Using the tips of his toes, he glided over to Ling Chuxi.
Ling Chuxi’s eyes immediately flew open. As she kept her gaze past Mu Liufeng’s approaching figure, she clearly saw that Li Ruihong stood rooted to the spot when suddenly a spurt of blood shot out of his neck like an arrow. Then, Li Ruihong slowly crumbled to the ground, no longer breathing. It only took a single move for Li Ruihong to die by Mu Liufeng’s hand.
“What are you looking at?” questioned Mu Liufeng as he appeared by Ling Chuxi. The corners of his lips curled up into an enchanting smile.
“Mu Liufeng…” called out Ling Chuxi slowly as she stared at the person in front of her. The scene that had just taken place in front of her eyes had shocked her. Who exactly was Mu Liufeng? Why did he kill someone from the Deity Temple without even blinking? What kind of level had Mu Liufeng’s cultivation reached? Everything was a mystery.
“You wicked disciple! You actually don’t even greet me when we meet!” rebuked Mu Liufeng as he squinted his bewitching eyes and reached out a hand to ruffle Ling Chuxi’s hair.
“Who exactly are you?” asked Ling Chuxi in a serious tone as she deftly moved her head slightly, out of Mu Liufeng’s reach.
“I am your master,” deflected Mu Liufeng lazily, still wearing a charming smile that was full of undecipherable feelings.
“My Lord.” Suddenly two people speedily approached.
“Yeah?” answered Mu Liufeng with the same lazy attitude as he slowly turned around to look at the two people who were rushing over.
Ling Chuxi sized up the two men in black who had rushed over, trying to guess Mu Liufeng’s identity in her heart. It could be seen with a mere glance that these two men in black were experts who had been well trained. Why did they call Mu Liufeng, Lord? Could it be that Mu Liufeng was also a part of the Deity Temple and he was eradicating dissidents? No. That can’t be right! Mu Liufeng said such mocking words toward Li Ruihong earlier that it did not seem like he was a part of the Deity Temple.
