Great Barricade, Vampire Stronghold.
The sun is up shining on the sky forcing the Vampires to hid under the shadow, only the undead can be seen walking around the stronghold as patrol and guard of the Stronghold.
With the sun shining brightly, the Vampires can't really come out.
Only some of the higher Vampires can come out while the normal Vampires can't, the sunlight stings them and overlong of exposed to the sunlight will make them thirsty of blood.
But even with the sunlight upon the sky,
Many of the Vampires clad with full plate armor can be seen patrolling the place, they're all at least fifth rank that can still fight under the sunlight.
In front of the Stronghold, there are a couple of undead,
The eye-catching one is the one wearing what seems to be a Japanese-style samurai armor with two blazing green katana on its hands.
Even just by its look, this particular undead looks very strong.
While this undead is on standby in front of the stronghold, it suddenly turns its eyes towards the right after seeing a group of Vampires retreating back.
There are at least twenty of them,
More than half of the Vampires are injured needing to be supported, and this makes the samurai undead looks at them, "What happened? The humans are attacking?"
Hearing this, the Vampire that seems to be the leader of the group said, "Yes! We need blood!"
After seeing that these Vampires are almost beaten half death with numerous wounds on their bodies, the samurai undead looks at the top of the stronghold wall behind him and signals for the guards up there to open the gate.
With a rough screeching sound, the gate opened a little as they all went inside.
"Fetch us some blood! Quick!", the leader of the group of Vampires shouted while looking around trying to find help.
It didn't take long for the undead to bring the blood,
The undead carries a basket of blood hurriedly after seeing the Vampires are dying,
The leader of the Vampire group gives the injured Vampire some blood, he scoop blood with a cup and gives them slowly to the injured Vampire.
But when he was just halfway through the injured Vampires, the cup hit the bottom of the basket.
"Why did you bring so little? Bring us more!", the leader of the Vampires scolded after seeing the basket is already empty from blood.
Hearing this, the undead shakes its head, "There's left"
"What happened? I need to report this to the general", the samurai undead asks.
With a helpless look, the leader of the Vampire stands up reluctantly with the remaining injured Vampires still wailing in pain as he said, "Humans, We found that they're bringing their war machines to destroy our walls. We intercept them but turns out the Cessation Knight is waiting for us and ambushed us"
"Tell me the location", the samurai undead said as he signals to an undead to take a map.
The undead brings the map to them not long after, the leader of the Vampire then looks at the map before he points at a spot five miles east from the stronghold.
After giving the location, the undead samurai burns with green decayed energy.
"Report to the General about the situation, and you!", the samurai undead points at an undead much smaller than him wearing black armor and continues, "Bring me fifty High Undead and meet me at the front"
A moment later,
The leader of the Vampire group enters the newly built castle in the middle of the stronghold, there are two castles one belonging to the Vampire while the other is for the undead.
Although both have the same castle style, the energy coming out of both castles is different.
Entering the left castle, the leader of the Vampire immediately went to the throne room where a couple of thrones seat were located that belongs to the Royal Vampire.
The leader of the Vampire group looks left and right trying to find King Solomon,
But to his surprise, King Solomon is not there.
"What brings you here, Do you have something to report?", a soothing female voice suddenly said making the leader of the Vampire group glance to the left.
On the left, there is a female Vampire there sitting leisurely on her throne.
The female Vampire is wearing a black dress covering her body, the neck area is maroon in color making the female Vampire look elegant and dignified. She dangles her feet as she lies on the throne beautifully, but her eyes are intimidating as she looks at the leader of the Vampire group.
Without a doubt, the female Vampire is a Royal Vampire.
"Duchess Demelza!", the leader of the Vampire gasped before he kneels in front of her.
Demelza waves her hand after seeing the Vampire kneel on the ground before the Vampire said, "There humans Warmachines are heading towards us, they intend to breach our wall together with the Cessation Knight of the humans"
"Is that so?", Demelza replied before straightening her position on the throne.
But before she can say anything, the Vampire added, "Lord Vayle of the Undead is heading to the spot right now with a group of High Undead, but we have to help them since the Cessation Knight might ambush them just like they did on us"
"Very well…", Demelza said before she clap her hand.
Right after she clapped her hand, two Vampires appear on her side as she said, "Marta, Leon, you go help Vayle. I don't want anything to happen to this stronghold during my visit, Do you understand?"
"Yes, Queen Demelza", they both replied in a union.
After that, they both left the throne room, but when Demelza was about to dismiss the leader of the Vampire, "Duchess Demelza, There's one more thing"
"Our blood supply is running low", he added meekly.
Hearing this, Demelza looks at him calmly and replied, "I already sent the message about our blood shortage, they will come in a bit"
The leader of the Vampire group nodded his head lightly,
But when he was about to excuse himself, the throne room door opened as a Vampire walked in with a shocked expression making Demelza frown.
"Duchess Demelza, One of our Supply Point has sent a distress message", he said hurriedly.
Hearing this, Demelza's eyes widened in anger as she mumbles with a frown, "They got attacked? How did the human do it? That place is guarded by a Royal Family"
But then, the Vampire added, "It's not the humans"
"What do you mean it's not humans? Who else would it be", Demelza replied sharply.
The Vampire looks down for a couple of seconds before he takes a deep breath, "The message said that they're surrounded by Elves…"
Upon hearing the last word, Demelza looks at the Vampire in shock.
