Basically, it was the boundary of this world. Something that protects it from external threats. And also the main source of power of the Taming System.
“Wait, so the Taming System is a part of this World Barrier?”
“Close, but no. It’s the World Barrier that is part of the Taming System.”

So, the Taming System is the one managing the World Barrier? Then how the f*ck are we going to fix that?
“Right. To fix it probably means to regain its lost functions. You know how the system got locked out after everyone with administrator rights died, right?”
I nodded my head.
When I gave Zeshion his administrator rights, I do recall him telling me the story behind it.
“Actually, even after you brought back administration rights for the system, there are still a few functions that remained locked. They were the last five functions of the system.”
Hegemony, Harmony, Ruler’s Crown, God’s Master, and Sanctuary. Excluding the Life and Death Simulation, which was reserved for only the System’s Crowned Successor, they were the last five functions of the system… or so Zeshion explained.
So the rest of the functions have such powerful-sounding names. I wonder what their effect is. Before I could begin to guess, Zeshion continued talking, even while he was still chewing the new morsel of grapes fed to him by Goddess Zeta.

A mysterious hand appeared and slapped the back of my head. Without even much thought, I realized who the owner was. Yep, I better not diss her in my internal monologue.
While soothing the small bump behind my head, I began to ponder my next step.
