"Greetings to the Prince", Jarvald said while bowing with a smirk on his face.
The appearance of the two Werewolves greatly shocked Rex since he didn't expect to meet trouble as soon as he finished the Carabidis Temple.
But now, bad luck makes two Werewolves bump into him.
'Is this what the spirit means by problem waiting for me?', Rex thought with a frown.
The spirit clearly stated that some problem is waiting for him above, it seems the spirit sensed these two Werewolves waiting for him here.
Rex already scans both of them and look at their stats,
Jarvald is a peak sixth rank that is way stronger than Rex, and the other Werewolf is an early sixth rank which puts the greatest threat to Jarvald. But Rex saw that Jarvald's left leg is wounded, he can tell from how Jarvald walks.
While Rex is thinking, the Werewolf beside Jarvald then smiles, "What do you know, the Prince turns out to be a familiar face"
"He even has his own pack", the Werewolf added.
She looks at Adhara and Kyran who are glaring at them from Rex's back, they can sense that the two Werewolves brings bad intention as they both bare their fangs with low growls.
Jarvald's eyes landed on Kyran, "Azure Bloodline, You have quite the Beta I might say"
Rex frowns as he looks at Jarvald, the bubbling anger is starting to rise inside him.
The mere presence of Werewolves brought back bad memories, and Rex is trying hard to control his anger since the situation is very tense.
Losing control against two Werewolves will end up badly, he can't afford to do that.
He then asks with a clenched jaw, "What do you want?"
"You see, I don't remember you or any of you being trapped with us a thousand years ago. You don't come from the Origin, you're an anomaly so I'm assuming that you're still nothing but a pup", Jarvald explains nonchalantly with his mocking expression.
He then studied Rex's expression with a smirk, "10 years?"
"5 years?"
Jarvald squints his eyes as he studies Rex's expression before his eyes slightly widen, "Not even 1 year huh, that's very surprising considering your strength", but then his glance turns fierce, "You have no idea the troubles if words about you come out"
Rex was stunned as Jarvald read him like an open book,
Aside from knowing himself as a Werewolf and other things that the system told him on how a Werewolf lives, he didn't know anything about the actual Werewolf.
What Jarvald said was true, he's completely in the dark about actual Werewolves.
"I have a Royal bloodline, Why are you doing this?", Rex said in confusion, he didn't understand any words that came from Jarvald's mouth.
Based on what the Spirit said before, the Werewolves should rejoice.
The spirit also called him Prince and it pretty much said that the so-called Prince is the rightful King of the Werewolves, so Rex didn't get why these two bore bad intent to him.
Hearing this, Jarvald chuckles as his eyes glisten.
In a blink of an eye, Rex summoned the Amuerus katana that he had just got from the Carabidis Exchequer after feeling that Jarvald was about to move.
"Don't move", Rex said slowly and threateningly.
He then continues, "Although you're stronger than me, I doubt you can match me with that wounded leg. Is that the leftover from getting beaten by the other Werewolf? Bertolf?"
Hearing this, Jarvald chuckles then that chuckles slowly turns into a laugh.
The laugh kept going as if Jarvald just heard the funniest joke in his life, a tear even came out of his eyes as Jarvald looks at Rex as if he was a joke.
"One thing you have to know about me", Jarvald said lightly.
He then glances at Rex as his breathing becomes heavy, his eyes turns dark red as his fangs grow longer making him look ferocious, "I don't like to be mocked"
SWOOSH!
STAB!
Completely a blur in Rex's eyes,
Jarvald suddenly went past Rex before Rex can even react properly, Rex looks back in surprise since he didn't expect Jarvald to still be this fast. His eyes widen in horror after seeing his back.
Both Kyran and Adhara's stomachs got stabbed by Jarvald's claws cleanly.
Growl!
Kyran and Adhara growls in pain as they got stabbed by Jarvald's claws.
His claws were decorated with blood as they penetrate through both of their stomachs, it was too fast for Rex to even react before this suddenly happened.
