Yu Qi heard a knock on her door. She was surprised. Usually, after knocking on the door, the nurses would open the door if the door was unlocked. She remembered that she had not locked the door earlier. So, it was strange.
She stood up and opened the door. At first, she did not see anyone. She frowned and was about to close back the door. But her eyes happened to look down, and she found the boy looking at her.
"Rafael?" Yu Qi remembered this boy.
"Hello." Lefebvre Rafael blinked innocently at Yu Qi.
Yu Qi squatted down, holding his small hands. "Rafael, why are you here?" She asked softly.
"I am visiting Father's friend." Lefebvre Rafael stated.
"Then, where is your father?" Yu Qi asked again.
Lefebvre Rafael made a small gesture with his shoulder, showing that he did not know about that.
"Rafael, you can not run away like that from your father. He might be worried about you." Yu Qi said.
"He never worried about me." Lefebvre Rafael stated.
Yu Qi did not know what to say. She stood up and closed her office door, and held Lefebvre Rafael's hand again, guiding him to follow her. While they were heading to the registration, Lefebvre Amaury was running to Yu Qi's office from another direction.
When he arrived at Yu Qi's office, he knocked on the door. No one answered. The door was also locked. He was breathing heavily. He wondered what her son was running around this time. He took his eyes off him for one second, and he vanished.
Yu Qi and Lefebvre Rafael arrived at the registration counter. The nurse saw Lefebvre Rafael and began to surround him. He was overwhelmed by the sudden attention. He quickly hid behind Yu Qi's leg and looked at the crowd with wary eyes.
"What are you doing? That boy is scared of you now." A nurse scolded the nurses who surrounded the boy.
"But, he looks so cute. I want to eat him," One of the nurses said.
Hearing that, Lefebvre Rafael's eyes went wide. He looked at the nurse like she was a monster. Well, the boy heard that someone wanted to eat him, of course, he would be scared.
One of the nurses smacked the nurse's back.
"What are you saying? Look at the boy. He is terrified hearing you want to eat him."
The nurse looked at Lefebvre Rafael. She shook her head. "No... No... No... I don't mean that literally."
"Why are you explaining to the boy like that? He is not going to understand you." Another nurse said.
Yu Qi chuckled. "Rafael, this nurse just thinks that you are cute. She likes you so much."
Lefebvre Rafael nodded but still looked warily at the nurse.
"Lefebvre Rafael!" A voice could be heard calling Lefebvre Rafael.
Yu Qi turned and saw Lefebvre Amaury, who looked stern. Lefebvre Rafael frowned and hid behind Yu Qi. Lefebvre Amaury was panting on his breath.
"Come out and talk to me." Lefebvre Amaury said.
Lefebvre Rafael slowly stepped aside from Yu Qi's leg and faced his father.
"Why can't you stop running around? If someone bad catches you, what are you doing?" Lefebvre Amaury scolded Lefebvre Rafael.
"I just want to see her." Lefebvre Rafael stated.
"I already promised you that we are going to meet her after I visit my friend here." Lefebvre Amaury stated.
"But you are taking it forever." Lefebvre Rafael looked at his father angrily.
"You..." Lefebvre Amaury had no word.
"Rafael, you should listen to your father." Yu Qi reminded Lefebvre Rafael.
Lefebvre Rafael bit his lips, trying to hold back his tears.
Yu Qi squatted down, facing Lefebvre Rafael at the same level. "Rafael, do you want to meet a new friend?"
Lefebvre Rafael, who was about to cry, looked stunned at Yu Qi.
"You are pretty similar to my little brother. I think you two can get along nicely." Yu Qi said. "However, right now, you need to listen to your father. What if you get caught by someone, and he wants to eat you? You don't want that, right?"
Lefebvre Rafael nodded several times.
Yu Qi stood up and looked at Lefebvre Amaury.
"I think Mr Su will call you later about signing the deal." Yu Qi stated.
"You agree?" Lefebvre Amaury was surprised.
"The deal comes promising for Qinyue Group. Of course, we will agree on that." Yu Qi said.
"It will succeed." Lefebvre Amaury said.
"Let's have dinner at my house on the day you sign the deal." Yu Qi said. She then turned to Lefebvre Rafael. "I will introduce my little brother to you on that day. So, you need to listen to your father from now on. Can you do it?"
"I can see you too?" Lefebvre Rafael asked.
"Of course." Yu Qi nodded.
"Okay. Pinky promise." Lefebvre Rafael lifted up his cute pinky finger.
"Hmm... Pinky promise." Yu Qi linked his finger to Lefebvre Rafael's finger.
Lefebvre Amaury took Lefebvre Rafael away. Lefebvre Rafael waved his small hand to Yu Qi. Yu Qi waved back and smiled.
"That gentleman is the one who lost his child not long ago, right?" A nurse asked Yu Qi.
"Yeah." Yu Qi nodded.
"Both of them looked different." Another nurse chimed in.
"The boy probably inherited most of his looks from his mother."
"His wife must be a beauty as well."
"I am hoping to see his wife too."
