Knock, knock…
“May I come in?”
After the argument broke haphazardly, Wanda came into Dio’s room. She saw Dio staring out of the window with a thoughtful expression.
“What happened? Have you guys reached a decision?” Dio asked curiously as he noticed Wanda coming in.
“No, Steve received a message and left in a hurry,” Wanda said while embracing Dio.
“What about you? What do you think about all this?” Dio asked curiously.
“I honestly don’t know.”
Dio could see the confusion in her eyes, so he just smiled gently and hugged her passionately as his way to say that he would support her decision.
As for Wanda herself, she knew Dio would never wipe out a city or destroy the world for just a personal grudge despite how detached Dio was!
“I will follow your decision. If you didn’t sign it, I wouldn’t either!” Wanda said confidently.
“You don’t need to do that. You are your own person and your choices should yours to decide!” Dios said with a frown on his face.
“No, that is my decision. I will follow you wherever you go.” Wanda said solemnly.
Her feeling wasn’t tied to the Avenger. Although she appreciated the Avenger’s genuine goal, she was determined to follow Dio from the start.
As for Dio himself, he felt warm and fuzzy that he never felt before from Wanda’s word.
“Great, then we will leave Earth! Remember when I told you that we should go on our little space adventure? We can go see various cultures on another planet ourselves!” Dio said with a warm smile on his face.
But before Wanda could say anything, Pietro came in and interrupted their time.
“Pietro! How many times do I have to tell you that it’s extremely rude to eavesdrop on people!” Wanda stared coldly at Pietro.
“Oh, I’m sorry, but I’m afraid that when I knock on the door, my sister, who was born 12 minutes later than me, is about to be abducted by a creep! Now, shouldn’t you guys gave me an explanation about all this?” Pietro said with a frown on his face.
“What explanation do you want? I am having a relationship with Dio, and that is the end of it!” Wanda said annoyedly.
She didn’t hide it from Pietro anymore as she knew that it was useless.
“Did you think I am a fool? I already know that you two spend your time joined at the hips almost on every opportunity! I am not that oblivious!” Pietro shouted irritatedly.
He never told Wanda that he knew because he wanted her to tell him herself.
“I mean, if I don’t find out about this little getaway of yours, what then? Would you leave me behind to deal with this shitty situation without anyone I can trust?” Pietro said with a disappointed expression.
“Of course not! You are Wanda’s twin brother. Even if I want to take Wanda away, I will always include you in!” Dio said confidently.
But Pietro just looked at Dio inquisitively as he didn’t have the power to distinguish the truth as Wanda did.
However, seeing Dio’s expression, he could somewhat believe that his words were the truth!
“Good to know! But I will make it clear now, Wanda is my only family right now, and I don’t know what you did to her to make her fall for you, but I will willingly trust and follow you as she does as long as you treat her right! At least until she got married! But if I knew that you hurt her, even in the slightest, I swear to god, I will kill you myself!” Pietro said solemnly.
After saying all that, Pietro smiled and took out his phone for some game while Wanda and Dio blankly looked at him with a blank expression.
Did Pietro’s word move them in any way? It definitely did!
Wanda finally noticed that her brother also knew that they will eventually have their own family in the future and would not be able to stay together like now.
But then again, Wanda started to wonder how Pietro will keep his word if Dio did hurt her while Pietro has no chance of winning a fight against Dio.
But she knew that her brother said it out of goodwill and that was all she needed!
“Remember to call me when you’re ready to go,” Pietro said coolly while moving out of the room.
Dio and Wanda immediately looked at each other. “Did he hit his head when he was a kid?” Dio asked Wanda sarcastically.
“Well, he may be. It is not my job to take care of him back then.” Wanda said with a smirk on her face.
“No wonder… But did he really just gave us his consent?” Dio asked awkwardly.
“I guess so… Pietro believes that I will marry you, so why did he still hate you like that?” Wanda wondered herself.
“It’s probably his ego, you know, for never winning against me,” Dio said as he laughed warmly. He didn’t really understand what just happened, but he seriously didn’t want to find out.

Dio no longer hesitated, he would take Wanda, Pietro, and Mantis from the Avenger with him, and that also included the Dark Battleship that now was in SHIELD’s care. Although he knew that his action could be said uncooperative, he didn’t have the slightest care.
So, without any delay, Dio contacted the Dark Elves and ordered them to evacuate from SHIELD’s base immediately. He permitted them to use non-fatal measures if anyone got in their way.
The Dark Elves acted quickly and efficiently. They arrived at Dio’s location in an hour. However, Nick Fury immediately called, like Dio expected him to be.
“Are you leaving earth?” Nick Fury asked curiously.
Dio was a little surprised that Nick didn’t nag him, but he could clearly notice that Nick’s voice was full of exhaustion.
Nick’s prediction wasn’t wrong. Dio indeed thought of leaving Earth right away, but after remembering the MCU plot, he knew that Thanos’s arrival was just around the corner.
“That depends on what action does those UN leaders chose to take. Either they gave up their hands, or force my hands!” Dio said casually.
