“Where is he?”
“I don’t know.”
“Didn’t you say that you are good at finding people?” Steve said annoyedly at Dio.
“Well, true. But I need to find where they have been first!” Dio said as he rolled his eyes and walked ahead.
He didn’t really remember how the psychiatrist looked like, and therefore, he couldn’t just use [Moody Blues] casually.
Well, it wouldn’t really matter since the psychiatrist most likely has already killed all Winter Soldiers if everything went according to the movie plot!
Steve and Bucky looked at each other as they followed Dio helplessly. At the same time, Tony and Natasha were about to arrive at HYDRA’s Siberian base.
About several minutes later, Dio and the other finally found the frozen warehouse where all the Winter Soldier was being kept in their frozen state.
“Is this the place?”
“It should be. Be careful. They may have been awakened.”
Right, when they stepped into the room, the lights suddenly lit up, and they could immediately see everything in the room! At the same time, Helmut Zemo’s voice was heard through the speaker inside the room, “Welcome to Siberia; you don’t have to worry about anything here as I already killed all of them!”
“Did you seriously think that I want more people like you out there? But I have to thank them for bringing all of you to this place!” Zemo said smugly.
Steve immediately checked the frozen cribs and found out that every Winter Soldier had a hole on their head.
“Did you kill so many innocent people just to lure us here?”
“That’s correct! I spent a whole year just studying the Avengers and follows you around to make sure I didn’t miss anything about each and every one of you!”
“We are here now! Show yourself!”
Another light was suddenly turned on in another room, showing Helmut Zemo behind a protective glass wall!
Steve immediately threw his shield towards the glass, but it just bounced off without damaging the glass.
“Don’t bother, Captain. The Soviets built this chamber to withstand the impact of a nuclear explosion.”
But as he finished his sentence, a glowing red scythe sliced the glass-like tofu. The tip of the scythe almost reached Zemo’s head!
“Looks like the Soviets doesn’t try that hard either! I didn’t have to try hard to get you out of that cage.” Dio said smugly as he snapped his finger, recalling the [Reaper’s Gaze] back.
“Oh, of course, I believe you can do it. I already received the truth, Mr. Dio! But I already prepared for it! Why do you think I lured all of you here but killed all those Winter Soldiers? But, it’s a pity that I can’t see Mr. Stark before I leave!”
“Stark? Are you a Sokovian? So you’re doing all this for revenge?” Steve asked as he walked over.
“That’s half of the truth! I made an oath to punish you for all your wrongdoing that couldn’t be judged by the law!” Zemo said as his expression was filled with sadness.
“You’ve lost someone,” Steve said knowingly.
“I lost everyone! So, you will also feel the same thing that I did! An empire could rise again when it was overthrown by enemies, but it will end miserably if it was destroyed from within!”
Suddenly, the big screen lighted up, playing a certain video. But before anyone could see it, Dio immediately sliced the video in two!
“Don’t waste your time. I know what you’re trying to do.” Dio said coldly to Zemo.
“Oh, so you also already know the incident that happened in 1991. No wonder Stark couldn’t come here.” Zemo said with a disappointed expression, while Steve and Bucky were confused and surprised by Dio’s action.
“It doesn’t matter, but if I kill you now, everything will be back on track,” Dio said coldly, but Zemo just laughed.
“Do you think this is the only tape? I lured you here just to see you all kill each other! But now that Stark wasn’t here, I guess the video will find its way to Stark in another way!” Zemo said confidently.
“I see you want to die that badly!” Dio said as he pulled the Implosion Grenade and threw it towards the glass wall.
As the grenades imploded, the glass wall was broken! Dio immediately yanked Zemo out of the room and punched him hard in the face.
“What else did you do to the video!” Dio said coldly.
“Ha… Haha… I just… Made a copy of the video… Made a copy… Timed it with an email to… Stark’s email… By now… He should have…”
Before Zemo could finish his little speech, Dio immediately punched him again, breaking Zemo’s nose in the process.
“You really want to die, didn’t you? You think I am bluffing?” Dio said coldly, but this time it was clear for everyone that Dio also exuded a strong killing intent!
“Wait a minute!” a voice suddenly shouted from the door, and here came T’Challa, complete with his Black Panther Suit!
Steve and Bucky were startled and immediately aimed their weapons towards T’Challa.
“I heard your conversation just now, and I know that what happened before was just a misunderstanding, a conspiracy. But I want to execute him myself! For the sin of masterminding my father’s death!”
Dio pondered for a moment and withdrew his scythe. Dio then kicked Zemo towards T’Challa’s side. Dio’s kick was powerful enough to wound Zemo’s lungs!
So, whether or not T’Challa really killed Zemo, he wouldn’t live for long!
T’Challa knew what Dio was doing, and he frowned a little but refrained from saying anything.
“How did you know about this place?” Steve asked curiously to T’Challa.
“I followed Stark! Let me also remind you that the UN’s troops are also on their way here. If you don’t leave this place quickly, you will be in trouble later!” T’Challa immediately left while dragging Zemo out after warning Steve about the UN.
Dio was surprised by the information that T’Challa gave. Since T’Challa was following Tony, that meant Tony was here before T’Challa did!
Dio immediately realised that the situation was far worse than he thought!
Before Dio realised it, Steve immediately ran towards Bucky and blocked several Energy Blast from the door!
“You already knew it, right? Captain, be honest with me!” Tony said as he flew inside the room.
