“Divine energy is a form of energy above that which exists in your world. The more contact you have with your world, the more it will get destroyed,” Order said.
“You know, I don’t understand why Order himself would be talking to me. I makes me feel like this is a trick or something—it doesn’t make sense,” Silva said.
“It’s not a trick, Silva, and no one is trying to deceive you.”
Silva heard a voice behind him. He turned to see Ophelia standing there.
He hadn’t expected her to be here. He felt maybe she would be rotting away somewhere that Order threw her into, but here she was, healthy and looking like nothing had happened.
“I thought Order captured you,” Silva asked. Those were the first words to leave his mouth.
“I am captured, even now. What you see is simply a holographic projection of me and not the real me,” Ophelia said.
“This is stupid. The both of you are supposed to be enemies—at least that was what you made me think. So tell me, why the hell are you here looking like you’re on some vacation or something?” Silva asked.
“I understand your confusion, Silva, but you must understand—things do not work here the same way as on Argon. The playing field is bigger. There are no enemies or friends, only opportunities to be taken.
Order and I will never be on good terms. He has me prisoner, despite the fact that I can talk to you now. Order always has a grip on me, stopping me from leaving,” Ophelia explained.
“I see, but that is not what’s important. The important thing here is the fact that I have to leave Argon. I have eleven minds, and yes, it does make sense,” Silva said.
“It does make sense, Silva. Your mind is simply refusing to accept it. Your presence on Argon is very destructive and against Order,” Ophelia said. “A being of your status can’t be on a planet like that. You are dangerous even when you’re not trying to be. Even when you don’t want to be, you are still dangerous.
It’s a simple setup that was created to ensure that balance is kept. That’s why I could not help you before. I could not talk to you one-on-one and had to use those tasks.
Whenever I physically went to Argon, it made Order come after me. So now you understand why you can’t be there, right?” Ophelia asked.
“I understand everything. As a demigod, I can’t stay in the world of Argon. My presence will cause issues for Argon.
But before I agree to your terms and whatever you have for me, I have some questions to ask. The first—Ragna. Ragna is coming for Argon. If I am not there, who will stop him?” Silva asked.
“Ragna is out for you and no one else. If he discovers that you are gone, he’ll leave Argon be and chase after you. All he wants is you,” Ophelia explained.
“So Ragna doesn’t have a single issue with Argon or Ophelia—just me. So this is basically another reason for me to leave,” Silva said.
“Ragna is a primordial being—one of the closest things to being outside Order. He possesses the army of the Weeping Angels, a terrifying force, and you have met them,” Ophelia said.
“Yeah, and why do you call them terrifying? I have fought against the angels, and back then, I still defeated many,” Silva said.
“Law and Order guide the entities of worlds,” Order spoke. “A being can be powerful, yet his power can’t show due to restrictions placed on that world. Argon is a sophisticated world. It has been on its last legs for thousands of years, and so, to ensure that it doesn’t get destroyed, I set a law.
A law that cuts down the power of whoever enters the world from outside. Like the Weeping Angels—their strength was heavily cut back for the safety of Argon,” Order said.
“You see, now you are losing. Aren’t you the one that wants to end Argon? I am the Dark Dragon—one of me almost killed you, so it makes me think you would absolutely hate me and Argon.
You have been out to kill me all this time. You have been removing the Goddess of Argon whenever she tried to help me. So please tell me—why would you create such a law around Argon?” Silva asked.
“Silva, like I said, things don’t work the same way here,” Ophelia said.
“You know what? Shut up. Shut the hell up. You have said and done enough. I don’t know what to believe or what to say right now.
All that you are saying is a jumbled-up mess, and I don’t want to even try to decipher it,” Silva said, his expression showing that he was genuinely pissed off.
“Listen to me now. Send me back to Argon. I was on a mission of fixing Argon, and until I am done ensuring that Argon is safe, I will not be leaving.
I can already guess that I can’t take my family with me, so I want to make sure that they live in a world that is fixed and safe.
You both have caused them enough trauma with your shenanigans, playing and toying with lives like it was nothing. But not anymore.
So if what I’ve said pisses you off, then send your little white men against me to stop me. Or, as a matter of fact, come yourself.
But as for now, I want to go back and finish what I’ve started. When I am done, I’ll tell you, and then you can whisk me up to wherever it is that you want me to be,” Silva said.
“Fine. You can go, Silva. You have ten days—the maximum that I can give to you,” Order said.
