Within a small corner of the World of Ephesus, a Beast Lord was being pounded by relentless obsidian fists mercilessly.
In another corner of this world, there was the Skypeak Ascendant Stronghold of the Galanis Bloodline.
A Stronghold was far bigger than mere City Fortresses stretched out to protect against low-tier Breaches, with it looking like a massive metropolis stretching out for over 200 miles.
Tens of millions of Humans lived within such a stronghold as it was a bastion of humanity.
Or…it used to be.
Currently, massive obsidian skyscrapers built from crystals and materials excavated from Breaches could be seen, with Corrupted Airships floating across the skies serenely…but they weren’t the only ones.
There were also Beasts patrolling the skies as if it were the norm, ranging from Peacocks to ferocious-looking Eagles, among others!
Outside the massive walls of the Stronghold, swathes of Beasts numbering in the millions were camped out calmly in a shocking show of horror and power.
Within the Stronghold itself, towards its very center.
Inside a skyscraper fifty stories tall, the door was splintered open as it led into a wide black hall lined up with golden banners.
The one who had broken the door to enter was an Elven Beast who had five horns growing from his head and Seven Gem Sockets burning brilliantly on his chest.
A Beast Lord!
And the hall he barged into…has the eyes of multiple terrifying beings turn towards his direction.
Tier 6 and Tier 7 golden-haired Human Gem Masters.
Tier 6 and Tier 7 Beast Gem Masters!
And one entity at the very center who could leave one breathless.
An entity so beautiful that it was unfair, with his chest showing…Gem Sockets that were shaped like triangles.
Triangle-shaped Gem Sockets.
Not the circular-shaped gem sockets like all others.
There were also just seven of them…but they were Variant Gem Sockets!
Vibrant Gem Sockets, but uniquely, one could still see triangular-shaped Gems socketed within them.
This being had vibrant green hair shimmering with tendrils of gold light as he gazed coldly at the one who had kicked the door down.
“Must you do something so boorish, Beast Lord Celefindel?”
…!
“Boorish? BOORISH? Look at this!” The Elven Beast Lord exploded with rage as he raised his hands to show multiple shattered gem crystals.
“Lidar! Faenwe! They and all of my Elven Commanders traveling with your forces are dead. Dead! You put your fucking sister in Command of an army to prove herself, and now my brethren are dead!”

The Esteemed Beast Lord Vishpala!
The moment her name was mentioned alongside dead Elven Commanders, the Peacock Gem Master with the Variant Gem Sockets had his eyes flash with a sharp light as he waved his hands and caused a small verdant gold chest to appear.
This golden chest opened to unleash colorful waves of light as within, nine green Gems radiantly glowed with life!
The sharp gaze within this entity eased at this scene as he spoke out calmly.
“Vishpala is fine. As for why your Elven Beast Commanders may have died…”
The Variant Beast Lord turned to the Human Beast Masters in this hall.
“We moved our forces based on your information regarding the Human Gem Masters of that Stronghold. Did we receive…faulty information?”
…!
The surroundings turned immeasurably cold as the Human Gem Masters became stern.
Facing this being, even though a few middle aged men- Tier 6 and even a Tier 7 Ascendant Gem Master, faced his gaze alone…they found their bodies pressured greatly!
The Tier 7 Ascendant Gem Master was adorned in golden robes, a crown on his head as he was the Lord of the Skypeak Ascendant Stronghold of Galanis.
He ruled over this great Stronghold before he joined hands with the Lineages of Beasts, and he now had to delicately walk around them as he replied while shaking his head.
“My people just recently came back from that Ascendant Stronghold of the Asmodeus Bloodline as we confirmed all Ascendant Gem Masters there. The details we gave you are 100% accurate…any possible failures are not due to us, Beast Lord Commander.”
As he spoke, his gaze coldly went towards the Elven Beast Lord as if he was stating that his Beasts dying had nothing to do with them!
The Elven Beast Lord saw this clearly as his face became livid.
“You worthless human scu-”
“Mayfaire!”
BOOM!
The booming voice of the Variant Gem Master, the Beast Lord Commander, echoed out.
He sat at the center of this hall of a golden throne, all others standing up left and right- humans and Beasts alike!
He looked between the Ascendant Human Lord of the Galanis Stronghold here and the Elven Beast Lord who seemed to be at great odds as he spoke out coldly.
“Our people have become united in an inseparable manner. Your Ascendant Galanis King…”
He turned his head towards the Tier 7 Lord of the Skypeak Ascendant Stronghold of Galanis as he continued.
“Your Ascendant Galanis King is at this moment working with our forces to welcome the Delegation of the Royal Dragon Lineage and the Mythical Phoenix Lineage into this World. This is of paramount importance as it means more King Ranked Gem Masters and even Emperor Ranked Gem Masters may start their entry into this world.
We do not bicker amongst each other as for us…there is a glorious future waiting.”

A blast of colorful golden-green waves erupted from the Variant Beast Lord Commander as he stated such words!
“This world is special. Far more than any of us realize as we keep discovering more and more of its wonders. Humans and Beasts can only join hands to embrace the change and wonders to come as we have to be united! In the matter of the death of Eleven Beast Commanders…we will get an answer for you, O Beast Lord Mayfaire. Anastasia…”
The Variant Beast Lord Commander turned towards a graceful and utterly gorgeous woman to his left.
The feathers of a Peacock covered her back gorgeously as she batted her eyes.
“You are the fastest among many here. Track down the path of the army that Little Vishpala led and find out what happened. If there are any surprises, reinforce her. Send a message as soon as you know anything.”
His words were the law.
Beast Lord Anastasia nodded as her figure turned into a flash of green light that disappeared right away!
