[… Lie… It’s a lie…! You humans… Lied to me again!]
In a shocked and angry tone, the Succubus Lord shrieked in anger. As she did, despite having a build that was two sizes smaller than before, a powerful blast of aura swept all over the place.
The newly built Debauchery Hall trembled before her strength; window hinges and walls released loud creaking sounds.
“Lie?”
I raised my eyebrows upon hearing the word come from her mouth.
“We didn’t lie to you, didn’t we?” ｎ𝚘𝚟ｌ.ｃｏ𝚖
[Lies! All lies! I will never fall for your tricks again!]
However, despite how I denied the accusation, she was hell-bent on saying that we lied to her.
I mean, to her senses, all humans must be the same. Just like how tamers can’t differentiate similar demons from each other. This implies that someone did lie to her and intentionally lead her here.
That person was probably the reason why the Succubus Lord, previously endearing and seductive, was reduced to the cute but pitiful appearance of a child. However, even if I told her that, she’d probably not listen to it.
As her anger boiled, the aura she released became more powerful. Now, it was already reaching the same level as, but not exceeding, a God-tamer.
“Ember!”
Immediately, I sent commands to all the girls simultaneously and called for Ember to start the fight. She opened two portals right above the little Succubus Lord’s shoulders, letting two clone slimes fall over her.
The two slimes quickly morphed into large braces and chains, attempting to catch her neck. However, the little girl noticed it in an instant and sent a bloody claw strike to counter it.
The two clones quickly dissipated after receiving a solid hit. Despite getting weaker, her power was still off the charts. Unfortunately, for her, Ember was simply a distraction.
From both sides, two attacks came.
One was from Igni, covered in blazing hellfire as she rushed with a sword made of fire itself. She was going full-power as soon as she attacked, not daring to hold back even a little.
On the right side, Fang appeared out of the shadows. She was covered in a black aura as she neared her claw on the Succubus Lord’s neck. She had full intention of taking the little disaster’s life at any given chance.
Two attacks, two opposite directions, and both powerful enough to be fatal. The Succubus Lord didn’t waste a moment and raised her palms, catching the two attacks effortlessly.
Igni’s flame sword only singed a small part of her skin, not even enough to be called a first-degree burn. Fang’s claws, covered in pitch-black darkness, were only able to cause a small tear—a scratch to be exact.
The two were surprised by the extreme toughness of the enemy; however, they didn’t miss the chance when the enemy was temporarily still. The two sent a powerful kick at the same time, causing the wind to whistle as their legs raced forward.
The Succubus Lord was unable to dodge it, as it was literally instantaneous. The two shins landed on her chest, now as flat as a plain, and sent her flying back a good few meters.
After she regained her stance, she glared at Will and scanned the faces of all the others around her. Her voice, filled with pain and unhinged anger, echoed clearly within our heads.
[You humans and your petty tricks! And you! Monsters who lost their ferociousness, wagging their tails at humans like little b*tches! I’ll definitely kill you all!]
At that moment, her entire body was covered in a bloody red aura. Not only the pressure around her, but each of her gestures felt powerful enough to break a limb or two if they grazed.
Before she could move, however, a blue pattern appeared below her feet, pulling her down to the ground with unstoppable force.
“Just in time. Perfect.”
I muttered as I glanced at the succubus tamers that were looking over from the windows. They were the ones who cast the Six-Point Paralyzing Array, a special array made by Tamers to safely capture a monster and attempt to tame it.
When made by a single tamer, it should be powerful enough to completely seal the movements of monsters up to the 5th stage. With thousands of tamers using it simultaneously, not even a god-tamer can resist the strength of the seal.
I looked at the Succubus Lord, still covered in a bloody fog, as she struggled violently against the array’s restraints. I looked at her black hair, red eyes, and slightly pinkish skin. Then to her curved horns, the small black wings, and the long arrow-tipped tail.
Compared to before, when she looked like a monster that came straight out of hell, her current appearance was no different than that of the other succubus tamers, who had a mix of human and monster features.
I crouched before her, right outside the effective range of the array, and stared straight at her, asking.
“Who told you that I could fix your appearance?”
The question, however, was just for confirmation. I more or less already guessed the culprit behind it, as there was only a limited number who could visit the previous Succubus Lord and come out of it alive.
The Succubus Lord didn’t answer; she only glared at my face. Her expression tells me that if she could move, then she’d be plucking my head out of my body right about now.
I pulled out the pistol-shaped gun from the [Spatial Storage] and quickly aimed it at her forehead. As soon as I did, her expression changed from anger to fear. She must’ve recognized the gun, despite its changed form, as the weapon that was able to injure her even with her full powers.
“Still not talking?”
I gently squeezed the trigger and tensed the muscles of my arm. At that moment, in panic, the Succubus Lord finally opened her mouth.
“Two women, both clad in black robes! That’s all I know!”
“You can speak?!”
I was surprised by this fact more than how my prediction was off the mark. And here I was, starting to think that she could only communicate telepathically!
“Wait, stop. Let’s continue.”
I shook my head lightly, trying to remove the surprise from my system.
“So, it wasn’t a man with black hair you met, but two girls?”
To that, the Succubus Lord nodded her head with difficulty. I squinted my eyes, trying to figure out who they were, and quickly linked the two robed girls to the Demon Tamers.
If I recall correctly, there should be three females and five males left in their group, so it wasn’t that hard to guess.
Right then, a moment of carelessness.
The Succubus Lord knocked her toes to the ground powerfully, causing the surface to shatter and letting her regain freedom. I staggered as I was nearby and quickly dodged the flying debris heading toward me.
As I was preoccupied with dodging, the Succubus Lord managed to land a clean hit on my left chest. I looked down, my face as pale as a sheet of paper, as I watched her claws dig deep into my heart.
She then twisted her wrist and pulled hard, taking out a beating organ from my body.
“W…h…at…?”
I staggered forward and landed face down on the ground, completely unable to move. I just received fatal damage where my heart was literally pulled out, but I could still turn my mind as fast as normally. Is this what they call the revolving lanterns? Despite the gravity of my wound, I felt no pain whatsoever.
A millisecond later, my body was covered in bright golden light, recovering all the lost body parts and closing my wound. The cooldown of the halo ended just in time!
I wish I could celebrate that fact more, but the enemy before me was still moving in to attack. I quickly turned to the side and sent a kick at her, sending her a little distance away.
Then, I morphed the gun into a shotgun, cocked the lever, and pulled the trigger.
*BANG!*
A brief and loud sound echoed as I did, sending half of the Succubus Lord’s head to kingdom come. Like a puppet that got its strings cut, the Succubus Lord fell forward uncontrollably.
“Is she dead?”
I muttered it out of reflex but immediately regretted it. Although she was still flat on the ground, her head started regenerating at a rapid pace. It looked disgusting to see her flesh moving and squirming as it fixed itself.
“Ember, tie her up quickly!”
Seeing that the regeneration was about to finish, Ember threw two clones toward her. The two clones morphed into the slime suit and covered her body from head to toe in two layers.
Although I was using it normally to boost my physical abilities, the slime suit was also the perfect restraint. After regenerating, the Succubus Lord quickly realized that her body couldn’t move.
I didn’t wait for a second more and aimed the shotgun toward her head.
