Defilers?
Alexander heard this word as the surrounding air became filled with a heavy sense of oppression and power!
He was born and raised in this world.
He was a native of Ephesus!
Yet he was actually referred to as a Defiler of Ephesus?
Was it because of his Minions and Summoned Undead, or was there something more here?
His eyes turned sharp as seeing the appearance of a terrifying Tier 9 Mutated Gem Chimera Emperor, he made a motion as Claire was also pulled into the Bone Dragon he was in.
His voice was resonant at this moment as he spoke from the protective embrace of a Tier 8 Bone Dragon while the Vigor Lich Flayer and other Minions protectively positioned themselves around him!
“We are not Defilers of Ephesus. I was born in the very lands this Sacred Mountain rose out of, and I have been fighting the invaders who came into Ephesus the moment I gained the power to do so…do I still earn the category of a Defiler?”

His voice was calm even while speaking to the massive wolf-like Beast floating ahead.
Its multicolored fur radiated a magisterial glory as its nine tails waved in the wind- seeming capable of smashing entire mountains!
Its eyes, brimming with callous intelligence, seemed to sneer with regality as they looked past the gaps of the dragon bones to look at him in reply.
“You think the Invaders of this world are the only Defilers? You Children of Ephesus who were born from its embrace have only taken and taken, draining the very life from Ephesus itself as you are the worst Defilers. Which children only take and do not give back? Which children repay favor with death and destruction? Which Children drain the very life of the Great Mother knowing exactly what they’re doing? You have lost your standing as its Children…and must now return to its bountiful earth to repay what you were given!”

As he thought about all the things he saw so far and the conclusion he was coming across, even with his mental state, he still felt a tremendous sense of loss.

Alexander found such a thing hard to accept as this was the world he was born into!

If it was trying to kill him and all other Humans on it…what even could they do? Where could they go?
In these constant below freezing temperatures, how many humans would survive? How many hundreds of millions were already dead?!
The sense of loss slowly turned into anger and defiance as Alexander shook his head within the Bone Dragon and glared coldly at the Tier 9 Mutated Gem Chimera Emperor.
“I do not accept such a distinction.”
He spoke out in defiance.
And yet the multicolored wolf only sneered with majesty as its eyes shone brightly, other Mutated Gem Chimeras that had encircled them slowly showing themselves!
“Do I look like a give a damn whether you accept this distinction, Defiler? My task is to only eradicate. Ever since I was taken from the Embrace of the Great Mother and returned here, my purpose is to erase all defilers even daring to step foot on the Sacred Mountains of Ephesus. I shall simply start with you.”

Even more waves of information came as the Chimeras were about to strike!

Alexander took these words and many more as his Enneagram helped him come to a few conclusions.
The Chimeras defended this Sacred Mountain.
It meant there was something on it they didn’t want others to have.
And this…made Alexander want it greatly as he felt that on this mountain, there would be answers.
So…
“I have yet to kill a Tier 9 Emperor.”
He spoke with a deadly light of coldness as his chest shone once more.
Silver brilliance unfurled like a rising sun behind him as another terrifying aura bloomed behind the bone dragon!
Even this only earned the harrumph of the Tier 9 Mutated Gem Chimera Emperor as its eyes flashed brilliantly.
“You won’t be killing any Tier 9 Emperors, Defiler, I’ll make sure of that.”
BOOM!
From this terrifying creature.
The tips of its nine tails radiated terrifying heat as beams gathered on it…before they struck forth heavily as they scorched everything on their path!
OOOH!
As such a battle bloomed, the Vigor Flayer Lich howled with mad fervor for death as a protective bony prison surrounded them, while the chest of the newly risen Tier 8 Bone Dragon swelled and burned with radiance.
Its draconic jaws then opened wide as it released a terrifying Breath of crimson and silver deathly lightning towards the scorching beams ahead!
Vishpala, Anastasia, and the other Minions also made their moves as at the same time, but their eyes couldn’t help but pulse with trepidation as they looked behind them.
Behind the Bone Dragon.
As deathly silver energies that seemed like a portal leading to hellish lands disappeared, a titanic humanoid creature adorned in fur clothes stood.
Twice as big as even the Bone Dragon before it, and a head taller than the Tier 9 Mutated Gem Chimera in the distance!