"NO!!", Rex shouted as his body exploded with energy.
The ground cracked as the red force exploded from his body, he then dash towards Jarvald with full power as his eyes turns red in anger.
BOOM!
Surprisingly, Jarvald manages to stop Rex on his track by grabbing him on his throat.
Kyran and Adhara falls to the ground as they create a pool of blood,
Jarvald looks at Rex that is looking at him murderously in amusement while trying to break free, Rex's muscle contracted as he tries to slash Jarvald with his katana,
CLANG!
"Whoa, the Prince aura is no joke", Jarvald said after parrying the katana.
The aura that came out of Rex makes even Jarvald tremble as it somehow manages to lower his strength, but even so, it's still not enough for Rex to overpower him in a fit of strength.
It's the aura of the Prince, it affects Jarvald and the other Werewolf.
Looking at Rex who is starting to get filled with anger, "Relax, they won't die from just that. You need to give more credits to your packs, they're stronger than you think", Jarvald said playfully, smirking at Rex.
While this is all happening, the other Werewolf then said, "Stop playing around Jarvald"
"What is his birth moon?", the Werewolf added.
Hearing this, Jarvald waves his other hand at the Werewolf before he gazes at Rex's eyes. Rex is still struggling to break free from Jarvald's claws, but he can't even with the addition of the red force, moonlight energy, and even black lightning.
"You really are an anomaly, you can even use elements", Jarvald mumbles in surprise.
There is no record of any types of Werewolves using nature's elements, and Rex being a Lightning Elementalist quite shocks Jarvald.
After gazing at Rex's eyes, Jarvald then said, "Blood Moon, just like I expected"
BURST!!
"HUAKHH!", Rex spat a mouthful of blood as he falls to the ground in pain, Jarvald stabbed his stomach just like he did to Kyran and Adhara.
But that's not just it,
STAB!
"RARRGH!", Rex shouted as Jarvald pierce him again right on his right chest.
The throbbing pain in his stomach and chest makes Rex wails on the ground in pain, it's starting to heal instantly but Jarvald kept stabbing Rex with his claws.
After a moment,
"That should do the trick, he will need time to heal all of that", Jarvald commented evilly.
Because of his brutal act, Rex has numerous holes around his body that are starting to heal but still, the pain makes Rex can only roll to the ground in pain.
It's a different pain than what Rex used to feel as something feels off.
"What did you do?", Rex said while groaning on the ground painfully.
Hearing this, Jarvald looks at his claws before he replied with a smile, "I don't know, maybe I coated my claws with poison that can cripple a Werewolf three times over?"
This explains why Rex felt the weird sensation, stabbing pain shouldn't be this painful.
After Jarvald said that, he then said as the other Werewolf approached Rex, "Vivian, take him. We can proceed with the plan since he's also birthed under the Blood Moon"
While he's saying that, Jarvald can be seen hopping on one leg.
Although he acts tough in front of Rex, the wound on his left leg seems to still hurt him.
Vivian squats on the ground to look at Rex who is wailing on the ground, but unknown to them there's a vial that Rex just drank that came out of nowhere.
Snif…
"Jarvald…", Vivian suddenly called while looking at Rex's pool of blood.
Jarvald looks at Vivian in confusion before she said with a troubled expression, "T-This… It can't be", Vivian sniffs Rex's blood on her claws.
Looking at this, Jarvald approaches her and sniffs the blood too.
Upon smelling the blood, Jarvald's face turns red in anger as he punches the ground angrily.
CRACK!
The ground cracked under Jarvald's punch as he stood up in thought, Vivian looks at Rex ghastly who is laying on his front, "He's been cursed, a nasty one at that"
"With the curse still on him, you can't devour him", she added.
ROAR!!
Jarvald roared angrily as he felt frustrated by the turns of events, he kicks Kyran and Adhara who are still on the ground angrily.
