she also told Rex about the matter regarding the sniper that attacked them the other night.
Many problems arises just after he left for a couple of days,
This makes Rex frustrated, his eyes turn red as he looks down to the ground with heavy breaths.
When Rex was about to punch the ground once again, he suddenly sensed someone reaching the rooftop as he turns his head to the side.
Adhara landed lightly as she looks at Rex with wide eyes,
Upon seeing Adhara, Rex looks back at the ground clenching his fist, and mutters, “Leave me, I’ll be downstairs after a couple more minutes”
But instead of listening to Rex, Adhara approaches him with light steps.
The slow and steady steps of Adhara can be heard as Rex stayed in his place, but his ears are numb from the surrounding sounds as he got something on his mind.
It didn’t take long for Adhara to reach him as she kneels beside him,
Rex’s heavy breathing stopped when he felt the warm touch coming from Adhara’s hand, he grabbed Adhara’s hand and mutters, “It’s my fault…”
“If I didn’t treat her that way, she might not think of sacrificing herself like that”
Hearing this, Adhara brings Rex to her embrace blocking a portion of his body from the moonlight that is already bleeding profusely.
Although she didn’t know why Rex’s body is like this,
The worries that came out of Rex’s mouth are not about his body, but he’s talking about Rosie instead.

The moment felt like an eternity as Rex feels the comfort Adhara gave him during tough times, he raises his gaze to look at Adhara’s face has her eyes closed.
Her expression shows that she tries to give comfort making Rex frozen for a moment.
But not long after that, a couple of auras can be felt making Rex’s eyes dart to the right.
These auras are supposed to be from the guards that heard the loud commission from the rooftop, and without saying anything Rex grabs Adhara’s body as they both disappear from their spot.
“What happened here?!”
“It should be someone’s doing, who dares to vandalize the university’s property?!”
Both guards approach the helipad spot before they crouch down to inspect the place, but both of them widen their eyes when they felt the surrounding mana, “Lightning mana?”
Just from this alone, both guards look at each other in disbelief.
From the lightning mana leftovers on this place, there can only be one person that did this and knowing this person they didn’t comment further as they left the place.
The next day,
“This is the first and last time I’m doing you a favor…”, a guy said with a sharp gaze.
The guy then sigh as he looks at the man in front of him and added, “If not that this will benefit the family, I wouldn’t help you at all!”
Hearing this, the man smiles, “I’m doing this for the family”
“Now, tell me. Did you find anything interesting, I told you to keep an eye on that kid”, the man asks with slight anticipation on his face.
If Rex were here, he will instantly recognize the two.
The two are Ari and Seve who seems to be in a cafe, both of them wears jacket and a mask.
Seve thought for a moment before he finally said, “I already did as you said, I kept an eye on Maurice and it seems you’re not wrong. I can feel he got closer with Rex, and he even sneak out in the middle of the night and came back with smiles on his face”
“He must go and meet with Rex, I’m certain that he got something from Rex since even his aura becomes a bit different than before”
Ari was listening to this attentively,
But then, Seve added, “I don’t know how but it seems Rex has something to store the treasure he got from the Supernatural territory, he takes out random things from thin air. It must be something he wore, and my guess is either his ring or his necklace”
“Thank you for helping me, I’ll find out more about this. Don’t meddle with this”, Ari said.
He stands up and left under Seve’s gaze, and after he leaves Seve then mumbles, “I hope this will end up good”, he then drinks the rest of his drink before he also left.
Faraday University,
Rex woke up from his sleep and saw that the sun is already up,
The sunlight penetrates through the window as he slowly got up from bed, Rex rubs his eyes a couple of times before he glances at his side.
On his side, Adhara is lying half-naked covered with a blanket still asleep.
Seeing her exposed back that has perfect linings to temp the eyes, Rex gulped harshly as he remembered last night when they both went wild.

