The team understood him. They could tell that whatever conversation he had with Seventh was very serious and heavy.
The fact that this person looked exactly like Silva and Silva was apprehensive of this person said it all.
“It seems the demons are not coming, Master,” one of the clones spoke.
“How so?” Silva asked.
“By the time you had finished your fight, their army had entered the forest wall already, so none of them saw the attack that you had done,” the clone explained.
“I see. Thank you, then,” Silva said and unsummoned his clones. He looked at the team and spoke. “The demons have already started heading through the forest.
We can’t contact Amber due to the panic the elves are currently going to be in, so we can’t get her to open the gates for us. There is also the fact that the demons are extremely smart. They might have someone watching, and if they see the gates open, it might be game over,” Silva said.
“So what are you suggesting that we do now?” Lily asked.
“Go through it like them. It will be a very tough thing to do, especially with the monsters of the forest, but if we push through with certain methods, it should work.
I’ll summon my abyssal army, and they will take care of the monsters that attack us while we stay at the center and run in a straight line. If it works out, we should be able to get into the empire,” Silva explained.
“We don’t have many choices now, do we? So we have to do what we can,” Aris said.
“Master, I think we are forgetting other defenses that the elves might have activated upon realizing that the demons are coming,” Drake said.
“That’s true, Silva. The monsters might just be one of the issues we will have to face while we are going through there,” Lily said.
“We will have to deal with that when we are inside. There’s not much choice right now. If push comes to shove, I’ll have my clones and my system bring down the whole forest, but we have to make it in at any cost,” Silva said.
The group could tell that there was no swaying Silva about brute-forcing his way through the forest, so they agreed to it.
When everyone was ready, Silva summoned his abyssal army. They created a formation around them and started moving fast, heading for the forest.
They moved at their top pace to ensure they got there quickly. When they reached the forest, the army didn’t even falter. They charged into the forest, fully ready to fight.
Immediately after they got into the forest, the battle began. Terrifyingly massive monsters with skins so dark and eyes so terrifying came out.
It was a complete monstrosity fest, with things Silva had never imagined he would see in this world.
With jagged teeth and claws, they all started charging at Silva’s force. The team looked around, more stunned than scared, because they never knew creatures like this could exist.
These monsters were all an effort from the world tree to protect itself—monsters of its own design, with no one’s hand to guide their creation.
The collision soon started, with the monsters ramming into Silva’s army with unimaginable force. But the army was not just any army. They were not just any creatures. They were abyssal creatures—beings made from the abyss. They were born far stronger than any normal evolved human.
But that was not all. With Silva’s ten-times buff, they were even stronger than before—terrifyingly strong now.
The abyssal creatures started ripping into the monsters, turning it into a bloody massacre. They didn’t allow even one monster to get past them.
Silva and the others watched as this unfolded. Silva remembered when he was eager to fight these things. Back then, they would have been a great boost for him, but not anymore. Now their EXP was only about ten thousand.
But that was still a good amount for him. He wanted to use this opportunity to rise to level ten evolved if possible.
If each monster that his summons killed was giving him ten thousand, that translated to a hundred thousand, so he would need sixty of them dead for his next level up.