The red aura envelopes Jarvald's body as his anger raises by the second, the rune on his shoulder also glows red as the red aura intensify.
But then suddenly,
BAM!
"Huh?", Vivian grunted as she looks down slowly to her chest.
There is a silver bullet that penetrated her chest, it was so sudden that her body can't even process the pain until suddenly,
TSS!
"ARRGH!!", A steaming sound came from the wound as Vivian falls to the ground weakly.
Looking at this, Jarvald widen his eyes in shock as he wanted to pounce at Rex but Rex already pointed a black pistol at Jarvald.
BAM!
BAM!
Two bullets flew from the pistol's barrel before hitting Jarvald's chest and stomach.
"Rarggh!", Jarvald groans as he fell to one knee.
Rex stands up strugglingly before he takes the katana from the ground slowly while Vivian is trying to take out the silver bullet, she penetrates her claws into the wound trying to scrap the silver bullet out of her body and she looks to be in overwhelming pain.
Silver Bullet to a Werewolf, it's not a surprise to see Vivian hurting.
But before she can manage to take out the bullet,
STAB!
Rex already stands before her and stabs her right on her chest pinning her on the ground, "Rarghh!", Vivian growls as the runes on the katana glow red.

The effect from the katana plays an effect as it reduced Vivian's power.
After stabbing her, Rex looks to his front and saw Jarvald already standing up and he's glaring at Rex murderously as he saw Vivian getting stabbed.
Rex frowns when he saw Jarvald is okay even after getting shot by silver bullets.
"How did silver have no effect on you?", Rex asks while keeping eye contact with Jarvald, he's holding the katana that pin Vivian down in case Jarvald wanted to try something funny.
Hearing this, Jarvald replied angrily, "If you dare to do anything more to her-"
But before Jarvald can finish his sentence, Rex already pulls out the katana from Vivian's chest and stab her once more, "RAAARGHH!!"

"You're saying?", Rex asks while raising one of his eyebrows.
Jarvald's body froze on the spot as he looks at Vivian pinned on the ground.
His face is unwilling to admit defeat, he felt humiliated since Rex manage to catch them by surprise since the poison didn't work on him.
Little do they know, Rex has the system and the shop has everything. Including an antidote.
Jarvald's eyes are glancing repeatedly towards Kyran and Adhara who are slowly getting up, he's eyeing them planning on snatching them.
But Rex catches on to this, "You move from your spot, she dies", he said coldly.
"What do you want?", Jarvald asks unwillingly.
It is now Rex's turn to smirk as he supports his chin on the katana playfully.
He then signals to Adhara and Kyran to step towards him slowly before he said mockingly, "How the tables have turned. Now, I have some questions for you and you will need to answer all of them or your girlfriend here dies"
With Vivian under Rex's mercy, Jarvald has no choice except to oblige.
"What do you want from me?", Rex asks while squinting his eyes.
Hearing this, Jarvald was hesitant to answer, "Don't answer hi- AARGHH!", Vivian suddenly intervenes but Rex twist the katana making Vivian shout in pain.
Jarvald grit his teeth before he finally said, "Your bloodline, I want it"
"You want to be the King", Rex mumbles lightly.
He then asks again, "How do you know that I'm cursed? and why does it matter?"
"We can smell curses, and with the curse, your bloodline is contaminated and we can't devour you to gain your bloodline", Jarvald replied grudgingly.
"Explain to me all about the Prince of Werewolf, I want to know", Rex asks another question.
But this time, Vivian shakes her head signaling to not answer but Jarvald can't do that. Jarvald also hesitated but he's powerless with Vivian under Rex's mercy.
But when he was about to answer,
Rex suddenly sensed something attacking him from the side, he takes out the katana and blocks an attack before getting flung away.
Kyran already sensed it first since he had already pulled Adhara out of the way.
"What kind of party is this? Why am I not invited?", a voice seeped through Rex's ears as he looks up and saw a group of pale skin people.
