"Now, What am I going to do with the Trench Predator Group", Rex mumbles in thought.
The meeting with Wesley before has been really informative, Wesley's knowledge went far than what he expected it to be.
But what surprises him more is that Wesley knows about the event that happened during his time as a Scavenger, he didn't do anything to the Trench Predator Group since he didn't put much thought into it.
Turns out that event just bite him from the back,
'If the Atkins know about that, they'll only suspect me as a Spy', Rex thought in relief.
Wesley finds out about the Shapeshifter that pays him a visit and also the Vampires that attacked him in the Supernatural territory, the only red flag is that the Atkins thought Rex is working with them.
It's better rather than them suspecting him to be a Supernatural.
The latter will be way worst and Rex can't let this suspicion grows into that, which is why Rex told Wesley that he knew about his wife's status.
With that, at least Wesley will be distracted from finding out how he knows about that.
Especially this connects to the Burton Family's scandal, it's not just some washed-up scandal but an actual big scandal that Wesley will not want the public to know.
After thinking for a moment, Rex looks back at his phone.
There is interesting news that he saw but got interrupted by the call from Vargas.
Rex opened the news app and taps on the screen a couple of times, then he was sent to a page that interested him greatly since the headline is very groundbreaking.
He reads through the page for a moment before he sits back down in thought.
The news was about undergoing a project to tackle the Demonic Cities problem, the project is about an invention of a device that can detect Supernatural energy.
Since the Demonic Cities happened because a human turned into a Demon.
UWO Office near Faraday University has been turned into a UWO Research Department Office, their sole task is to develop this device to prevent this from happening.
They will install this device upon success in Ratmawati City,
If this device is successfully invented and completed, any Supernatural or human turned Supernatural will be detected no matter where they are in the city.
Rex sigh as he sits on the bench accompanied by the rattling night,
'Will I need to leave the human territory eventually?', Rex thought while looking up to the sky.
Although the project is still in the early process, with the Demonic Cities incident there's no doubt that the UWO will put much effort into finishing that project.
So it won't take long for them to complete it,
Especially when Rex manages to band the UWO and SCO together, the Green Messenger will definitely be able to make that device with the help of UWO's facility.
It's ironic if Rex think about it,
His goal of banding the SCO and UWO together might just decrease the time of the project.
But he knows that humanity needs to stand on one ground to win against the Supernatural, it's not a big deal for him to abandon humanity's ground if that will result in humanity winning.
"Better just prepare for that time to come", Rex mumbles as his heartfelt pained.

Meanwhile,
Adhara is currently sitting on the sofa near the entrance, from the sweat around her body, it seems that she just got back from training.
Not long after she sat playing with her phone on the sofa, the door opened.
She glance at the door and saw Kyran walking in slowly, he stopped when he saw Adhara sitting on the sofa beside the entrance while looking at him.
"Where were you?", Adhara asks in confusion.
From the morning until now, Adhara didn't meet with Kyran at all.
Rex asks her to tell Kyran to use the Bonecrypt Kavis that he left in the room, but she doesn't manage to tell Kyran as he was missing all day.
Hearing this, Kyran shrugs his shoulders, "I'm training of course"
"The Canyon is a good place to train, you should try fighting the mutated animals there instead of fighting the robots in the training ground", he added before walking away.
But Adhara stopped her when she saw a black rune on Kyran's arm.
"You almost reach the fifth rank?! That's great news!", Adhara said as she approaches Kyran.
Kyran smiles lightly, the rune on his arm is shaped like a black flower with seven petals surrounding the middle. One might mistake it to be a black sun because of its shape, but upon closer look, it certainly is a flower.
He then activates his dark element making the black flower glows with dark energy.
From the rune that almost lit up entirely, Adhara realizes that Kyran is around mid or peak fourth rank Awakened and just a tad shy from reaching the fifth rank.
Adhara looks at the rune excitedly before her eyes suddenly fall to a red stain on Kyran's shirt.
"What is this?", Adhara asks as she squints her eyes suspiciously.
Kyran's smile vanishes before he shrugs his shoulders again which makes Adhara start to get angry, he wanted to leave but Adhara stopped him, "Let me look at it"
"I told you, I fight with some mutated animals this might be theirs", Kyran said nonchalantly.
But feeling annoyed by Kyran's excuses, Adhara approach him grabbed his shirt, and smell the shirt before her eyes widen in surprise, "I know what that smell is, Where were you?"
"You misunderstand, it's just mutated an-"
Before Kyran can finish, Adhara then grabs his hand and pull him to the sofa.
She then glare at Kyran angrily, "Just tell me where were you right now, or Rex will find out and you will be in much more trouble"
Hearing this, Kyran hesitated for a moment.
"It's human blood, Who did you kill?", Adhara asks demandingly.
Although she can't really smell the stain clearly from afar, Adhara can smell the smell of blood up close and since she has a fair share of human blood she knows that the smell is not mutated animal's blood.
Kyran twists his hand angrily slapping Adhara's hand away, "Leave me alone!"
After doing that, Kyran went to his room and slammed the door angrily making Adhara touch her forehead in a panic as she realizes that Kyran did something.
"This is bad", she mumbles.