She tries to search for a sign of lie but the Vampire is very serious upon saying this, and this makes her frown even more, "Bring two hundred Vampires with you and ask the Undead to send help, strengthen the other Supply Point"
The Vampire nodded his head,
"And also, make sure to report this to King Solomon", Demelza added sharply.

Meanwhile,
The door to Rex's room is opened as Stuart the butler went inside after knocking a couple of times, there is a tray on his hand with a bottle of alcohol and a glass on the tray.
"Excuse me lady Adhara", he said before he puts the bottle and the glass on the table.
Stuart glance at Adhara who is wearing a black dress with her back exposed, she also wears jewelry such as a necklace, earrings, and a ring. All of them are gold in color making the jewelry highlighted more especially since she wears a black dress.
Looking at Adhara who is sitting in front of the dressing table, Stuart can't help but praise her beauty.
But then Stuart notice Adhara's gloomy expression,
"Is it alright for you to drink this early lady Adhara? Don't you think its best if you drink later at night?", Stuart suggested since this is still two o'clock.
With Rex accompanying Kyran to prepare for the Full Moon, she's all alone here with Ryze.
Adhara glance at Stuart with a stoic expression for a couple of seconds, without saying anything she takes the bottle of alcohol pours it on the glass and drinks it in one go.
She did it a couple of times without a pause,
Seeing this, Stuart smiles wryly as Adhara seems to be in a bad mood.
But then, Stuarts' eyes are attracted to a set of daggers placed beside the bed that looks absolutely gorgeous and he frowns in confusion since he never saw these daggers.
"Is this from Rex?", Stuart asks while pointing at the daggers.
The daggers are placed hidden beside the bed, it seems Adhara didn't use the daggers lightly since the daggers don't look like normal daggers.
Hearing this, Adhara glance at the daggers, "That?"
She stands up from her seat and takes the daggers, the daggers make a slight steely sound as if the daggers are boasting their sharpness.
Stuart gasp upon looking at the daggers closely,
The dagger's grip is a very dark purple color, Adhara's grip fits perfectly with the daggers. The cross-guard part is steel with a purple stone in the middle, there's a rune just above the cross-guard on the blade that is shaped like a bird carved from above.
"Yes it's from Rex", Adhara said while holding the daggers.
Stuart then asks, "I never saw you use them, Why didn't you give it a go?"
"I tried to use it once, but…", Adhara said while remembering the first time she used it.
Stuart looks at Adhara expectantly, "But what?", he asks.
"Let's just say that the daggers are not normal daggers, it's like it has a conscious inside of it that makes my fire go havoc every time I tried using these daggers", Adhara added with a wry smile.
Adhara tries to use it on the training ground for the first time,
But when she used these daggers, her fire went crazy and scorch the entire place but thankfully she was in a personal training room so nobody saw this.
Since then, she hasn't tried the daggers again.
While they were both was talking about the daggers, the door got knocked again, "That must be Edward, I'll get going now", she said after putting the daggers back and taking her black purse.
"Tell Ryze that I will be gone until tonight", she added.
After opening the door, Edward is already standing in front of the room.
Edward is wearing a formal outfit, black turtleneck sweater, black pants, and black shoes completely matching Adhara's black dress outfit.
Only the bracelet on his wrist contrast with his outfit, it's golden color.
Even Stuart can't help but praise the matching of the two, their outfits perfectly fit each other as if they already planned this beforehand.
"You ready? It'll take us about three hours to get there", he said while raising his arm.
Although he seems relaxed, Edward was stunned to see Adhara that looks beautiful but his eyes averted, and saw Stuart with a bottle of alcohol on the tray.
Seeing this, "Are you drinking? You know that the meeting is important right?"
"Just shut up and let's go", Adhara said while holding Edward's arm and pulling him away.
A couple of minutes later, both of them stopped in front of a black sports car.
Adhara frowns when she saw this, the car is attracting gazes from the students passing by, "Where did you get this car from? Where's your usual car?"
"I rent it", Edward replied plainly.
After saying that, Edward opened the door for Adhara and said, "Since your boyfriend hasn't bought me a new car yet, I'm stuck with renting cars"
Hearing this, Adhara giggle sweetly.
But this makes Edward roll his eyes instead as Adhara got inside the car.
When Edward was about to get inside the car, a voice suddenly called his name making him frown since he immediately know who it is, "Edward!"
"Edward! Over here!", the voice called out to him again for the second time.
Edward glanced to the right near the entrance into the university and found an old man and a girl beside him that is waving at him with a smile.
Seeing this, Edward widen his eyes as he open the door and said, "Wait for a moment"
"Where are you going?", Adhara asks in confusion, they will be running late if they get delayed any longer which defeats the purpose of a good impression for Daniel Burton.
After saying that, Edward strides hurriedly towards the two.
Looking at Edward walking towards them, both the old man and the girl also walk towards him excitedly making Edward scratch his head.
"Wow, you look handsome!", the girl commented after looking at Edward's outfit.
The old man then also added from the side, "Who's the girl you were with? Why didn't you introduce her to us?"
Hearing this, Edward was confused about what to do.
He looks around warily before he pulls them both to the side, "You two can't be here…"
While Edward is talking to both of them, Adhara is looking at them from inside the car with a frown, "Who are they?", she mumbles.
