Its dark tendrils wrapped around the Behemoths' limbs, exploiting the momentary blindness inflicted by the Sacred Fire. The shadow creature's assault was relentless, striking with precision and ferocity.
The adult Behemoths, already weakened and disoriented, found themselves overwhelmed by the Abyssal Phantom's power.
Their attempts to shake off the shadowy attacker were futile, as the Phantom's strength seemed to grow with each passing second.
Xu Feng watched the scene unfold with satisfaction.
The Abyssal Phantom's attacks were not only physically damaging but also seemed to drain the Behemoths' will to fight. Their movements became sluggish, their roars less fierce.
"As expected of a Tier 2 summoning skill." Xu Feng mumbled, impressed by the devastating offensive power. The Abyssal Phantom might be a summoned creature, but anyone dared to underestimate it would be surely sorry. Thinking about this, Xu Feng realized some might even begin to mistake him for a Summoner.
'Hmm, this isn't bad.' He thought, grinning briefly as he watched the adult Behemoths continue to struggle under the relentless assault of the Abyssal Phantom.
Although the Abyssal Phantom received damage from time to time, nearly getting one shot in the process, Xu Feng was quite meticulous in his healing and buff. He ensured the Abyssal Phantom could remain healthy on the battlefield and completely focus on offense and nothing else.
The cooldown for the summoning was 180 seconds, so by the time when Xu Feng failed to heal the Abyssal Phantom in time, he could easily resummon it.
Such a method was only possible because he was a Cleric.
Who else but him could buff and heal the Abyssal Phantom to remain in the field for such a long duration?

With an outcry, the Abyssal Phantom started dealing with numerous Shadow Strikes without clams. The Shadow Strikes quickly proved fatal as the adult Behemoths started to stagger back and forth from the increased aggression.
A few seconds later, the adult Behemoths started to have a defensive aura shrouding them, reducing the damage taken from all attacks. Following was a series of Roar of Dominances, which emitted a fearsome roar that stunned the nearby enemies and reduced their attack power temporarily.
Unfortunately for both Xu Feng and the Abyssal Phantom, they were quickly affected by the debuff. It wasn't that Xu Feng didn't notice it, but he was merely limited by his lack of resources to counter it.
Additionally, he could not afford to retreat, otherwise, the adult Behemoths would gain distance to rescue their younglings. Currently, his duty was to stall them for as long as possible, leaving the killing of the younglings part for Carmen and Jeff.
Thus, he could only remain within a certain range while assisting the Abyssal Phantom.
Alas, things turned from bad to worse when the adult Behemoths retaliated with Iron Swipe, a powerful melee attack that dealt significant physical damage and had a chance to inflict a bleeding status effect.
The Abyssal Phantom received 3300 damage, which would have left it with 200 health for Xu Feng to heal. However, the bleeding effect was immediate, causing the 200 to drop instantaneously.
'Damn, they managed to land a critical hit.' Xu Feng twitched his brows, feeling quite unlucky. The chance of a critical hit occurring was less than 10% under their condition, so it was truly an unfortunate event.
With the Abyssal Phantom vanishing, the two adult Behemoths glared at their next target, Xu Feng.

Naturally, these explosive pods wouldn't harm the Behemoth in the slightest since they were synthesized to deal with the Pyrite Drakes specialty and not the Behemoths.
