'Did I miss something?', Rex thought as he looks at Kyran in confusion.
The scene that he's seeing right now greatly shocked him since it never crossed his wildest mind, he thought that Kyran doesn't have the gut to do something like this.
Rex only told Kyran to try is because of what he did to the maid before.
Although he asks him to interrogate the Vampire, Rex didn't expect a thing since even himself can't make the Vampire talk even after trying all sorts of torture methods.
In front of Rex lies the Vampire still chained like before,
But this time the Vampire is in somekind of a basket of black water, the lower half of the body is gone as the Vampire dangles on air with the chains holding him up. Blood flows out from the Vampire's body into the basket of water making the Vampire weaker and weaker.
Kyran almost drains the Vampire from blood entirely,
Beside the basket of water, Rex can see numerous limbs of the Vampire.
It seems Kyran cut off its limbs and let them grow back before cutting them again, this stains the ground with a pool of blood.
Numerous unspeakable leftovers from the torture Kyran did can be seen throughout its body.
Rex walks closer to the Vampire and inspects the black water with the system, he was quite surprised when he saw the notification from the system.
<Dark Linzite Water>
This water is produced from a mix of Linzite, water, and also Dark Element. The product of the mix created this Dark Linzite Water that has its effect amplified, this now doesn't only hurt the Vampires but upon touching it a Vampire will feel their skin boiling and excessive exposure will vaporize them. It's pure Anti-Vampire Water.
'Did Kyran make this?', Rex thought in surprise.
With a sigh, Rex lifts the Vampire's head and can sense that the Vampire is barely alive.
Its left eye is blind with black complexions surrounding its left eye, the black complexions spread throughout its body and they look gruesome as it makes the Vampire's skin start decaying and even lets out a disgusting odor.
Rex can also see the sign of struggling around the place,
When he looked down, Rex can also see that the regenerative ability of the Vampire is still kicking in but every time it tries to heal the lower part of its body the black water vaporized it again.
Kyran makes sure to put enough water to prevent the Vampire to regenerate its lower half.
It's sadistic, and this makes Rex frown.
[You've got quite a subordinate, he's young but has so much potential], Devo suddenly said.
Hearing this, Rex felt a mixed feeling.
He doesn't know whether he should be happy that he got someone that is good at doing stuff like this, or sad that the innocent kid when he first met Kyran is nowhere to be seen.
This makes Rex feel conflicted, and Devo chuckles upon feeling Rex's conflicted feelings.
'Since when did he become like this? I know I taught him to be ruthless but this?', Rex thought as he look at Kyran in disbelief.
"What?", Kyran asks innocently while still wiping the blood.
Rex shakes his head before he asks, "So, What did you find out from this Vampire?"
After Rex asks that, Kyran told him everything that he found from the Vampire to the smallest detail leaving nothing that he didn't tell.
From what Kyran explains, there are two important things that Rex found.
The first one is about Rosie,
Based on what the Vampire said, there is a blood ritual that the Queen conducted occasionally for the Origin. The Queen will take the sacrifice up the stairs as one by one the sacrifice started to die, she has never been able to reach the top of the place.
The Vampires found that Rosie has special blood, and they're going to use Rosie as a sacrifice.
For the second one,
Kyran explains that the Vampire King has just issued for Rex's capture, the Vampires are keeping this a secret, and Rex concludes that they must not want the Werewolves to know about his existence.
Just like Jarvald before, the Werewolves will fight the Vampires if they were to realize his existence.
The Royal Bloodline that is flowing through Rex's body seems to be special, he doesn't know exactly what it is but the Vampires are keen on killing or capturing him as long as the Werewolves didn't find out about him.
"They even will reward whoever that catches you a Duke or Duchess position", Kyran added.
Hearing this, Edward was put into thought as he said, "Based on what I know, there is only one Duchess in the Vampire Kingdom and that is the Demelza Family"
"How good is that position for a Vampire?", Rex asks.
Edward then replied with a serious expression, "It's like being the King himself, no one can stand up to them as they're on a spot above other and just below the King"
The three of them frown as they realized the situation they're in.
Rex has a bounty above his head with a reward so great that it can tempt any Vampires, he also has to deal with Jarvald and also the Atkins that is still planning behind his back.
Aside from that, Rex also needs to convince the UWO to band with the SCO.
The Green Messenger was about to attack the Supernatural with an army of Black Hands, they were buying time to at least distract the attack on Eqosa City while they hold the reinforcements so Rex can have leverage to negotiate a temporary alliance with the UWO.
But the fact that the Vampires are aiming at him added another thing to his mind.
There's also Rosie that he needs to save, numerous problems just won't stop coming to him.
'So many things to think about', Rex thought with a sigh.
He then takes a vial and pours the substance in it into the Vampire's mouth.
The Vampire drinks the substance slowly as his eyes started to open, it was a healing elixir he bought from the shop since the Vampire will die if left like this.
He still has more questions, "Hey, Can you hear me?"
Hearing Rex's voice, the Vampire looks up before his eyes land on Rex.
Based on how he blinks slowly, Rex can see clearly that the Vampire is very weak with the Dark Linztine still coursing through his veins.
When the Vampire slowly gazes to the side, his eyes suddenly widen.
"HELP!! SOMEBODY HELP!!", the Vampire suddenly shouted hysterically after his eyes landed on Kyran.
The Vampire then added desperately, "GET THAT MONSTER AWAY FROM ME!!",
Rex frowns as he saw the Vampire's excessive reaction, the Vampire even called Kyran a monster which is rather impressive if he thinks about it.
Especially since the Vampire in front of him is a sixth rank Vampire.
Kyran's mouth quirk up into a terrifying smirk but when Rex glance at him, his expression turns back to normal as the terrifying smirk disappears from his face.
"Leave me alone", Rex said before Kyran and Edward nodded their heads and left the place.
After the two of them left the place, the heavy breathing of the Vampire quickly receded as he saw Kyran leave the place after giving the Vampire a last glance.
Rex then said, "Answer my question"
"Where is the Delarosa Family territory? Help me mark it on the map", Rex brought a map from the inventory as he shows it to the Vampire.
The map is the entire Map of Ratmawati City and also the Supernatural Territory bordering the city.
Hearing this, the Vampire's mouth suddenly closed shut not intending to answer Rex's question but his strong front is already broken unlike before.
"If you don't answer my question, I'll bring that monster back", Rex said threateningly.
Although he doesn't know exactly how Kyran is able to break the Vampire's spirit so easily, Rex knows that the Vampire is very scared of Kyran based on his reaction before.
So he can start to threaten the Vampire with this,
The Vampire's body jolted before he immediately said, "Please, I'll tell you anything! Just don't bring that monster back here, and just kill me swiftly after you're done asking questions"
Rex nodded his head seeing the humongous bleak aura coming out of the Vampire.
It's a more bleak aura than what he has ever seen before, it's almost unbelievable just how much fear the Vampire had from one exchange with Kyran.
After seeing Rex agree, the Vampire then points at the map with his eyes.
"This place?", Rex asks while pointing at a spot on the map with his fingers.
The Vampire nodded his head before he said weakly, "Delarosa's Family territory stretches from the Avonlet river until Sleatin City on the north"
Hearing this, Rex marked the places on the map with a marker before he nodded his head.
"Are they bordering with other Families Territory?", Rex asks.
Since the place is Vampire territory, then it's safe to say that the Delarosa territory is bordering with other family and Rex have to know this kind of thing if he were to destroy them.
The Vampire grit his teeth in pain before he forced out an answer, "Izora Family"
Rex looks at him intently waiting for an answer before the Vampire added, "Izora Family territory starts from the other side of Avonlet river, that's all"
After getting the answer, Rex mentally noted it before he stands up.
Just like the deal he made, Rex takes out his new Amuerus Katana and points it at the Vampire.
But before he was about to slash the Vampire's head, Rex then suddenly asks, "You do not happen to know the Delarosa and the Izora Families powers don't you?"
Hearing this, the Vampire was unwilling to answer Rex.
Seeing this, Rex lies the katana on his shoulder before he turns around intending to call Kyran.
The Vampire widen his eyes seeing this before he finally give in, "I know! I know!", he said stopping Rex from walking out of the place.
"Blood Locator and Blood Frenzy", the Vampire added.
Rex listen intently as the Vampire explains their power, and after the Vampire finished explaining their power,
SWOOSH!
He swings the katana and chops off the Vampire's head cleanly.

