The classroom went silent again. Some students frowned, some were shocked, and one of them looked amused at Jing Yunzhao’s threat.
Suddenly, the student sitting behind Jing Yunzhao slammed her book down on the table loudly.
“Well said! Quit sticking your nose in Jing Yunzhao’s business, Jiang Xia! I heard the entire conversation so stop trying to make yourself look like a saint while emotionally blackmailing Jing Yunzhao. Let her be if she does not want to return to that place. You are lucky you were saying those things to Jing Yunzhao and not me, because I probably would have slapped you without bothering to explain things,” the girl sitting behind Jing Yunzhao stood up and said boldly.
Jing Yunzhao was surprised to hear someone standing up for her, but understood when she turned and saw who the girl was.
