A man who was wearing a white robe came out of the room. Yu Qi and Long Hui were pretty shocked to see the man. He looked exactly similar to Bai Weimin, Long Hui's previous master. Even his temperament was kind of similar.
"Greetings to two of you." The man smiled at Yu Qi and Long Hui. "I heard both of you
requested to see me under the Ancestor's request."
"Yes... The Ancestor asks us to visit Master Bai Weimin's grave on his behalf." Long Hui said.
"I see. Then, let me bring you out there." The man stated.
While they were on the way to the grave, Long Hui asked the man about his name.
"My name is Bai Shuwen." The man stated.
"Bai? Are you Master Bai Weimin's descendant?" Yu Qi asked.
"Yes. I am." Bai Shuwen nodded.
Yu Qi and Long Hui looked at each other. They knew what was in their minds. They arrived at the hill. There was an array surrounding the area.
"You probably wonder why there is an array here." Bai Shuwen paused for a moment, opening the array. Then, he continued. "A lot of grave robbers came here intending to rob the grave. Well, none of them succeed anyway. My family was afraid that the grave robbers might destroy the grave. We decided to put the array here. If someone came and forced their way to enter the grave area, the array would attack them and inform us about that."
Bai Shuwen gestured to two people to enter the area. Long Hui and Yu Qi stepped in.
"All of the sect Leaders of Glorious Fame Sect had been buried here." Bai Shuwen said. "Sect Leader Bai Weimin had been buried over there." He pointed at the top of the hill.
The three of them walked approaching the grave. The grave was clean and well-maintained. There was a fresh flower in front of the grave.
Yu Qi and Long Hui bowed their head to the grave. Long Hui looked at the grave while tightening his fist. After losing Yu Qi in the past, Long Hui came to see his Master. His master did not stop him from doing what he wanted to do. He even encouraged him.
Long Hui suddenly kowtowed to Bai Weimin's grave three times. Bai Shuwen was surprised but he never spoke a word.
Yu Qi also watched Long Hui silently. She knew the feeling.
"Sect Leader Bai, thank you for allowing us to pay respect to Master Bai Weimin." Long Hui said.
"Let's return first." Bai Shuwen said.
So, they were back at Bai Shuwen's courtyard. Bai Shuwen served them some tea.
"Sect Leader Bai, the Ancestor asked about the preparation to fight the evil cultivators." Yu Qi stated.
"We improved our strength steadily. Tell the Ancestor that he does not need to worry about that." Bai Shuwen said.
"It's great to hear that." Yu Qi nodded.
After pondering for a moment, Yu Qi decided to ask. "Sect Leader Bai, is your family member still around?"
Bai Shuwen was curious as to why Yu Qi asked for the matter. "Why do you ask?"
"Well... Today, we meet an old man at the market. He is opening the stall selling some goods. His aura is pretty similar to you." Yu Qi said.
"Oh... Him... He is my uncle." Bai Shuwen said. "Your cultivation must be higher than us."
"That is not like that. I am just sensitive to someone's aura. That's all." Yu Qi said.
That was probably true. However, she did not want to admit it.
"By the way, do you buy a box from him?" Bai Shuwen asked.
"How do you know that?" Yu Qi asked back.
"How do you see the box?" Bai Shuwen did not answer Yu Qi's question and asked another question.
"An old box." Yu Qi said.
Bai Shuwen narrowed his eyes. "I see. Have you tried to open it?"
"Not yet. I am thinking of opening it tonight." Yu Qi shook her head.
"Why do you buy the box?" Bai Shuwen asked again.
"My instinct told me to buy it." Yu Qi stated.
"I see." Bai Shuwen said that again.
"Why are you asking me those questions?" It was time for Yu Qi to get some details from Bai Shuwen about the box.
It seemed even Bai Shuwen knew about the box.
"The box had been in our family for generations. We don't know why. We also did not know what the box was for. My uncle got hold of the box. He tried to sell it. To others, the box looks very beautiful, making people want to buy it. My uncle successfully sold the box. However, on the next day, the box mysteriously returned back to our family. This happened multiple times." Bai Shuwen stated.
"So, the box might return to your uncle tomorrow?" Yu Qi asked.
"Well, that is what usually happens in the past." Bai Shuwen said.
Yu Qi smiled. "If that is the case, it's okay."
She knew that the box might not return to the Bai Family anymore. That box belonged to her. Bai Family was only a keeper.
"We are going to leave. Thank you for your hospitality, Sect Leader Bai." Yu Qi said.
Long Hui also nodded to Bai Shuwen. This was his previous Master's descendant. He should
be respectful.
"Send my regards to the Ancestor as well." Bai Shuwen said.
"I will..." Yu Qi nodded.
