Kana puffed out her cheeks as she said this. She didn't want someone picking on her handsome husband. He was very nice to her. Ceilie sighed and bowed her head. "I apologize. My words went too far." As they ate, Creige kept placing food on Kana's plate, which she ate happily. "Creige, how long do you plan to hang around for?" Ceilie asked.
"After lunch, I will be heading out. I do not want to disturb the things you have planned. Plus, if I am around too much, she will become too reliant on me. This will not be good for her growth. But Ceilie, I must ask you one favor. " Creige had heard many things about the movements of the humans and knew that they would not care for young or old. He did not want Kana to be caught up in it.
