“You’re going to explain to me, How on earth you manage to kill an Enchanter…”, Sebrof said as he stands right in front of Rex, he has a stiff look on his face.
Just from his look itself, Rex knows that he can’t leave this room without answering.
Rex stares at Sebrof calmly as he tries to think of a solution, he was thinking so damn hard trying to not break his expression before he said, “I’m sure you already know how sir…”
Hearing this, Sebrof frowns as he walks back to his desk.
Although Rex said that confidently, in reality, he just said that to buy more time to think.
But from Sebrof’s expression, it seems to be working as Sebrof smoke his cigar and said, “Do you mean the spell that blocks out the sky? Does it links to the Werewolves’ reinforcement?”
Rex widens his eyes as he looks at Sebrof in surprise, ‘It seems he knows everything that happened’
‘But there’s no way that he knows everything, so let’s use that’, he thought before raising his gaze to meet Sebrof’s gaze who is waiting for him to answer.
Clearing his throat, Rex then said, “It’s precisely right after that”
“The spell used by the seventh rank Undead is somekind of an amplifier spell that can amplify the death energy for the Undead, this spell also seems to be a distress signal for the Enchanter when the seventh rank Undead is in trouble”
“At that time, I was unsure myself but then the Enchanter came with a handful of Undead”
The lies that came out of Rex’s mouth are flowing like a calm river as if he’s telling the truth, even his expression didn’t budge at all as there are no hiccups in between his sentences.
It’s hard for anyone to spot that he’s lying clearly but he definitely is,
But the thought of lying to Sebrof is not something that he can do lightly, Rex already makes sure that there are no holes that might indicate that he’s lying.
Only Rex can feel the effect of Durrant’s forbidden spell since he’s a Werewolf,
The descendants are not fighting against the Undead when the forbidden spell was conjured by Durrant, even if Sebrof asks them then they will not know exactly what the spell does.
Saying that the spell is used as a distress signal is not something that can be traced back.
But there’s one tiny problem that Rex realized while he’s explaining this,
Durrant was killed before he killed Yolgos, and during his process of killing Yolgos, there was Evelyn, Liliya, Velten, and Dray who knows about this.
Rex can’t take back his words so he needs to go through with it,
Sebrof is inspecting Rex’s expression as he listens to what Rex said, he finds Rex’s explanation plausible since killing the Enchanter itself is not hard.
The Enchanter killed by Sebrof was probably located in a war,
It’s sure as hell will be hard to kill an Enchanter on a battlefield filled with Undead, the Enchanter is definitely on the backline while spamming its defensive and buff spells for the Undead.
But if the Enchanter left and went on alone with a handful of Undead,
The Enchanter will surely be killed easily since the Enchanter itself is not strong, just like the way Rex killed Yolgos easily when Yolgos got separated from the other Undeads.
“Although you might say that, Why would the Enchanter leave the company?”, Sebrof asks.
He’s squinting his eyes while smoking his cigar, but Rex answers almost immediately, “My team has already been stationed near the city, it went out with a handful of Undead to not notify my team that the Enchanter has left the Undead company”
The answer makes Sebrof slightly nod his head repeatedly,
Rex is starting to smell the end of the conversation as he almost got out of this situation, but then suddenly, “That’s a nice excuse you have, but there’s one slight problem…”
“How did you force the seventh rank Undead to use that spell?”, he asks lightly.
Sebrof probed Rex’s aura with his red lightning mana before he added, “You have ridiculous mana for an early sixth rank Awakened, reaching mid-sixth rank or even peak. Strong bodily strength that puts you at the highest of the peak sixth rank, but that’s not enough to even threaten the seventh rank Undead…”
The words that came out of Sebrof’s mouth makes Rex sweat,
Although he’s monstrous in terms of battle power, there’s no arguing that in terms of mana he’s still just a sixth rank Awakened.
The Undead he claimed to fight is a seventh rank Undead, so it’s not possible to threaten it.
‘I can just bring the vial that I made that can weaken the Undead, but I can’t take it out of the inventory right in front of Sebrof’, Rex thought as he stands stiffly under Sebrof’s gaze.
He left his bag with Evelyn so he can’t take out random things with the inventory.
Rex can feel Sebrof’s eyes are suspiciously looking at him before suddenly,

