Was it really him?
It was a question that Branch Leader Julius felt like he had to ask as too many unbelievable things had occurred.
Logic and every other sense he had stated that this young man before him was his son!
And yet until he saw it for himself…
Alexander turned towards his father as the green garbs covering his head unfurled, his gaze tinged with many emotions as he called out in a low tone.
“Father.”
He called out to father just like he always did.
Their distant relationship. The same pain they shared but didn’t talk about.
The father looked at the son with a heavy heart and a mixture of emotions as he went forward and grabbed his shoulders, looking at him up and down as he spoke out earnestly.
“Your Mother…she would have been very proud. Prouder than you can even imagine.”
He said these words while looking deeply at Alexander, the latter trembling slightly as he nodded!
Beside them, Branch Leader Axel looked at Alexander up and down as he held the worried Claire, his voice echoing out what everyone wanted to ask.
“How is this possible? It should have been a Variant Life Socket that you Awakened. Is it something we’ve never come across before? Are you a…Six-Link Gem Master? Or…even higher?”
His questions were rapid.
But before they could be registered fully, Branch Leader Julius waved his hands dismissively as he looked around them.
“That can come later whenever he chooses to talk about it. For now…just what is the status of things?” As he spoke, he turned the spotlight to his son as he asked directly.
“What is the status of the Den of Corruption? The Galanis Bloodline? The Beasts of Corruption that besieged us…can we expect anything deadlier than what just came?”
The questions were many, but they were important ones.
Alexander looked towards the miniaturized Caladrius Aerial Beast and spoke lightly.
“Speak. The most important details.”
His words were like an inviolable law to his Minions as the beak of this green white bird flapped open right away!
“For the safety of Ascendant Master and his home, I will say that within the Den of Corruption, a Low Tier Spatial Gem Relic of the Royal Albatross Beast Clan was utilized to connect this Tier 3 Breach to a Tier 4 Breach hundreds of miles away from here near the Mortal Branch of the Galanis Bloodline.”

Her words caused the gazes of many nearby to change, Branch Leader Julius looking around and waving his hands to clear the Hangar as Gem Master Azazel and other Three-Link Gem Masters quickly moved to make space.
And the Caladrius continued.
“Most of the Tier 4 Beasts stemmed from there…as we had been placed under the command of aiding the two Branch Leaders of that Mortal Branch of the Galanis Bloodline. We only followed their commands for everything that has happened so far.”
The information only became more terrifying.
Branch Leader Julius raised his hand for the Caladrius to stop as he asked the most critical question.
“What is the relationship between Beasts of Corruption and the Galanis Bloodline?”
“…”
A critical question!
After a brief silence, the Caladrius gazed at Alexander and continued.
“Many months ago, A few Royal Beast Clans came to an agreement with the Human Lineage of Galanis. For access into more lands of Ephesus, we would share our knowledge and power. No humans within their Lineage would be hurt. Since then…there have been many changes occurring silently. Freely opened Breaches inside City Fortress and Strongholds.
Communication between Human Lineage and the Royal Beast Clans-”
“Why?”
Alexander stopped the words of the Caladrius that dropped a shocking bombshell as he asked.
“Why do all this? Why do these Royal Beast Clans want the lands of Ephesus? Where do you all even come from?”
Questions that made many Gem Masters lose sleep over the years.
On this day, a Tier 4 Beast blinked as she spoke about it all simply.
“Oh, I come from the World of Ornis- a world where 5 Royal Beast Clans ruled. A World drained of its resources and on the brink of collapse as for survival, we formed gateways into the largest, most stable, and bountiful World that could ensure the survival of our many species.”

“The Breaches act as an intermediary between worlds, and they allowed us to reach these lands that we now seek to claim for ourselves before the process of Energeia Star Ascension starts.”
Their World of Ephesus.
It was actually deemed as the largest, most stable, and bountiful world.
Ephesus? Truly?
Alexander looked at his father and Claire with eyes of disbelief as he spoke to his Minion right after.
“Energeia Star Ascension? What is this?”
The eyes of the white green bird were bright as she replied.
“It is the reason why we have begun to be more active recently as we believe it is fast approaching. When a world sheds its former shell and attains its true state as an Ascended Star. Whoever controls the most land before and after this process…will be able to accumulate tremendous power and resources.”

The words caused Branch Leader Julius to stumble backwards with an ashen expression, while Branch Leader Axel was frozen in place!
Inside his chest, Alexander felt his Enneagram spinning rapidly as he absorbed all of this information.
Their barren World of Ephesus was actually some kind of treasure trove.
Akin to a caterpillar that had yet to become a butterfly.
And the transformation to do so was called the Energeia Star Ascension as it would be happening in the near future, and the reason for the Breaches across the World was different monstrosities seeking the lands of this world for themselves!
It was shocking to hear as Alexander had a heavy expression while probing even more.
“In your…World of Ornis, who is considered the most powerful? How high does their power reach?”
A question that he knew may fill them with dread, but he had to ask regardless just to understand.
And the Caladrius blinked as it replied.
“There are powerful Tier 7 Beast Lords and even Tier 8 Beast Kings. Since the Breaches cannot handle the transfer of their power yet, they haven’t begun to cross over until just recently…with the cooperation of the Galanis Bloodline, they had some success.”

Words that caused a sense of defeat in the hearts of any humans echoed out.
And yet the Caladrius wasn’t done.
“The most dreadful of all for Ascendant Master to be careful of are the leaders of the Royal Beast Clans over multiple nearby Worlds. The Dragon Lords and the Dragon Kings. They are the ones seen as leaders of Gem Masters with their naturally high life force that far exceeds any others. As far as I know, they have yet to begin crossing over…”