The next day,
Rex called for the others to tell them about his meetings with Wesley Atkins, he told them all from start to finish about how Wesley threatened him.
Kyran, Adhara, and even Edward listen to him attentively.
When he finished telling the others, Edward frowns before he suddenly said, "Unless Wesley have hard proof, he won't have enough to bring you down"
All eyes cast to Edward as he continues,
"I mean think about it, If Wesley has enough proof then he didn't have to threaten you at all. The FAA would've arrested Rex if he had proof, but it's clear that he didn't have any"
Rex and the others nodded their heads,
"But they have a witness", Adhara added from the side.
Aside from telling the meeting with Wesley, Rex also told them about the event that Wesley is referring to since they need to know this.
Rex told them about the Trench Predator Group, and also the Shapeshifter attack.
He also told them about the dirt he got on Wesley from Evelyn, it's very useful but Rex warns them to be careful in talking about this dirt.
It's related to the Burton Family, and Rex doesn't want them to get involved.
Rex then replied, "Witness has little impact, they need to have a really solid proof if they want to accuse me of being a Supernatural Spy"
"Shouldn't we do something to that Trench Predator Group?", Kyran suddenly asks.
Hearing this, Rex glanced at him for a moment before he said, "No, We need to settle the problem first before doing anything to them"
Kyran nodded his head in understanding, but then he glance to the left.
On his left, Kyran saw that Adhara is looking at him with a meaningful look before Kyran avoid her gaze making Adhara bit her lips.
"Everything will be fine, I'm not a Supernatural Spy", Rex said calmly.
Edward then said, "Yes but we still need to add an extra layer to your parents, they need to be protected remember?"
Rex frowns upon hearing this,
"What do you mean? They're safe with the Reed Family guarding them", Rex replied in confusion.
But upon hearing this, Edward shakes his head "At least an extra layer of protection is better, we can't just put all of our trust to the Reed Family. Besides, What if the Atkins try something desperate to capture your parents"
"We have a deal, that's why I put them there in the first place", Rex said.
He then continues, "As for the latter, we will be on the offensive now"
The others look at Rex in confusion, but Edward has a hint of unwillingness in his eyes wanting to say something more but Rex beats him to it.
"Since Wesley just confront me, that means he's turning this cold war into open", Rex said.
Wesley just walks into Faraday University which is Rex's territory and straight-up threatened him, this just shows that Wesley is ready to take on Rex or he's just that prideful.
But nevertheless, this feud between him and the Atkins is now opened.
"So, What are we going to do?", Adhara asks making a grin appear on Rex's face.

Near a city outside of Ramawati City,
Two guys are currently wandering inside a forest with a bow strapped on their backs.
Based on their leather clothing covered with chainmail, the dirt on their faces making them blend into the surroundings, and the mutated animals one of the guys carried. They seems to be a hunter of some sort that hunts for a living.
Rattle…
SWOOSH!
An arrow flew from one of the hunter's bows, it was fast and precise heading to where the rattling sound can be heard.
Bleat!
"Whew! That's what I called bullseye!", the hunter that shot the arrow said.
A wailing sound from an animal can be heard after the arrow flew, it's clear that the arrow hit something even through the dark night.
It's impressive to say the least,
Hearing this, the other hunter beside him scoff playfully, "That's not as good as my shot to the bear earlier, but I admit that your reflex is fast but not as fast as me though"
"Shut up man, you're just jealous", the hunter replied.
Both of them then proceed to check the mutated animal, but they know by the sound of it, the mutated animal should be a deer.
After cutting through the thick bushes with a short sword, they didn't find the deer.
"Where is it? I swear I heard the sound from somewhere around here", the hunter said in confusion, they still didn't find any mutated deer.
Swish…
The sound of the bushes moving again can be heard,
Hearing this, one of the hunters holds a bow ready on his hand while the other holds the short-sword warily since they can feel something is wrong.
Both of them put their backs against each other without them even communicating.
The experience they both had in hunting seems to be very high, their bodies moved on their own as they open their eyes and ears warily.
"What do you think it is?", the hunter asks.
The other hunter looks left and right before he replied, "It must be a mutated wild cat or something bigger, it can take the deer easily before we find it"
Swish…
After a couple of swishing sounds, the hunters started to become nervous.
If what they thought to be the mutated animal messing with them is true, then the mutated animals didn't need this long to stalk them from the darkness.
Many of the mutated animals usually jumped on them instantly but this one is not.
Then suddenly,
SWOOSH!
A black shadowy figure went past them, it was so fast that they can't really see the shape of the black shadowy figure even after it went past them.
"What was that?!", the hunter asks.
But then, he suddenly felt nothing on his back.
When he turns his body to the back, the hunter's eyes widen in surprise as he didn't find his partner that is supposed to protect his back.
Fear started to grip the hunter's heart,
THUMP!
The shadowy figure landed in front of the hunter with its fierce eyes.
Looking at the figure in front of him, the hunter let go of his bow after seeing that the figure in front of him is towering and it stands on two!
Even a deadman will recognize the figure in front of them, it's a Werewolf…
SLASH!
The Werewolf that has grey fur slashed the hunter in two with a flick of his hand, and after doing that, the Werewolf instantly devour the flesh of the meat of the hunters.
"Jarvald, We need to keep moving", Vivian said after appearing beside Jarvald.
Hearing this, Jarvald stands back up after eating half of the hunter before his eyes look to the front where lights can be seen.
Jarvald points to his front and said, "We already arrived"
"Is this really the place?", Vivian asks as she looks at the lights in front.
While wiping the blood around his muzzle, Jarvald then replied, "It's the city besides this forest so it must be this one, there's no doubt about it"
"Are you sure she will know how to undo the curse?", Vivian asks.
Jarvald glance at her weirdly before he said, "Of course, she's the expert of curses. Although this one is probably new, I think she will do just fine"
"Besides, she's the mother of the Chaos Siblings"
