Kent stood with stoic face, his gaze locked on the two women before him. The treasures of the shrine piled under the soft light, cascading like rivers of gold and jewels around them.
Gunji zing and Jean were staring at each other in disbelief.
Aran Lam and Kent pet’s were watching Kent in suspense.
Gunji Zing’s eyes burned with a rare resolve as she finally made her decision and stepped forward, her voice steady but filled with emotion.
“Mr. Kent, I am really grateful for your offer. But I have one condition. Take Lady Jean also as your wife, then only I will agree to be your wife and spend life with you. She loves you more than herself,” Gunji declared.
The words echoed through the chamber. Silence followed, thick and suspenseful.
Jean’s eyes, wide with disbelief and she held her breath waiting for Kent’s response. Her hands trembled slightly, betraying the overwhelming emotions she struggled to contain.
After a brief pause, Kent spoke in calm tone.
“I already consider her as my wife.”
That one sentence brought life back to everyone around.
Jean’s knees buckled, and she collapsed to the floor, tears streaming down her face. Her sobs filled the chamber as she covered her face with her palms, overcome by the flood of emotions she had long suppressed.
Gunji knelt beside her, wrapping her arms around Jean in a comforting embrace, patting her gently on the back.
“It’s alright, sister Jean. Now we both are related.” Gunji whispered.
Jean slowly raised her tear-streaked face, looking up at Kent with a mixture of gratitude and adoration. Gunji helped her to her feet, and together, the two women turned toward Kent, bowing deeply.
“We greet you as our husband,” they said in unison, their voices soft yet unwavering.
From the corner of the chamber, Kent’s animal companions clapped their hands in unison, their innocent joy adding warmth to the heartfelt scene. Even the baby dragon, its small wings fluttering, cheered in its own way, circling the air with bursts of playful flames.
Kent’s gaze softened as he watched them. A rare, genuine smile tugged at the corners of his lips. He stepped forward and placed a hand gently on Jean’s head, his other hand resting on Gunji’s shoulder.
“I promise to take good care of you. But for now, Let’s sort through the treasures and prepare to leave this place as soon as possible,” Kent instructed.
With renewed energy, everyone eagerly turned toward the towering piles of treasures. The ancient shrine’s wealth lay before them, scattered across like stars fallen from the sky. Each piece shimmered with a forgotten history, and the air buzzed with the faint remnants of ancient magic.
“Look for a treasure that can help the baby dragon evolve,” Kent reminded them, his eyes scanning the countless artifacts and relics.
Gunji nodded, immediately diving into the task. She began sorting through the lower-level spirit rank treasures, her hands deftly separating them into piles.
Aran Lam, a musician by trade, received treasures related to his craft. Delicate instruments and spirit-infused lyres found their way into his arms, his excitement evident with every find.
“This is incredible… I never imagined I’d see artifacts like these,” Aran murmured, carefully examining a silver flute engraved with glowing runes.
Gunji chuckled. “You deserve it. Your musical hall hunt brought all of us here.”
Meanwhile, Kent’s pets busied themselves, each creature finding joy in sifting through the shimmering sea of treasures. The baby dragon enthusiastically dug into the piles, occasionally emerging with its mouth full of glittering treasures. It proudly presented them to Kent, dropping the treasures at his feet like offerings.
“Well done,” Kent praised, patting the dragon’s head as it purred with delight.
The sorting process continued for hours, yet the mountain of treasures seemed endless. Gunji and Jean exchanged playful remarks as they worked, their bond strengthening with each passing moment.
As the women shared small trinkets and decorative artifacts, Kent’s gaze wandered toward the top of the treasure mountain, where a triangle shaped pagoda rested. His instincts drew him forward.
Jean noticed his distant gaze. “Is something wrong, Kent?”
“Nothing,” he replied softly. “I just need to check something.”
He stepped on tge treasures, reaching to the top.
He extended his hand, gently lifting the pagoda into his palm.
“Interesting… It might be useful,” Kent muttered with a serious look.

Meanwhile, far from the shrine, in the heart of the Demon Castle’s treasury, Philip Quinn sat alone in the shadows.
The skeletal crown of the previous Demon Emperor rested in his hands, its dark aura pulsing faintly.
Philip’s grip tightened as he lowered the crown onto his head. The chamber around him shuddered, ancient chains rattling as spectral figures emerged from the darkness. The ghost slaves of past emperors, abyssal creatures, and soul-consuming vultures gathered before him, their hollow eyes fixed upon the new ruler.
Philip’s chest heaved as he felt the immense power surging through his veins. The Demon Castle and its monstrous legions acknowledged him as their next emperor. Yet beneath their gaze lay an unspoken truth—should Philip fail to kill Kent, his fate would mirror that of his predecessor.
“Only one of us can survive… And it will be me,” Philip whispered to himself, the weight of destiny pressing heavily on his shoulders.
His eyes narrowed, and he stepped forward, his voice echoing through the dark chamber.
“Prepare the army. We march as soon as the eclipse rises. I want to refine the abyssal mountain.”
The spectral figures bowed in unison, vanishing into the shadows to carry out his orders. Philip remained, staring into the void, his mind consumed by thoughts of abyssal mountain.
Back at the shrine, Kent finally found the treasure useful for the baby dragon evolution.
It’s a golden feather tucked safely inside a red cloak. Kent held the feather for the time being as this is not right place for dragon evolution.
Meanwhile others finished sorting out the piles of treasures. If Fatty was here, he might be rolling over these treasures all day.
The treasures were neatly divided, and the group gathered near the edge, ready to depart.
Gunji approached Kent, her eyes shimmering with gratitude. “Thank you, Kent. For everything.”
Jean stood beside her, nodding softly. “We’ll stand by your side, no matter what lies ahead.”
Kent glanced at the horizon, where the sun dipped below the dunes, casting long shadows across the sands. His journey was far from over.
“Let’s go,” Kent said, leading the way. The Shrine of Eternal Sands faded into the distance, its secrets left behind.
“The disciple must go through karma to reach Salvation.” Out of nowhere the final words written on the manual surfaced in Kent mind.
