Currently, Jiang Fei had thirty-seven Epic Rainbow Blades in his personal inventory. He also had one Legendary Rainbow Blade, but he did was not planning to sell the “Magician killer.”
In the first batch, Jiang Fei listed only three Epic Rainbow Blades in the Auction House. The reserve price was fixed at 1,000 gold coins. The auction would take two hours. If any tycoons were not willing to bid, again and again, they could just buy all three Blades for a package deal of 3,000 gold coins!
1,000 gold coins was most definitely an astronomical sum to ordinary players. This was most evident with how most of the players ran around in town used average Mounts instead of expensive ones. While tycoons could feel the pinch of 1,000 coins, it was well within their budget.

When he had set a reserve price of 1,000 gold coins, he was already feeling a little guilty. Yet again, Jiang Fei had underestimated the purchasing power of the tycoons in Dawnlight City!
In actuality, Jiang Fei had underestimated the impact of Han Tianyu’s advertising. One had to know that Han Tianyu was now the role model of all the tycoons in Dawnlight City. All the tycoons in Dawnlight City regarded Han Tianyu as their idol. So, Han Tianyu was now the one who set the fashion trend in Dawnlight City. He could easily set a fashion trend by walking around with a shovel on his back, let alone carry an Epic flashy sword!
Moreover, previously, as Han Tianyu had led a big group of people and rallied around the territory of the three major guilds, this immediately garnered the Rainbow Blade citywide fame. If there was just one Rainbow Blade in the entire game, then nobody would even attempt to imitate Han Tianyu. However, as soon as Jiang Fei announced that he would be selling Rainbow Blades, all hell broke loose.
There were tens of millions of players in Dawnlight City. Out of that population, thousands of them had to be tycoons, if not ten thousand. Everyone had their eyes on the Rainbow Blades. Since everyone in the tycoon community was so familiar with each other, they still had to have it, even if they did not have the right Class to equip it. Otherwise, if they met the other tycoons, how else would they have the courage to say hello?
It was precisely because of this, regardless of whether they could equip the Rainbow Blade, that many tycoons have been refreshing the Auction House page ever since Jiang Fei’s advertisement. As for the auction? Don’t be stupid, is your reputation or 2,000 gold coins more important? If they dared to call themselves tycoons, none of them would care about the money!
“Interesting!” Jiang Fei smiled and put up another three Rainbow Blades, but they were instantly sold once again!
“Should we increase the price?” Isabella, next to Jiang Fei asked.
“No!” Jiang Fei shook his head. He had known Han Tianyu for a while now, so he somewhat understood how the minds of tycoons worked. If Jiang Fei had set the price at 10,000 gold coins at the start, these tycoons would most certainly buy it without hesitation if they found it worthwhile!
However, if Jiang Fei raised the price halfway through, these tycoons would definitely give up on buying the Rainbow Blades immediately. Even if Jiang Fei reduced the price later, no one would want the Blades anymore!

Jiang Fei listed the Rainbow Blades in the Auction House in batches of three again and again. These Rainbow Blades were all purchased at the buyout price, almost instantly. When Jiang Fei sold off the last Epic Rainbow Blade in his inventory, many more tycoons were left waiting expectantly.
“Who still has a Rainbow Blade for sale? I’ll buy it for 4,000 gold coins!” After confirming that Jiang Fei was no longer selling anymore Rainbow Blades, some tycoons began to buy at a higher price!
Although this would cost them more money, the tycoons could accept paying more to “snatch” an item from others, but it was unacceptable if the seller increased the price to “trick” them!
