Zareth stared into Silva’s eyes with fear and trembling; no matter how stubborn she was or how strong her will was, the pain she felt, her mind and body could not take it; her will could not overcome it.
“I’ll lead you, please stop.” She finally broke, saying the words Silva wanted to hear. Silva let out a smile and stopped the pain; she fell to the ground, shaking.
“Sometimes, it is better to let go of your pride and strong will because they might get you killed. Hopefully, this will be a lesson to you,” Silva said, looking down at her.
She didn’t say anything, unable to respond for a while. Her body had been completely run through with that unimaginable pain; she had almost shut down completely.
After a while, she managed to get herself back on her feet. She was still weak and in pain, but she didn’t want to keep Silva waiting for long.
“I am the only commander that has come from hell, the rest are still there,” she said.
“Then what about the demon that stole identities? Who is he if he is not a commander? He said that he had strength greater than yours, so do you care to explain?” Silva said.
“A demon that can steal identities?” she asked out loud and fell into a small moment of thought. Her eyes widened, and she looked at Silva with shock.
“You ran into Albedoz? How are you still alive?” she asked.
“Is that supposed to be a serious question? Because I feel it is dumb, very dumb,” Silva said.
“I’m sorry, it’s just that Albedoz is the only commander that is respected by even the generals, known for his commitment and strength.
He had once fought with a general; though he lost, he had given the general several injuries, something none of us could ever do,” Zareth explained.
“And you somehow feel that because he can do that, I would not be able to defeat him? Sigh, just lead the way back to hell,” Silva said.
“You want me to take you to hell?” she asked in shock.
“Did I stutter? I want to go to hell, and from there, I will enforce a new peace and force it on the demons, even if I have to. That’s something your demons are known for, after all—using force to get what you want,” Silva said.
Zareth had no words to argue with him. She didn’t understand the confidence that backed all of this that Silva said, but she knew one thing for sure, and that was the fact that he could kill her in a heartbeat.
She had been a demon that never feared death. She wanted to die in battle as she fought against her enemies, yet now a crippling fear of death filled her heart, and it increased whenever she looked at Silva.
“What are you waiting for? I said I wanted to head to hell. Lead the way,” Silva said, snapping her out of her thoughts. She nodded immediately and faced the castle; she flapped her wings and shot into the air.
Silva did the same, flying behind her with Terra by his side. As they arrived at the castle, she pointed down at a massive black hole which demons were still trooping out of.
Silva saw them coming out and frowned; he raised his hands into the air, and a black fireball the size of a fist formed over his hand.
He allowed the fireball to drop and enter the gate, and immediately after, a very massive explosion followed. The screams and wails of the demons could be heard from the other side.
Zareth watched this in shock. This was something she would never take sitting down. She would have attacked the person who did this and made sure she killed him, but whenever she looked at Silva, the pain she felt flooded her mind, and her fear of him spiked.
“Now that those are out of the way, let’s go,” he said. She obediently nodded and flew down, and so did Silva. She flew through the gate without stopping; Silva followed close behind and entered.
Immediately, he passed through the gate, it was like he had been transferred to another world, and technically, it was true.
The ground was red as blood, and heat emanated from the ground, with hot steam seeping through the cracks.
The air was dry and hot, enough to bake the skin of a normal human, enough to burn their lungs from inside. The skies were black, and red vortexes served as their light.
There was no vegetation in sight; all that could be seen were the red rocks in the distance and some crawling creatures that ran all around.
At Silva’s feet were the several demons that his fireball had killed, a number up to twenty. “So this is hell? A very crude place to be sealed for thousands of years,” Silva said. He looked at the demons that were staring at him and Zareth, not sure what they should do. They had barely survived the fireball attack, and now their minds were in disarray.
“This is the place the goddess created to seal us, while the celestials walk in clouds and skip away in happiness,” Zareth said coldly.
“I see,” Silva said in a low tone. “Still, I’m not forgiving your actions, though,” he added and snapped his finger. Immediately, Terra attacked with light blades and killed all the goblins there.
Zareth watched this, her rage reached a point where she didn’t care anymore. She just wanted to make Silva feel her wrath.
Silva felt the bloodlust; he looked at her, his eyes turning into his gold dragon eyes. Zareth stared at them and subconsciously backed down in fear.
“You want to kill me, Zareth?” Silva asked.
“You and your blood race have only been on Argon for a while, yet you have already wiped out a good percentage and terrified the rest.
You have no right to get angry when I kill one of yours as well; after all, those that live by the sword die by the sword,” Silva said.