After killing the Vampire, Rex sigh as he looks at the place that is bloodied and gruesome.
'No wonder that woman in front is pale, I didn't blame her if she saw this kind of scene', Rex thought as his eyes landed on the limbs of the Vampire.
Rex walks closer to the limbs before he squats down and looks at them with reluctance.
'The corpse of a mid-sixth rank Awakened, I can become stronger if I embrace my Werewolf side', Rex thought as he hold a leg in his hand.
But after a moment, Rex shakes his head and puts the leg down.
His eyes then landed on the black water that he felt wrong to just toss it away, "Let's put it in the inventory", Rex mumbles as he walks closer to the basket of water.
When Rex touches the basket of water, "Hmm?", Rex frown he felt something is wrong.
Right when Rex looks at the surrounding, his eyes widen when he saw his surrounding turns reddish in color as a sweet laugh penetrate his ears.

Meanwhile, Faraday University.
Rex's room is emptier since Rex, Adhara, and Kyran are not there, only the maids and the butlers can be seen still cleaning the place and tending to Ryze who is left alone in the room.
Because of getting left by the other, Ryze is sitting alone in his bed with nothing to do.
The butlers and maids are treating him fairly well since the last incident, he's not as lonely as before with the butler sometimes talking with him.
But even as their bonds get better, the butler prohibits him from leaving the university ground.
Whenever Ryze was to leave the room, the butler also always accompany him no matter where he goes in fear that he might upset Rex again.
Since he can't freely go anywhere, Ryze is playing with his laptop that the butler gave.
The butler felt bad since Ryze doesn't have that many things to do, so he decided to get a laptop for Ryze to play with and since then Ryze has almost always browsed the internet.
But one night, while Ryze is playing with his laptop.

The window inside his room suddenly shatter suddenly,
Because of the sudden event, Ryze was surprised as he fall to the ground before he rubs his butt since he fall butt first.
But then, he suddenly saw a hole on the ground beside him.
Feeling curious about what shattered the window, Ryze puts his little fingers inside the hole and gropes around before he pulls out something from the hole.
Turns out it's a bullet that shatters his window.
Ryze looks at the window scarily before the pointy side of the bullet suddenly opened.
He then looks at a white rolled paper that comes out of the bullet with a frown, and when he unfold the paper there's something written on it.
'Wait for me, I'm going to rescue you'
That is what the white paper said, and there's a letter M on the right corner of the paper.
Not long after Ryze read the paper in confusion, the door into his room suddenly opened as the butler came inside worriedly.
The butler saw the shattered window as his eyes widen, "What happened?!"
"Someone threw a rock to the window", Ryze lied as he hides the bullet behind his back, and this makes the butler's face red in anger.
He then stormed out while saying, "Wait here, I'm going to find who's responsible"
After the butler left the room oblivious to the small hole on the ground, Ryze then looks at the white paper once more as he mumbles, "M-Micheline?