Reading the notification from last night, Rex sucked in a cold breath as he didn’t remember exactly how many times he did it with Adhara.
Both of them just went wild last night disregarding everything,
’23 Times?! I know that I went ham last night, but isn’t this too much?’, Rex thought as he can’t believe he did it with Adhara that many times, he didn’t even think it was possible.
Shaking his head, Rex tries to stand up before he sat back down again.
The soreness he felt from his waist down was astonishing and defy all logic, ‘I’m a Werewolf, How did last night make me this sore?’, Rex thought with a wry smile.
A moment later,
Rex walks out of his room and senses that Edward is in the room.
Walking through the hallway after asking the maids to bring him water, Rex found that Edward is already sitting on the sofa and it seems Edward is waiting for him.
“You’re early, What’s wrong?”, Rex asks sitting on the sofa in front of Edward.
Hearing this, Edward leans back on the sofa before he asks back, “Did Adhara tell you yet?”
“She already told me everything that happened when I’m gone, and fine I’ll admit that you were right about the Reed Family. But you don’t have to worry about that, I already have their replacements”, Rex said while shrugging his shoulders.
This makes Edward frown as he said, “That’s it? You’re just going to replace them?”
“What do you want me to do? They’re just trying to find out how I become strong, and that alone is not enough of a reason for me to take them down. Especially since Ari is probably moving on his own”, Rex replied without much thought.
It’s not that weird for them to be curious about how Rex gained power,
Although Rex has never thought about this too much, he also already expected at some point someone will be trying to sniff on him about his rise in power.
“It’s not personal enough for me to eradicate them”, Rex added.
But this makes Edward’s face stiffen, “It might not be personal to you, but attacking Zelene becomes personal for me”
Hearing this, Rex glance at Edward and finds that he’s serious.
“I know you’re in a tough spot so I won’t pressure you, but I just want you to remember this and know that with or without your help I will get rid of Ari”, Edward stated with a heavy tone.
Rex waves his hand, “Don’t worry, I remember everything…”
“Then what about the Atkins? Are you also not going to let me compromise with them?”, Rex asks as the maids brought him the water he asked.
He chugged the water before asking for more,
Edward then shakes his head, “Compromising with the Atkins… I have no problem with that, Ari is the one that told Hans about my uncle and Zelene. So you can do anything with them”
“It’s the decision then, I’m going to meet with Wesley and try to compromise with him”, Rex said.
After saying that, Rex stands up from his seat intending to leave.
But Edward stopped him just by the door and asked, “Although you’re saying that, you also know that there is a high probability that they’re going to refuse. What are you going to do then?”
“Since I don’t have the time, I’ll just get rid of them”, Rex mutters lightly.
He then turns his body towards Edward before he added, “This is the last opportunity I’m giving Wesley to resolve this peacefully, if not then he’s going to be very sorry”
“If my parents asked, I’ll be back at noon”, Rex said before he left.
A moment later,
Adhara walks out of the room and saw Edward still sitting on the sofa, he was playing with his phone before his attention went to Adhara.
Looking at her, Edward smiles cheekily, “Why are you walking like that?”
“You walk like a penguin, does Rex gives you too much love last night?”, Edward added teasingly, he was trying to hold back his laughter as Adhara sat on the sofa in front of him.
With a grumpy voice, Adhara then replied, “He didn’t restrain himself at all!”
“Shouldn’t you be happy? I know you’re missing Rex every day when he’s out doing the mission from the UWO”, Edward said again which makes Adhara roll her eyes.
Adhara then looks around and asks, “Where is he anyway?”
“Rex is meeting with Wesley Atkins, he’s going to give Wesley the last chance to resolve their problems peacefully”, Edward replied with a sigh.
But right after saying that, the door suddenly got knocked on a couple of times.
Hearing this, Edward turns his head away making Adhara glare at him angrily before she stands up with quite a bit of struggle and heads to the door.
“Who is it?”, Adhara asks as she opens the door.
Her body suddenly stopped when she saw the person in front of the door,
There’s a woman standing in front of the door wearing a white t-shirt underneath a black leather jacket, standing on two long beautiful legs with a curvy body that makes her the dream girl of any guy.
But the most eye-catching appearance of the girl is the black choker on her neck,
Although she brought a graceful but seductive aura just from standing, the black choker added an extra flavor of wildness to her already fiery look.
Adhara’s face darkened when she saw the woman, “Evelyn…”
“What are you doing here early in the morning?”, Adhara asks with an unfriendly look, she’s looking at Evelyn with cold eyes while standing by the door.
Seeing Adhara is the one that opened the door, Evelyn then asks, “Is Rex inside?”
“It’s none of your business whether Rex is inside or not”, Adhara replied harshly, her expression showing that she really dislikes Evelyn.
Evelyn smiles sweetly but before she can say anything else,
Edward appeared on the side and saw Evelyn standing in front of the door, he looks at Adhara and Evelyn a couple of times before he sigh, “Come inside, don’t argue in front of the room like this”
Hearing this, Evelyn gave one last smile to Adhara before she walks past her.
But when she walks past her, she deliberately bumps her shoulder into Adhara making her body shoved to the side, “No she did not!”, Adhara mutters in disbelief.
Edward stopped her when he saw Adhara was about to jump on Evelyn,
“Don’t do that, she helped Rex fight the Atkins so refrain from doing anything rash”, Edward said as Adhara rub her face harshly.
The three of them then sat on the sofa,
Adhara and Edward sat beside each other while Evelyn sat across them with the same smile.
The smile on Evelyn’s face makes Adhara want to tear her to pieces but Edward’s glance stopped her, “So Evelyn, Why do you visit us today?”, Edward asks with a polite smile.
“I’m looking for Rex, Where is he?”, Evelyn asks back.
But Adhara immediately replied, “None of your busine-!”, she stopped mid-sentence when Edward closed her mouth with his hand.
“Rex is not here right now, I’ll tell him later that you’re searching for him”, Edward replied.
Adhara shoved Edward’s hand away as she pouted angrily, but seeing this Evelyn smiled in ridicule before she said, “Is he going to the Atkins to compromise with them?”
“How do you know that?!”, Adhara asks in shock.
Evelyn glance at her briefly before she replies with a mysterious smile,
Then Evelyn added as she stands back up, “If Rex is not here then please tell him to come to see me, I have something he might like while waiting for you to reach the sixth rank”
“If you’re going to say something to Rex, then just say it to me”, Adhara said abruptly.
Hearing this, Evelyn stopped mid-track as she glance back at Adhara who is looking at her sharply, “A fifth rank Awakened? I’m sorry but you’re aren’t there yet”
“What do you mean? Rex’s business is my business”, Adhara said sharply with a heavy tone.
This makes Evelyn smiles lightly before she sat back down, “If you really want to know then so be it. There’s another new canyon in sector 2C, I thought Rex might be interested since he needs resources to reach the seventh rank”
Adhara and Edward listen to Evelyn’s explanation,
But then Adhara replied, “If that’s the case, what’s in it for you?”
“Since there will be many descendants there, Rex’s presence is needed. As for what’s in it for me, you don’t need to know just tell Rex that”, Evelyn explained.
Hearing this, Adhara gritted her teeth as she said, “I will come with Rex”
“Rex already brought me the spirit, and it won’t take long before I reach the sixth rank. So I’m qualified enough to be there right?”, Adhara added decisively.

The tension suddenly rises by the second as Edward can feel that she’s about to say something bad, and when the words came out of Evelyn’s mouth Edward widen his eyes in shock.
