Chapter 32
“…” Luo Yangyang widened her big innocent eyes. She remembered his question under his dangerous gaze. “You picked up Teacher Wen’s call, so you should have known about my meeting with Director Hua.”
Luo Yangyang unconsciously cursed him out in her heart again. She did not dare to show any signs of annoyance, so she could only obediently answer him.
“You can meet him, but you can’t meet him on your own.” It was difficult to guess how he was feeling from the tone of his voice.
He had known that Luo Yangyang would be meeting Hua Yifei, but he did not think that the two would be meeting alone. He thought that Teacher Wen would be there too.
When he recalled Luo Yangyang’s sweet smile that was directed to Hua Yifei, Feng Sheng looked at her frigidly. “Don’t meet men on your own.”
Luo Yangyag was puzzled. Her huge eyes blinked a few times and she pouted her lips with frustration. “Why? I only had dinner with Director Hua. We didn’t do anything else.”
He had prohibited her from eating skewered meat before this and now he was stopping her from meeting Director Hua alone. Did Feng Sheng want to derail her life?
“There’s no ‘why’. I said no and that’s that!” Feng Sheng’s eyes turned colder as he warned Luo Yangyang with a tone that sounded like an order.
“…” Luo Yangyang glared at Feng Sheng. She was trying to use her eyes to kill Feng Sheng. After killing him in her head, she turned her head away. Her face was puffed up with anger. She did not look at him after that.
Who was he to order her?
Who was he to try to control her personal life?
Luo Yangyang got even angrier after thinking about it. She glared at the view outside the window. She mumbled lowly, “Dictator. Animal. Tyrant. Cold bastard…”
“What did you say?” It was only the both of them in the car. In the small space, any sound would be amplified. Feng Sheng’s hearing was already quite good, so he could hear Luo Yangyang cursing at him.
Calling him a dictator?
This he would admit. Tyrant and animal, however… Was he really a bastard?
Luo Yangyang blinked and looked at Feng Sheng who was squinting his eyes dangerously. She just realized that she had actually said what she was feeling in her heart out loud.
Luo Yangyang was startled. She shook her head immediately and denied, “I didn’t say anything!”
Damn it!
She must have been so angry that she could not think straight. How could she curse Feng Sheng when he was right in front of her?
She could not curse him no matter how small her voice was. She should find a place with no on there so that she could scream out her frustration and agitation.
Feng Sheng lifted his eyebrows when he looked at Luo Yangyang who was noticeably furious. He sensed that she was trying hard to contain her anger and not scream at him. Seeing that, his mood elevated.
The light turned green. The car cruised slowly toward their home. The atmosphere in the car had eased slightly.
After the long silence, Luo Yangyang’s anger was alleviated. She hesitated and peered at Feng Sheng in secret.
What she saw was his serious driving face. Under the appearing and disappearing streetlights, he did not seem as gloomy and solemn as before.
Was he not mad anymore?
Luo Yangyang was confused. She felt that this man was weird and unpredictable.
The two of them got home safely. Luo Ying watched them coming in through the door, but failed to sense anything wrong between them.
Before going to bed, Luo Yangyang made sure she locked the door and the windows. She even took a chair to block the door from the inside. Only then did she go to sleep.
This was the second night of her sleeping in the Feng’s family house. After a few moments though, she jolted up from her slumber.
When she opened her eyes, she saw a dark figure at the end of her bed and under the pale moonlight shining in from the opened curtains. “Ah!”
Luo Yangyang pulled her blanket and hid underneath it like a coward.
Feng Sheng crossed his arms across his chest. He had his back facing the moonlight. He looked like the powerful god of darkness as he stood at the end of her bed. He remained there motionless and stood there for a very long time.
Watching Luo Yangyang disappearing under her blanket after letting out a scream, Feng Sheng said calmly, “It’s me.”
