Meanwhile, any surviving golden haired Galanis Bloodline Gem Master who followed their Branch Leaders here had bent their knees in surrender, with Gem Masters from Carthage descending from the Walls.
The two Branch Leaders- his own father and Branch Leader Axel, were both gazing towards his direction as he and Claire stood above the feathers of the Caladrius Aerial Beast.
He knew he had to face them soon as they had to plan how to move from here, but he sought to entirely grasp his own level of power so far as he looked at the levels of his Vigor and Energeia.

His power steadily and rapidly jumped after he absorbed an Ascendant Life Gem, and he even had two more in his isolated storage space to use later.

Alexander nodded as he looked at white green feathered beast he stood on first, a row of words being materialized above them from his own mind.

Their values ranged between higher Vigor or Energeia or a mixture of both, but Alexander looked at it all while once more affirming the utility and wonder of his Enneagram.
He gained a sense of where his power could be at as he let out a sigh while sending his thoughts to the Beast below him, its massive body turning back and heading towards Carthage!
Its sheer size and power frightened the Gem Masters below as the storm of lightning around it was nullified by tendrils of lightning closely surrounding its feathers- harmless to Alexander and Claire above it.
Sensing the atmosphere in the surroundings, Branch Leader Julius radiated ancient command while he and Axel went back over the wall as well.
“Secure the perimeter and remain on high alert!”
There were too many things that raised questions.
But they couldn’t answer any at this moment. They had a great deal of questions themselves as they went past the Walls of Carthage, bringing along the enslaved Enaman as they followed the trail of the Caladrius Aerial Beast.
The scene behind the wall should have been a calm one, but near the Hangar, burning flames slowly dimmed as one could see an enraged Azazel standing outside a burnt Airship, Charlie and Rachel behind him alongside a few other Gem Masters as they were looking at scorched bodies before them.

But whatever anyone was doing inside the walls of Carthage had to come to a stop as they shivered in fear at the sign of the massive beast floating above them.
To their eyes, it was the appearance of a terrible tragedy.
Alexander saw this scene below him as he voiced out towards the Caladrius below him.
“Can you reduce your size?”
The reply from the beast below was a quick one.
“Others may not be able to, but it is simplicity for me, Ascendant Master.”
Its body flashed with a green light.
And a moment later, its massive stature began to reduce as it looked like waves of vines wrapped around it, where from towering over 100 meters, it went to become just over 3 meters in size- and yet from it, two massive vines that wrapped around two Tier 4 Beasts of Corruption remained tout and strong.
In the skies, it was like a blinking green white light that came down under the control of Alexander towards the Hangar where Gem Master Azazel could be seen with others.
The turbidity gaze of Azazel cleared when he clearly saw the figure of Claire in addition to the shrouded figure of Alexander, the flames around him simmering down even further when he saw the Branch Leaders that were flying over from the distance.
The miniaturized Caladrius landed silently, the bound Beasts behind placed near the similarly sized Airships as it retained silence while looking around for now.
This was the new camp it had chosen, it had to understand the man who had overpowered her and what she could do to survive in the trials to come.
This new Ascendant Master of hers who walked towards the bloodied visage of a Three-Link Gem Master who stood before charred bodies as he asked with a chilling light.
“Traitors?”

His voice was akin to a signal that lifted the spirits of Azazel as he recognized it was the Young Master.
“Yes…they came in seeking Lady Claire inside the Airship. Of course…”
Behind him, Rachel, who played the part of Claire, had a gash on her left hand, while Charlie seemed to be drained of all Energeia as he looked blankly towards the powerful aura of the Caladrius and two bound Beasts behind Alexander.
Before any headway could be made…
“Is it really you?”
The voice of Branch Leader Julius echoed out from behind as he looked tenderly towards his son, while Branch Leader Axel appeared like a flash of lightning in front of his daughter, his gaze stern as he gazed at her up and down!
