As the boss’s damage over time and silence skills were pretty much useless against Jiang Fei, he only needed to be careful of the boss’s Sword of Retribution. However, he could easily escape danger by activating Armored Bulwark or Claret Aegis in time.
After he leveled up, Jiang Fei’s Attack Power had increased quite a bit. Moreover, Jiang Fei was getting better at using the Nephilim King’s Eyes’s Weakness Exploit. He could land a critical hit once in almost every two attacks, so Jiang Fei’s current damage output was a lot higher than before. In about twenty seconds or so, the boss’s Health Points hit 50%.
“Damned adventurer, you actually dare to destroy our plans! I want you to die!” Following a roar from the boss, the originally dignified and elegant Goddess of the Blue Dawn transformed. A demon with horns appeared before Jiang Fei.

Shadowbolt Rain: Launches a Shadowbolt at all targets within fifty meters, dealing 4,000 damage.
Gate of Sin: Summons a portal with 500,000 Health Points. While open, the portal will summon thirty Advanced Elite Fallens every ten seconds to help in the battle.
Fire Bloom: Randomly marks five non-current targets, dealing 2,000 damage per second and inflicting 5,000 Fire Damage per second to all players within five meters.
Chain Lightning: Shoots a chain of lightning on a random target, causing a total of 40,000 damage. The chain of lightning can arc around up to six times and the damage will spread evenly. The maximum arc distance is five meters. (It will not be cast on players who have been hit by Fire Bloom.)
Jiang Fei quickly skimmed through the boss’s skills. In its current form, this first boss was now a whole lot stronger than its previous Goddess of the Blue Dawn form.
“This boss requires extremely lot of teamwork. Players have to change positions during the battle, it’s impossible for players to stand at one spot and attack!” Jiang Fei nodded to himself.
After the boss transformed, it stood still for two seconds. However, right after two seconds, the boss immediately slashed Jiang Fei with the giant axe in its hand.

“Bella, stop playing around. Hurry up and attack!” Jiang Fei assessed the boss’s strength. Then, he began to attack with all his might. After all, his Lifesteal Demon form only lasted for more than twenty seconds. If he did not hurry up and attack, he would be in trouble when his Lifesteal Demon form was over.
“Okay!” Isabella nodded, then immediately summoned her Demon Flame and started to attack the boss like crazy from behind.
After Isabella summoned her Demon Flame, her damage output skyrocketed and even surpassed that of Jiang Fei’s. When combined, their damage totaled up to more than 50,000 per second.
“Sh*t! This is not going to work. My Lifesteal Demon form will be over even before the boss’s Health Points reach 50%!” Jiang Fei’s brows furrowed. His Attack Power was already really high, but the boss had too much Health Points. With just one minute of his Lifesteal Demon form, it was impossible to kill the boss.
Originally, this Dungeon boss was made for a party of a hundred people. The fact that Jiang Fei could attempt this boss solo was already quite incredible. If he could kill this boss in tens of seconds like the other bosses in lower difficulty modes, it would make no sense.
“The enemies are right beside you!” While Jiang Fei was busy being worried, the boss suddenly roared. Then, a purple portal appeared behind Jiang Fei.
Swoosh! The first batch of thirty small monsters appeared. All of them were Advanced Elite Fallens.
“Roar…” These Fallens roared, then immediately rushed toward Jiang Fei.
Only Jiang Fei and Isabella were involved in the battle. Since Jiang Fei’s Lifesteal had an Area of Effect healing, he immediately generated the aggro of these monsters.
If an average party came here, the first target of these monsters would definitely be the Clerics. So, they had to make sure their sub-Tank was ready to generate aggro. Of course, first-timers would definitely not be prepared for this. Sacrificing some lives was the only way to test all the boss’s skills.
“Don’t worry about the small monsters! Kill the boss!” Jiang Fei shouted. He was just going to wait for these monsters to surround him, then use God’s Wrath. It would be great if the Splash effect of his normal attacks could hit these small monsters. As for those that were behind Jiang Fei, he would not bother.
The attacks of these small monsters could not break through Jiang Fei’s Defense at all. So, he could ignore them and focus on attacking the boss. If it was an average party, they not only had to deal with the small monsters, but the attackers in their party also had to switch targets. They had to destroy the portal first or else there would be more and more monsters and all of them would end up dying!
However, Jiang Fei did not have to worry about this. It would not be a problem even if there were a thousand of these small monsters around him. They dealt no damage to him anyway.
In addition to opening the portal, the boss would also launch a wave of Shadowbolt Rain almost every five seconds. 4,000 damage was nothing to Jiang Fei and Isabella. However, for an average party, an Area of Effect damage of 4,000 would place a lot of pressure on the Clerics.
When its Health Points fell to 70%, the boss activated its two other skills.
“Haha! You should stay a little further away from each other!” Following the boss’s laughter, a flaming flower appeared above Isabella’s head and Isabella started receiving 2,000 damage per second.
“Crackle… crackle…” Isabella was not taking a lot of damage. However, as she was standing quite close to Jiang Fei, he was receiving 5,000 Fire Damage per second.
“Ignore it, continue to attack!” As Jiang Fei’s Lifesteal ability was strong enough, he did not make Isabella change positions. Instead, he continued to attack the boss while he received 5,000 damage per second.
Jiang Fei and Isabella could only do this because they were too overpowered. This boss skill was actually an Area of Effect skill and the boss could mark five people. However, the five people had to be non-current targets. Hence, only Isabella was hit.
If it was an average party, two or three melee attackers would be marked. Then, they would burn each other and all of them would receive 10,000 to 20,000 damage per second. They might even die before the Clerics could heal them.
Therefore, under normal circumstances, players had to be fully focused on the battle when fighting this boss. Once they get marked, they have to move away from the other party members immediately.
As soon as the five-second Fire Bloom was over, the boss skill used another skill.
“Have you been isolated? Then go to hell!” With a roar, a bolt of lightning shot out from the boss’s hands and hit Isabella squarely. Then, the lightning continued to be passed onto Jiang Fei.
Only two of them were part of the battle, so the chain of lightning could not continue to be passed around.
“Buzz! Buzz!”
Following two crisp sounds, a 20,000 damage figure appeared above Jiang Fei and Isabella’s heads!
This Chain Lightning could spread to up to six people. So, the damage of the skill was naturally very high. Fortunately, however, Jiang Fei and Isabella were both extremely tanky. Hence, although this attack reduced a lot of their Health Points, it was not enough to kill them.
After they survived these two skills, the boss’s Health Points hit 55%. However, Jiang Fei’s Lifesteal Demon form only had five seconds left.