The door handle of the room was opened as Vargas enters the room, he stopped when he saw the weird tension in the room with Sebrof and Rex gazing at each other.
“I’m sorry to interrupt you sir Sebrof, but I’m afraid Rex is tired”, Vargas said.
Hearing this, Sebrof scoffs as he sits on his seat, “What are you saying, Vargas? Just look at him, the kid doesn’t even have a scratch on his body”
But this makes Vargas approach Sebrof with light steps,
Vargas then leans to Sebrof’s ears before he whispers something to him, and Sebrof’s eyes widen as he looks at Vargas as if asking him if what he said is true.
With a reluctant look, Vargas then said, “You are dismissed”
Rex was caught off guard by the sudden dismissal, he was looking at Vargas and saw him nodding.
After getting the green signal from Vargas, Rex cast one last look at Sebrof before he bowed his body slightly and left the room.
Rex closes the door behind him as he was still confused about what Vargas whispered,
‘I don’t know what Vargas whispered to Sebrof, but that saved me from that difficult spot’, Rex thought as he went back to Evelyn who is taking care of Delta and Gistella.
Evelyn’s eyes meet with Rex as she approached him, “How did it go?”
“He’s asking about how did I kill the Enchanter. But I can’t explain it to you right now, I need to get back to the university now”, Rex said as he takes his bag and signaled for Gistella to get on Delta.
After saying that, Rex turns his body to Evelyn, “Why are you still here? Aren’t you going home?”
Hearing this, Evelyn didn’t answer as she points to the side.
Rex follows where Evelyn points and saw Gerrard is walking toward him,
Gerrard is accompanied by a white-masked man that is surprisingly bigger than Rex, even when Rex scan the white-masked man he got nothing except question marks.
It seems the white-masked man is an eight rank Awakened or even higher,
“Gerrard? Do you have something to say to me?”, Rex asks in confusion.
Upon hearing this, Gerrard looks at the white-masked man before he turns his head back to Rex, “I know that you’re the one that contributes to the mission the most and resulting the mission going smoothly”
After saying that, Gerrard glanced at the UWO building and said, “You must have secrets”
“But who doesn’t? So we’re even now, that’s all I’m going to say”, he added before the white-masked nodded his head as they both turns into light and disappear from the place.
Rex was still dazed by Gerrard but he suddenly realized what he meant,
‘So that’s your doing? Is this how you thank someone?”, Rex thought with a smirk, he realized that the one that brings him out of Sebrof’s interrogation is not Vargas but Gerrard instead.
Although that’s the case, Rex doesn’t know how he did that, ‘That’s the first rank family I guess’
But right after Rex finished, he saw Valery approach him this time shyly.
Rex knows that Valery is also going to thank him but he has enough of this today, but then suddenly, “I know it’s tiring for you to get these kinds of treatment, but I assure you, you don’t want to miss out on Valery’s gratitude”, Evelyn whispers.
“What makes you say that?”, Rex asks curiously.
Evelyn whispers something again that makes Rex widen his eyes,
He even looks at Evelyn with green eyes as he glances back at the approaching Valery, ‘She’s right, I don’t want to miss this one out’, Rex thought with a smile.
A moment later,
Rex was about to leave for the university but was stopped,
There’s a commotion coming from the entrance of the UWO building as the security guards are overwhelmed by a group of journalists that are trying to break in.
All of the journalists’ eyes lit up when they saw Rex,
“That’s Rex Silverstar!!”
“Quick get to him!”
“Sir Rex!! How’s the first mission alongside the black hands from the SCO?!”
“Is it true the mission went smoothly thanks to you?!”
“Tell us more about the situation in Eqosa City, Does the coalition between the descendants of the 25 and the black hands manage to fend the Supernatural off?!
Questions upon questions were thrown at Rex as the journalists surround him,
The flashing of the cameras and the mics shoved on his face caught Rex utterly off guard, he was not expecting the mission success has attracted the media this much,
But thinking clearly, it shouldn’t come as a surprise.
All of the descendants from the 25 Golden Crest Families are called to the UWO office, this alone should attract the attention of the media.
The media should investigate this mission because of that,
By now, the media should know that this mission is also the first mission done by Awakened and the Black Hand which makes this a hidden gem for journalists.
They all wanted to be the first to post an article about this mission,
Rex looks to the side and finds Evelyn is already gone,
Thankfully, Gistella is already on top of Delta and the journalists are hesitant to approach Delta who looks very menacing with her muscular and big body.
Without answering the journalists,
Rex leaped onto Delta before he signals for Delta to leave the place, he doesn’t need this much attention on him since it will be very bad for him.
Unknown to Rex, Sebrof is looking from inside the UWO building,
Sebrof saw how Rex was crowded with the journalists as a smile crept on his face,

Rex went back to Faraday University while mounting Delta,
It doesn’t take long for him to reach the university but it’s still already night when he came back, the night street is still packed with people as Delta lands in the parking lot of the university.

Even the security guards and some lecturers were alerted when Delta landed there, but when they saw Rex riding Delta they all lower their weapons as their expression turns into utter disbelief.

All of the students who marvel at Delta gasp in disbelief,
Rex didn’t blame them since Delta’s change in appearance is clear as day, she becomes even more monstrous with her huge body that even makes a car looks tiny.
Not only that, Delta now has peak sixth rank power.
The first Awakened that birthed the term Zeragon rides a silver mutated animal almost identical to a dragon and that mutated animal has seventh rank power.
Delta now is nearing that realm in just a span of two months,
So the surprise looks on the people looking at Delta is not a surprise, Rex is now an upper-tier Zeragon that rides a peak sixth rank mutated white wolf, Delta.
One of the security guards approaches Rex hesitantly,
Without minding the city guards’ hesitant look, Rex shackles Delta and gives the red pole to the security guards, “Use this to restrain her in the garden”
After saying that, Rex pats Delta’s head before he walks into the university.
Before departing here, Rex already told Gistella to change into more normal clothes but she still needs to cover her face with a black mask as per Rex’s instruction.
It’s regarding her face, that’s all.
Rex knows that the students here respect him, but if it’s regarding Gistella they might do something crazy that will bring trouble, especially since Gistella doesn’t have any human senses.

Rex stopped just when he was about to enter the university when three people blocks him, he was not familiar with the three people but it seems they know him.
One of them then said, “Sir Rex, may we have a moment?”
Hearing this, Rex glanced at the three of them before he nodded his head.
There’s no hostile aura coming from the three so Rex decided to follow them, and Rex already scans the three of them and found that they won’t be able to beat him.
After walking to a more secluded place, the three of them stop.
Rex looks at them in confusion with Gistella on his side before out of nowhere, the three bowed simultaneously in front of Rex, “Greetings to the Green Messenger!”
‘What the fuck?!!’, Rex screamed inside his head as the three caught him off guard.
